Salute To The General -
Chapter 3098
Colin had his guard up and looked in the direction where Nathan had his gaze fixed. "What's wrong, Mr. Cross?" he asked.
Meanwhile, Hepburn and the rest sensed something was amiss.
They, too, looked afar.
"I think some uninvited guests are here," Nathan said calmly.
The stunning and elegant Betty, who was just slightly over thirty years old, glanced at a dark corner in a distance and uttered, "Something smells foul."
Daveth narrowed his eyes as a murderous intent flashed across his handsome face. "There are more than one weredogs here."
Weredog?
Hepburn widened her big eyes. It's the werewolves!
Right then, multiple pairs of blue eyes appeared in a far dark corner.
There were at least tens of them.
Shortly after, an exceptional pair of sparkling blue eyes appeared.
That particular pair of eyes were bigger and sharper than the rest of the werewolves.
Soon, they saw a middle-aged man slowly walking out from the dark, seemingly someone from Adrune. He wore a pair of blue jeans, a black leather jacket, and leather boots. There was also a chain on his neck and wrist.
His eyes were extraordinarily huge, with faint blue rays coming out of them. He was like a devil who came straight from hell. Everything about him was terrifying.
Following behind him were tens of werewolves. Each of them had very unique features like the Adrunians.
The owner of the late-night food stall and his customers were scared out of their wits when they saw the mysterious figures show up.
"Where does this pack of crazy animals come from?" Hepburn asked coldly.
The man in a leather jacket withdrew his gaze from Nathan and focused on Hepburn. He was at first taken aback. A few seconds later, he chuckled. "Oh, isn't this Hepburn, the Holy Maiden? I didn't expect to see you here. Well, it's a good thing. Once I get rid of Nathan, you'll be my reward tonight."
A malicious intent glinted across Betty's eyes. "It's been a while since I've last met a stuck-up weredog."
Narrowing his eyes, Daveth ran his fingers across the hilt of his sword around the waist and asked indifferently, "Tell me your name, for I don't kill a nameless person."
"I'm Remus, the finest warrior of Alpha Wolf, who comes from Zehntausende Mountain Range where the largest werewolf clan resides," said the snobbish man in a leather jacket.
It turned out the elite werewolf was Raytor's most formidable subordinate.
With the support of Max, Remus managed to lead tens of warriors from the werewolf clan to travel across a vast region successfully to take revenge on Nathan. "Nathan, the Alpha Wolf sends his best regards. If you don't have any last words, hold your peace forever and go to hell." Remus' demeanor was intimidating. Nathan smirked. "I stepped on the vampires' toes not too long ago, and now I'm on the bad books of the werewolves?"
"Let me handle them, Mr. Cross," insisted Colin.
As soon as he was about to launch an attack on his opponents, Daveth and Betty took the lead and went before him.
"Colin, it's better for us from the Curia to teach them a lesson. Let us take care of this," said Daveth.
Betty agreed, "That's right. Getting rid of the bad apples is our responsibility. How dare these weredogs be so rude to Mr. Cross! We'll never let it slide."
Since Nathan would be joining them both to fight Max in Malarnor, he was interested in replaceing out more about their combat power.
It was the perfect opportunity to learn about the capabilities of his comrades.
He signaled Colin to step back so that he could witness how Daveth and Betty battle against the elite werewolves.
Upon experiencing how powerful the duo was, Remus instinctively made a scowl and gnashed his teeth ferociously. "Since you peeps from the Curia have a death wish, I don't mind giving you a hand." With that, chaos ensued as an intense battle broke out.
