Salute To The General -
Chapter 2800
Even though the werewolves and vampires were arch-enemies that could never see eye-to-eye-so much so that slaughtering one another was run-of-the-mill- the werewolves had to grudgingly admit the vampires' had powerful capabilities. In fact, the overall strength of
a vampire was even above that of a werewolf.
After all, vampires had long life spans.
They could easily live up to centuries. With such a long life, naturally, they had more than sufficient time to strengthen their abilities.
Under usual circumstances, a vampire warrior could withstand attacks from three werewolf warriors.
A vampire prince could fight with three or more werewolf elders at once.
In most cases, werewolves were the ones on the losing end when their opponents were vampires.
At that moment, Moab and the other werewolves didn't know whether they should be elated or depressed at Nathan's blatant disregard for the vampires.
Moab glared at Nathan. "Nathan, I admit you're the strongest human I've ever met. Maybe even Max's combat power can't compare to yours. Either way, one of us will have to die tonight. Let's put an end to this!"
Nathan narrowed his eyes at Moab. "Fine with me!"
Moab took in a deep breath and crouched down slightly to gather his energy.
As Moab began to accumulate his power, the air surrounding him started to distort, and an aura of destruction radiated from him, shrouding the entire ship.
Not only did the humans sense the lethal aura, but even the werewolves were panicking.
Colin reminded the Elite Eight, "This guy is planning to fight with his life on the line. Everyone retreat as far as you can! Be on your guard!"
Jurgis and his subordinates were shaking like a leaf.
Meanwhile, the werewolf warriors began to fidget from uneasiness like how dogs would whine and tuck their tails in between their trembling legs before disaster struck. Everyone could see Moab was planning to unleash his ace in the hole.
Nathan watched as Moab amassed his power, preparing to unleash his strongest attack yet.
Nathan called, "Colin, throw me the sword."
Without a moment of hesitation, Colin immediately flung The Unsullied to him.
Nathan grabbed the hilt of the sword and stood with his head held high. He pointed his sword toward the ground and yelled, "Let's fight!"
Moab had already finished gathering his energy and straightened to his full height. He let out a howl.
Awoo!
Moab's thundering howl sent shockwaves in every direction.
In the next instant, Colin and the Elite Eight felt something heavy slam into them. They couldn't help but grunt as their faces contorted in agony.
Jurgis and his subordinates weren't as strong as Colin and the Elite Eight.
Hence, when the shockwave from Moab's howling hit Jurgis and his men, several of them started bleeding from their orifices and crumpled to the ground, dead.
Jurgis also spewed a mouthful of blood.
Every glass window on the ship shattered into a million shards.
The crew hiding within the cabin all had pained expressions.
Ava reacted immediately by quickly covering Penny's ears and pulling Penny into her arms. Her swift action spared Penny from sustaining too much damage from the shockwave. Once the shockwaves passed, Moab lunged toward Nathan with intense pressure. He opened up his arms, clasped his fingers together, and raised them over his head, preparing to deal Nathan a deadly blow when he slammed them down.
Before his arms could drop, Nathan had leaped into the air with lightning speed.
He aimed his sword at Moab's throat the moment he was in midair. His movement was swift like a gust of wind.
Swoosh!
The glint of the sword was gone in a flash, and Moab's head flew into the air in an arc, severed from the rest of his body.
The glow of the moon dimmed significantly the moment Nathan chopped off Moab's head. The pair of eye-like stars had disappeared as well. Thud!
Moab's headless corpse toppled onto the deck. His Celestial Law technique was nullified, and his body returned to its usual small build. Thump!
His head fell onto the deck and rolled to Nathan's feet.
The eyes on Moab's face were wide like saucers as though he couldn't believe Nathan had killed him with one slash of his sword. His expression was forever frozen. Nathan glanced down at Moab's head and stated, "You lost."
With that, he kicked the head into the sea.
