He fell silent for a moment, then continued, "All right, let's not talk about this mysterious Morgon for now. The second question is, how did you gain the recognition of the vampire clan and how did you recruit mysterious and powerful members like Shadowbeard and Sinistral under your command?"

Hepburn spoke. "Once I become stronger, I returned to the vampire clan with Lyanna. Lyanna persuaded Max and the other princes to obey me and regard me as their queen. As for Shadowbeard and the others, they came to me willingly. They call themselves the primordial vampires, living in seclusion all this while. Upon learning that the vampires now face a life-and-death predicament, they have come forward to lend their aid and weather this storm together with the rest of the clan." Primordial vampires?

Nathan's doubts deepened even more.

To his knowledge, the vampires did not originally inhabit the Earth. They only sought refuge here when they were being hunted down by the Gods.
