Salute To The General
Chapter 3096

While Raytor narrowed his eyes and looked at Max indifferently, he said, "Aren't there only thirteen princes? Since when there's one extra?"

Max flashed a smiled and replied, "In the past, there were indeed thirteen princes representing thirteen vampire clans. However, there's a new clan now with a new prince, and that's me." Raytor rejected his explanation right away. "I haven't heard of it!"

Max was not bothered. "That's okay. Soon, my clan shall be the largest, and I shall become the most famous vampire prince. By then, you won't hear the end of me."

Raytor chuckled. "Are you here to blow your own trumpet or to ask for a death wish?"

"Neither. I'm here to seek collaboration," replied Max placidly.

Raytor thought he had heard the biggest joke ever. "Collaboration? Haha! How is it possible that the almightyvampires would stoop so low to partner with us-the werewolves? This is seriously the most interesting suggestion I've heard in recent years.

The rest of the werewolves burst out laughing.

Then Max commented, "We're both from the dark clans. Neither of us is more noble nor lowly than the other. In my opinion, it's worthwhile to befriend the werewolves and work together."

Raytor as well as his men stared at Max in disbelief.

This vampire is an oddball! The regular vampires usually think very highly of themselves and look down on any living things, to the extent that they despise any clan members with a mixed background. Max is different. He's not as arrogant as the other vampires. He even said we could be friends. How bizarre!

The werewolves had long been receiving insults from the vampire, and they were so touched by Max's sincerity.

After all, the werewolves would never expect respect from the vampires, not even in their wildest dreams. Raytor was dubious. "Are you serious?"

Max guffawed and said, "Of course! Otherwise, why would I travel all the way here to meet you? I came as a friend seeking for partnership. Let's combine the forces of the dark clans and fight the human race. In fact, we should destroy them and become the new ruler of this world."

Fight the humans and wipe them out? Let the dark clans rise up and take over the world?

All the werewolves were dumbfounded, including Raytor.

The latter stared at Max with his eyes wide open for he found his idea too good to be true.

Raytor was shocked to the core. "Max, this is absurd and dangerous."

"Don't you want to change the environment you live in? Don't you want to take control and rule the world? Imagine us as kings and human beings bowing down to the dark clans. How wonderful!"

Raytor's heart skipped a beat when he pictured the blueprint Max illustrated.

The rest of the werewolves, too, breathed heavily as they were all excited by the idea.

Even though the Alpha Wolf yearned for the dark clans to lead the world, he was not someone who could be easily fooled by mere words.

It did not take him long to snap back to his senses. "I long for a world as described by you, but one can't easily defeat the humans. The Curia alone would exhaust all our means, what more the other countries, numerous armies, and countless elites. It's almost impossible to overthrow the human race and become the masters of this world."

"Well, everything is in our own hands. I have a great plan, and if the dark clans work together, the world is ours." Max let out a hearty laugh.

A complete plan?

Raytor found Max's confidence intriguing and asked curiously, "What kind of plan?"

Max glanced at him and responded ambiguously, "We haven't agreed on a collaboration, so I can't reveal it to you now. As soon as we're partners, I'll tell you everything." Raytor's expression darkened.

Before he could voice out his displeasure, Max added, "However, I can assist you in your revenge out of goodwill. Take it as a prelude to our full collaboration. If things go well between us, we can then form an alliance. It's never too late to consider the rise of the dark clans in conquering the world."

Raytor had plans to take revenge on Nathan.

He was elated to hear that Max was willing to lend him a hand. No matter how he thought about it, he had no reason to reject the offer.

He narrowed his eyes and pondered for two seconds. He then uttered without hesitation, "All right. I was going to send a troop to Aploth and take Nathan's life anyway. If you can assist me, I'll seriously consider allying and taking part in your great plan once Nathan dies."
