Chapter 262

Matt’s lips curled into a smirk and said, “Be careful then. Or else, you’ll lose everything you havetonight.”

Right then, Rachel dropped a bank card into Millie’s box, declaring, “My money’s on her, ten timesthe bet.”

Matt froze momentarily. But soon, he rolled his eyes and remarked, “I’ll never understand what goesthrough the minds of rich people. Oh, well, more easy money for the club!”

“Hey,” Rachel called out angrily. “You’re not going to back out on us if red wins, right?”

Matt rolled his eyes again. The club always honored its bets. They weren’t running a shadybusiness, after

all.

“Let’s talk after she wins.” Matt’s tone dripped with disdain.

The others present laughed along.

Someone commented, “Can you believe someone is actually foolish enough to bet on red to win?”

“Exactly. I guess they have more money than brains.”

Marvin and Rachel exchanged a glance. Suddenly, someone shouted, “Look! They’re at the startingline.”

There, Millie picked up her helmet before looking at Quincy.

Python Mountain boasted the most challenging route. Only those truly skilled dared to take on itsthrills.

Millie had a rough idea about Quincy’s capabilities, but he had no clue about hers. As he watchedMillie’s long legs slide into the car, a sense of unease crept over him.

“Quincy, all the best!” Matt hollered from the peak, his voice echoing through Python Mountain.

When Quincy glanced up, he saw Matt waving the club’s flag high, yelling, “Give it your all!”

Everyone soon joined in to cheer Quincy on. Right away, his confidence surged. Millie was just awoman, so what did he have to fear?

Besides, he had raced this route countless times and always came in first. He wasn’t afraid at all!

With that in mind, Quincy took one last look at Millie, put on his helmet, and got into his car.

In the other car, Millie patted the steering wheel. It was a modified supercar, and it looked prettygood.

She had to borrow one since she didn’t have her own car. Judging from the driver’s demeanor, it

appeared to be a professional racer’s vehicle.

In front of them stood a flag girl.

“Would you like a test drive?” she asked Millie.

Millie shook her head and answered, “There’s no need for that.”

Quincy lowered the car window and turned to Millie. “You might as well give it a test drive.Otherwise, don’t accuse me of bullying you.”

He was driving his usual car while Millie had borrowed one. If she tried to argue later that herunfamiliarity with the car affected the outcome, he wouldn’t replace his victory as satisfying.

“No need,” Millie replied firmly.

With sports cars, there were only so many different driving feels.

Quincy frowned as he struggled to understand Millie. He couldn’t help but wonder if she was trulycapable or just putting on a show.

Unable to make sense of it after some thought, Quincy rolled up the car window.

Millie fastened her seatbelt, waiting for the race to commence.

The energy at Python Mountain soared in an instant, and everyone was caught up in theexcitement. In reality, what fascinated them wasn’t the race but the prospect that the loser wouldhave to chop off their finger.

Cheers echoed through the forest, spreading across the winding paths of Python Mountain.

A Bugatti Veyron pulled up at the venue. Two men in caps and casual attire stepped out of the car.

The crowd cast a quick look at them but paid no further attention and continued to watch below.

Jake shook his wrist, then placed his hands in his pockets. As he surveyed the bustling crowd, heasked, ” Why is it so lively today?”

Winston walked in front and stood at a high vantage point. His gaze moved downward, and he sawtwo cars preparing to race.

Only two cars? Wasn’t this supposed to be a huge event?

Jake, too, was puzzled. So, he asked the man beside him, “Who are they?”

The man chuckled. “Today’s race is interesting. It’s a woman against WK Club’s street racingchampion, Quincy Sanders!”

Winston raised an eyebrow upon hearing that. A woman?

“A woman?” Jake’s interest was piqued as well.

The man nodded. “I heard it’s…”
