Salute To The General
Chapter 3422 Baccio Personally Travels To Eurasia

Lyanna and Hepburn, who should have fled to Adrune, were surprisingly in a villa by the sea at Channing, Eurasia.

Lyanna handed Hepburn a cup of red liquid.

Hepburn firmly declined. "I don't kill people, nor do I drink human blood."

Lyanna clarified, "This blood bag was obtained from the hospital through legal means. I assure you that I did not harm anyone to acquire it. If I really did that, Mr. Cross himself would be the first one to ensure that I am held accountable."

Upon hearing that the blood was merely purchased from a hospital, Hepburn relaxed slightly. However, she still refused to take it. "Even so, I won't drink it."

Lyanna rolled her eyes. "Just like Mr. Cross, even after becoming a vampire, you refuse to live the vampire's way."

Hepburn remained noncommittal as she skillfully sliced through the medium-rare beef on her plate using her knife and fork. With a casual tone, she inquired, "Mr. Cross advised us to escape to a distant location, yet you have concealed me here. Aren't you concerned about the possibility of Mr. Cross discovering our whereabouts? Moreover, what is the precise reason for bringing me here and keeping me hidden?"

Lyanna said, "I'll be frank with you. Although Mr. Cross offered the vampires a means of survival by suggesting we retreat deep into the mountains and forests, enduring such harsh conditions has become increasingly unbearable. After careful deliberation among some of our vampire leaders, it was decided that I should come here, seeking an opportunity to persuade Mr. Cross to return and take command of the prevailing circumstances."

Hepburn said coldly, "I'm afraid your hopes are going to be dashed. Mr. Cross will not associate with you."

Lyanna took a sip of the fresh blood. "I understand your concern. The humans are unlikely to readily accept him. However, I have no intention of taking any action myself. I will simply observe from the sidelines. Should the humans push Mr. Cross into a corner, it may create an opening for us vampires. Naturally, I would then step forward and sincerely implore Mr. Cross to rejoin our ranks. Yet, if Mr. Cross chooses to coexist peacefully with humans, it could dash the hopes of several vampire princes."

Hepburn furrowed her brows. "You want me to stay here and watch how things unfold with you?"

Lyanna laughed. "You like Mr. Cross, right? Here, you can still catch a glimpse of him from afar. Isn't that better than leaving him behind?"

Hepburn's pretty face turned slightly red.

Instead of answering the question, she simply stated, "I'm missing, so the Curia will definitely send someone to investigate it. I'm afraid I might cause trouble for Mr. Cross if I were to stay here."

Lyanna raised a valid point. "Even in your absence, do you truly believe that the Curia would refrain from troubling Mr. Cross? Haven't they caused him enough turmoil already?" Hepburn was speechless.

She's right Even in my absence, the

Curia will undoubtedly persist in probing

into Mr. Cross's past. By

remaining here, I may be able to

provide assistance.

They had no idea that the Curia's private jet had already arrived at Eurasia.

The leader of the Curia's Ten Elders, Baccio, led the others along with the Top Three Shadow Guards.

It could be said that the Curia had employed its aces to investigate Hepburn's whereabouts.

The news of Baccio leading the team quickly reached Nathan's ears.

Colin asked Nathan politely, "Mr. Cross, Baccio has arrived. Would you like to meet him?"

Nathan no longer held the people of the Curia in high regard, so he said indifferently, "I met with Hepburn before because she is my friend. However, Baccio has not yet earned the privilege of meeting with me. Inform the appropriate department to extend him a welcome

Colin replied, "Yes!"

He was about to leave when Nathan suddenly called out to him, "Wait."

Colin turned his head. "Mr. Cross, is there anything else?"

Nathan said, "Keep an eye on Baccio and his group, and don't let them cause trouble."

Colin responded, "Got it!"

At the airport, Baccio stepped out with his entourage and got into a line of luxury cars parked by the road.

One of the subordinates said to Baccio, "Elder Baccio, it seems Nathan has no intention of meeting us. I suspect he's deliberately avoiding us."

Baccio said calmly, "There's no rush.

First, let's replace Hepburn's

whereabouts. When I came, I used my divination skills and discovered she was still in Eurasia, Aploth. She's approximately in the South. Once we replace Hepburn, many questions will be answered."
