Soon after Shigo left, the award ceremony was about to start.

While VIP guests from all over the world filled the audience seats of the mega event, the journalists and photographers gathered around the stage and did live streaming.

The judges had also taken their seats, waiting for the award ceremony to commence.

Penny and the other World Peace Prize nominees were taking a break behind the stage.

After the host had announced the opening of the award ceremony, a few leaders delivered their speeches at the podium. Penny, Mizuki, and the other nominees would also be giving their speeches on stage, but they had to wait for their turn. They could hear the audience's applause from backstage after each leader had finished their speeches.

Mizuki looked at the time and realized she would still need to wait for a few others to speak before she could go on stage.

A corner of Mizuki's mouth quirked up. "Oh, you want to hit me? I'm gonna stand right here. Go on. Punch me!"

Mizuki raised her voice and inched closer. Let's see if she dares to lay a finger on me!

Penny was hopping mad, but there was nothing she could do since Nathan had gone to the washroom, and Eva had gone to get her a glass of water.

Penny, who was all alone, did not

know what to do. How can I hit her?

Upon seeing how hesitant Penny was, Mizuki exclaimed with a smirk, "Go on! Hit me! Do you know who my father is? He is Mr. Matsuo Yori! Mizuki was so stunned that she forgot to dodge, as she did not expect someone had the guts to hit her.

Nathan's slap landed on Mizuki's cheek, causing half of her face to swell.

That slap also sent Mizuki flying before she fell hard to the ground.

Mizuki's entourage were utterly dumbstruck. They ran toward her and helped her up.

Mizuki held her swollen cheek and looked at Nathan in disbelief. "Did you just hit me?"

Nathan said with a deadpan expression, "You asked for it, didn't you? I only did what you asked for. We Eurasians are known for being helpful."
