Salute To The General -
Chapter 3467 Do Not Underestimate The Earthlings
Aboard the Phoenix Spaceship, Gryffen, the Swordmaster of the Divine Realm, was shrouded entirely in a black cloak edged with gold and adorned with mysterious symbols. He was meditating with his sword in his arms.
Suddenly, a woman with a slender figure but a vicious looking face walked over.
"We have entered the solar system, Lord Gryffen, and are about to reach Earth."
Shrouded in his black cloak, Gryffen suddenly opened his eyes, which emitted a bewitching blue glow.
"Have we pinpointed the exact locations of our three Demigods?" he asked slowly.
"All of ours have our specific locators implanted in their bodies," Mila answered. "Once our spacecraft enters the solar system, we will detect the signal from their locators. We have locked in on the coordinates of all three, but..." "But what?" Gryffen asked.
"Their coordinates are surprisingly inconsistent," Mila replied.
"The sun shines over the land of Eurasia on Earth, and the moon illuminates the territory of Ariarica. As for the stars, they reveal themselves in the realm of Remdik." Gryffen said slowly. "It seems that Nathan has revealed the secret of our Demigods to the other earthlings. Now, nations around the world are conducting their own research on our Demigods."
Mila was livid. "Earth is nothing more than a dump to us, and its inhabitants are the filthy creatures that dwell within it. They are only fit to be bred by the vampires, who are considered prey to us. Yet, these earthlings, insignificant as insects, dare capture our Demigods. They even have the audacity to conduct research on them. It is an act of insult that is simply unforgivable."
Gryffen remained calm. "We
discovered Earth over a thousand
years ago when we were hunting the surviving vampires. Back then, Earth was still quite primitive. However, the reproductive capacity of earthlings and their rapid
civilizational evolution is truly
astonishing. In just a short sel
of a thousand years, they have become unrecognizable as compared to their past selves. Though their technology and individual combat abilities are still greatly inferior to ours in the Divine Realm, we shouldn't underestimate them. The capture of three of our Demigods by humans on Earth is enough to prove that they are no longer the weaklings we remember. Unnoticed by us, they have become stronger."
Mila, however, remained indignant. "I don't care how advanced earthlings become. They are still inferior beings. They will never have the right to challenge us Gods. Three of our Demigods had met with an accident on Earth because of the new vampire king, Nathan."
"The vampires once incited a rebellion in our Divine Realm. Though they are our prey, we have to admit that they pose a certain threat to us. There will be occasional casualties in the war between the
Gods and the vampires. It's
expected for these three Demigods to run into trouble from their
encounter with the vampire king,
Nathan."
At the mention of Nathan's name, Gryffen fell into deep thought.
Before he had set off, the God King had instructed him to put Nathan to the test during the rescue mission of the three Demigods from Earth.
It was to ascertain if Nathan could subdued.
If the task proved impossible, he was to kill Nathan and instate a new vampire king to take over.
Suddenly, however, another thought occurred to him.
If Nathan proves too formidable, if he is one of those rare talents who could potentially threaten the Gods, he must be eliminated even if he promises to behave. All threats to the Gods must be nipped in the bud. Noticing Gryffen's noncommittal response, Mila did not dare to voice her opinion. Instead, she asked cautiously, "Who should we rescue first, Swordmaster?"
Gryffen gave a start. "We'll head to Ariarica and Remdik first, then to Eurasia," he announced calmly. "After securing our people, I look forward to a proper meeting with Nathan, the king of the vampires." "Yes, Swordmaster," Mila replied at once.
