Salute To The General
Chapter 2736

Torn by his choices, Moab fell into deep thought.

Since the werewolves had enraged Gammon, there was little chance of survival if they continued to stay in Remdik.

As a result, the option to move to Ariarica was indeed an attractive proposition.

Gritting his teeth, Moab finally came to a decision.

Looking at Max, he replied in a deep voice, "Fine, I agree with our collaboration. The Shadow Fang tribe will help you dispose of Nathan. In return, you will grant us permission to establish a new home in Ariarica. We will be ready to do our duty whenever the nation calls for it."

Max answered approvingly, "Very good, Moab. You have made the right choice. May we have a wonderful partnership ahead of us."

He extended his hand toward Moab as he spoke.

Moab reciprocated with his wrinkled hand and shook Max's hand.

The moment they got a grip on each other's hand, Max narrowed his eyes and squeezed discreetly, sending a massive surge of power into Moab's hand that seemed to be capable of shattering it.

With a glint in his eye, Moab, too, unleashed a torrent of energy to counter Max.

Despite the simple handshake, an intense battle for supremacy was going on behind the scenes.

In truth, Max was testing Moab to see if the latter was powerful enough to kill Nathan.

As for Moab, he, too, intended to showcase his strength to Max.

In the midst of their struggle, cracks could be heard from beneath their feet. Hairline cracks had begun to show on the seemingly unbreakable rock they were standing on.

Max's nonchalant expression had been replaced with one that was exceptionally solemn.

With his eyes brimming with murderous intent, he growled, "Ha!"

All of a sudden, a gargantuan surge of energy shot through his wrist toward Moab, whose eyes narrowed in response.

Meanwhile, two Shamans beside Moab, who were worried about him, began chanting a spell.

Amidst the Shamans' chants, Moab's eyes suddenly turned red as a crimson mist began to envelop his body. Not only did his aura grow more powerful, but his combat ability increased significantly too. Put on the defensive initially by Max, Moab began to turn the tide around.

Boom!

The moment Moab raised his hand, Max was sent backpedaling for eight to nine steps, leaving deep footprints on the ground.

The impact left Max in shock, for his combat prowess had achieved the pinnacle of what a human was capable of.

In fact, he had never lost a battle before, earning him the title of an undefeated general.

The fact that he was thrown back by an Elder of the werewolves was indicative of how strong the latter was.

As a result, he was convinced that Moab had the capability of killing Nathan.

Instead of feeling furious over being pushed back by Moab, Max cracked a vibrant smile. "Haha, Moab, I'm in awe of your tremendous power. And now I wait with anticipation for the day you take Nathan Cross' head."

Moab replied calmly, "Admiral Max, the Shadow Fang tribe is one of the ten major werewolf tribes where brave warriors are aplenty. As long as you arrange a suitable time and place, we will not have any problems bringing you Nathan Cross' head." Max answered with a delightful grin, "Perfect. I'll make the arrangements and leave the rest to you."

Max and Shadow Fang finally came to an agreement.

Meanwhile, having ended their visit to Remdik, Nathan, together with his wife and the Eurasian delegates, boarded their private jet.

Under the eyes of Gammon and countless Remdikians, the jet soared into the sky before disappearing into the sky.

Subsequently, Nathan proceeded to the second country on his diplomatic tour-Valmora.
