Salute To The General
Chapter 2394

Raphael, dressed in white, shut his eyes while fishing at a pond at the back of the mountain when he suddenly heard Ash's rapid footsteps rushing toward him. "There's trouble at the gates, Mr. Norris! Big trouble!"

With his eyes only half-open, Raphael instructed calmly, "Take a deep breath to calm down, Ash. Nobody wants their butler running around like a headless chicken. So what is it?" Drenched in sweat, the butler replied, "Nathan is here, Mr. Norris. Not only did he injure our gatekeepers, but he also destroyed our gate."

What? Both surprised and angered at the same time, Raphael widened his eyes.

As one of the five Reclusive Families in Eurasia, the Norrises would shut themselves off from the outside world whenever they were not needed. That was why their gate had to remain closed at all times.

Even the Norrises themselves only used the side door to enter or leave the residence.

Naturally, it shocked Raphael when he was told that Nathan had wrecked the gate.

"So he thinks he can invade our property and get away with it? I don't think so!"

With that, Raphael furiously whipped the surface of the pond with his fishing rod and created titanic waves.

Boom!

When the waves finally settled, hundreds of dead fish were seen floating up to the top.

Ash could feel a shiver running down his spine when he saw just how enraged Raphael was.

He remembered seeing the Patriarch that angry thirty years ago.

Back then, Raphael got so furious that he marched down Mount Rhea to tight Lorenz, an overlord of the West.

Bodies were strewn everywhere after Raphael alone butchered Lorenz and three thousand of the man's followers.

After that, none dared to speak ill of Raphael, much less cross him.

However, the Patriarch's fearsome past did not seem to affect Nathan.

"Now that Nathan has provoked the Patriarch, this isn't going to end well for him," muttered Ash to himself.

"Sound the alarm, Ash. I want every Norris to watch as I murder Nathan in front of them," ordered Raphael solemnly.

"Yes, Mr. Norris!"

Before long, the sound of the alarm reverberated throughout the Norris residence.

Everyone, including those busy training, patrolling, doing chores, or slacking off, was taken aback because they knew what the sound meant.

Immediately, they put down whatever they were doing in order to gather in the shortest time possible.

Meditating in separate stone caves at the back of Mount Rhea were seventy-two Cavemasters who instantly opened their eyes when they heard the alarm.

Like everyone else at the residence, they were aware of the significance of the situation, so they hurriedly left their caves.

Meanwhile, coming from an exquisite courtyard at the residence was a rather handsome man on his way to the gathering spot with several bodyguards beside him.

That man was none other than Raphael's eldest grandson, Bryson Norris.

He was as shocked as he was annoyed that Nathan actually showed up to get him. "And here I thought I could finally have a moment of peace after that madwoman died. I guess Nathan has other ideas. What does it have to do with him anyway? I mean, not even the Windsors have said anything about it."

"Don't worry, Mr. Bryson. I heard that Nathan only brought one companion. Not only do we ridiculously outnumber him, but we also have the Cavemasters and Mr. Norris himself. Nathan is already dead the moment he stepped inside," assured one of Bryson's men. "Come, we've got one hell of a show waiting for us," uttered Bryson with an insidious smile.
