Salute To The General
Chapter 2710

For the next few days, according to customs, Nathan started visiting the major states in the country.

However, as the man was used to keeping a low profile, he had given orders not to make it a grand affair and not to cause any disturbance to the citizens.

In fact, Nathan was planning to go under the disguise of an ordinary citizen and mingle among the crowd in order to get a more accurate picture of a civilian's life.

The first stop of his inspection tour

was the North.

Even though Nathan was not from the North, he had served in the military there and that was also where he had started rising to power. Besides, many of his old subordinates were still there. The North was just like the man's second home and would always have a special place in his heart.

Also, the North was not faring well in terms of its economy as compared to the other states.

As such, Nathan had decided that the first stop would be the North.

The President's trip to the North only lasted three days as nothing eventful happened.

Next, Nathan arrived at the East.

As the East was the man's hometown, he had fond feelings for the area as well.

The East was much more prosperous than the North.

However, that night, when Nathan, Penny, Colin, Ava, and the Elite Eight were shopping along the streets of Jinrich, a city in the East, something unpleasant happened.

It all started when Nathan and the others noticed a street that was especially bustling.

As they had assumed that it was just a cultural street that was popular among the locals, they headed over to check it out.

After entering the street, the group realized that it was a Jetroinian cultural street.

The shops on both sides of the street were all designed in Jetroinian style. The people walking along the streets were also dressed in Jetroinian traditional costumes. Looking at the scene in front of him, Nathan furrowed his brows. Penny knew that, as a soldier, Nathan did not like Jetroina.

As such, she said softly, "Oh, this seems like ajetroinian cultural street. I don't think there is anything interesting to see here. Let's go somewhere else." Nathan nodded and was about to leave with the others when a middle-aged man with a bulging tummy stepped in front of them, blocking their way. The middle-aged man, who was accompanied by more than ten of his subordinates, glared at Nathan and cursed angrily, "Who are you f*ckers? Are you here to create trouble? My name is Big Bull. Don't blame me for not warning you. If you don't get lost right now, I'll break your legs!"

The expressions of Colin, Ava, and the Elite Eight turned cold immediately when they heard that.

Even Penny could not help but frown.

Nathan, however, remained calm as he sized Big Bull up before glancing at the group of men behind him who were dressed fancifully as Jetroinian warriors.

"Why did you claim that we are here to create trouble? And who are you to tell us to leave?" Nathan asked placidly. "Who are you to threaten to break our legs?"

Big Bull sneered, "Who am I? Well, listen, you. My boss is Bentley Jabbar. He is also the owner of this cultural street. That means you're currently in our territory. As for how I know that you guys are here to create trouble..."

Big Bull paused to scrutinize Nathan, who was dressed in traditional garb. "Isn't it obvious? This is a Jetroinian cultural street. Everyone who comes here is either dressed in Jetroinian traditional costumes or cosplay outfits. But look at what you're wearing. A traditional garb? Who do you think you are? If you're not here to show off, you must be here to create trouble. You should forget about doing any of that, you little sh*t. Remove this outfit of yours immediately and scram! Do you hear me?"

Upon hearing the man's words, Nathan was rather stunned.

It turned out that he was asked to leave the street because of his attire.

"This is Eurasia. What's wrong with me wearing traditional garb?" Nathan asked coldly. "Also, do you not know who I am?"

Big Bull took a closer look at Nathan and let out a chuckle. "Haha, I don't care where you're from. I don't know you. I will not allow you to appear on our street wearing this ridiculous outfit of yours! You have two options right now: remove your clothes and get lost or my men will help you with that. That will teach you a good lesson!"

Right after Big Bull finished speaking, Colin, who could not bear it any longer, bellowed furiously, "Insolent!"

Then he stepped forward at lightning speed and slapped Big Bull across his face. The impact was so strong that Big Bull was sent flying away.

"Big Bull, Big Bull, are you all right?"

The man's subordinate rushed up at once and helped him up.

Big Bull covered his swollen face with one hand and thundered, "Why are you guys holding me? Kill these bast*rds who are here to cause trouble!" "Yes, Sir!" Big Bull's subordinates answered in unison before charging toward Nathan and his group.

Enduring the searing pain on his face, Big Bull took out his phone and called his boss. "Mr. Jabbar, something's happened. Someone is causing trouble on our cultural street! We are at the entrance of the street right now.

Please bring some men over..."
