Salute To The General
Chapter 2362

Crash!

Quentin smashed the cup on the floor as he shouted furiously at Black Mamba, "Gather all the subordinates and use the human wave attack. Destroy them no matter how heavy the price is!" Black Mamba froze on the spot, his gaze filled with hesitation.

Quentin glared at him wrathfully. "Black Mamba, are you trying to disobey my command?"

Feeling in a dilemma, Black Mamba advised, "We have already suffered a great loss. Everyone knows that Nathan's men are sharpshooters. I'm afraid no one would dare to risk their lives to go to the frontlines..." Quentin opened up his drawer and drew out a Desert Eagle. Then, he pointed it right at Black Mamba's bald head. "If your subordinates don't dare to go first, you should be the one leading them!" Black Mamba widened his eyes and looked at Quentin in shock and disbelief.

At that moment, Quentin's eyes were filled with hostility. He looked like a wild beast on the loose.

Black Mamba knew his head would be blown off if he dared to reject the order.

He lowered his head and murmured, "Understood."

Quentin sneered coldly. "Get out of my sight!"

With that, Black Mamba left.

Quentin sat back down and placed the Desert Eagle on his desk.

He took a glance at Queenie, whose eyes were brimming with tears. A boisterous laugh left his lips in response. "Don't worry. You will see your father soon. However, it will be a corpse. Hahaha!" Yet, to Quentin's befuddlement, he did not hear any gunfire after a long while.

He stood up and wanted to confront Black Mamba about what happened.

Right at that moment, the office's door was pushed open. Black Mamba walked in.

Before Quentin could open his mouth, Black Mamba stood aside and bowed toward the door.

Quentin could not believe what came into his sight.

He saw a tall, handsome man wearing Eurasia's camouflage uniform walking in casually.

It was Nathan.

Quentin was utterly dumbfounded.

Queenie could not suppress her emotions and cried out, "Papa!"

As Queenie's voice rang out, Quentin regained his senses. He instinctively tried to grab the gun on the table. Nathan uttered faintly, "I would not do that if I were you."

Upon hearing that, Quentin was startled. Still, he swiftly reached out for the gun.

Bam!

The second his finger touched the Desert Eagle, Nathan had pulled his gun from his pocket and fired a shot.

The bullet pierced through Quentin's extended right hand. Right away, his palm was turned into a bleeding mess. "Argh!"

Quentin let out a painful shriek as he clutched at his right hand and staggered back to his seat. "Papa!"

Queenie grabbed the chance and launched herself into Nathan's embrace.

Nathan carried her with one arm, his right hand still pointing the gun at Quentin.

Black Mamba, who was standing off to a corner, seemed utterly indifferent at the scene.

Quentin was beyond furious as he glared at Black Mamba. "How dare you betray me?"

Black Mamba cast his eyes downward and replied indifferently, "Many of our men think this is between you and Mr. Cross. You shouldn't let so many innocent men die for your personal matters."

As Black Mamba spoke, he glanced at Quentin. "I agree with them. Hence, I decided to invite Mr. Cross over and let you two settle your conflict in private."

Quentin was infuriated upon hearing that.

However, he knew Nathan was the one he should be worried about, not Black Mamba.

He choked on his words as he pleaded with Nathan, "Nathan, please let me go. I promise I won't disturb you again. I won't target Cross Corporation, and I will never dare to kidnap your daughter again..." Nathan uttered impassively, "It's too late. I told you that you would regret it after I come."

Upon saying that, Nathan pressed his daughter's head against his chest. After that, his right hand fired a shot.

Quentin fell backward with a bloody hole right in the middle of his forehead. His eyes were still widened as he died, as though he could not believe he would die under Nathan's hands.
