Leroy panicked. Leroy barred Sage's path once more. The former gritted his teeth before pointing out. "General Tomlinson, there is nothing I can say if you insist on taking these men away. However, Nathan Cross has undeniably hurt me. How will you settle this matter? Nathan is a soldier, so ordinary police officers can't deal with him. You, on the other hand, can't ignore it. Sage frowned.

That slap was even heavier than the one Nathan had delivered earlier.

It caused Leroy to spit blood and sent a few of his teeth flying.

Infuriated, Sage roared, "First of all, your brother's promotion is not official, so he is not the Assistant Chief Military Governor yet. Secondly, it won't matter even if everything is official. I will still be serving under the Chief Military Governor, and you have no power over me. If you ever disrespect me or speak to me in that tone again, I will shoot you!"
