Chapter 65
Victoria was dragged into the room.
She gazed at the man’s frigid back and couldn’t help but utter, “Matthew, take it easy…”
Still wearing her high heels, she jogged to catch up with him. As a sharp pain shot through her wrist, he held her tightly.
Matthew seemed to have not heard her words and quickened his pace.
Just from his back, one could sense the oppressive hostility in the air.
Victoria realized it was wise not to provoke him at this time.
Bang–
Victoria was ushered into the room and the door shut firmly.
The moment she looked up, he kissed her, before she could utter a word.
“Oh…”
Victoria had no opportunity to utter a single word as the overpowering patchouli scent engulfed her. She attempted to push the man away by placing her hand on his chest, yet her wrist was seized and twisted behind her back.
“Mathew…”
Perhaps he was displeased with her inattention, so the man directly kissed her lips. “Victoria, who gave you permission to go to that kind of place?”
His breath was heavy with obvious anger.
Victoria realized that his seeming indifference outside just now had been feigned.
“I just came out to chill. I didn’t do anything too wild…”
She didn’t want to provoke him, so she explained, “I just encountered those people.”
“You just met, and they’re already so eager to stand up for you?”
“Victoria, you really know how to cause me grief,” Matthew gritted his teeth as he bit down on his lower lip.
Victoria cried out in pain, her tears almost spilling out, yet somehow resisting him.
However, Matthew would not let her conceal herself. He pinched her chin and made her look up at him. “That lad was smitten with you the moment he saw you, wasn’t he?”
Tears sprang to her eyes. Victoria shook her head. “This isn’t my doing. I can’t influence it…”
“Isn’t it you who doesn’t want to take charge?”
“Victoria, I thought you’d show some restraint. I didn’t anticipate you being so cutting. Seeing as you’re so fond of fishing for money, who are you trying to fool by acting so virtuous?” Matthew sneered.
Victoria raised her head abruptly, gazing at him incredulously.
After a lengthy period of time, she was unable to utter a single word.
She now grasped that when someone doesn’t love you, nothing you say or do is right.
She wiped the tears from her face and smirked. “Matthew, didn’t you say you don’t love me anymore? So why are you mad that other guys are interested in me? You’re just making me think you’re jealous…”
After she had finished speaking, the man’s face immediately dropped.
“Did I say it correctly?” Victoria smiled and looked at him.
“Ah!” Before she could finish, she was suddenly thrown onto the bed with great force.
Before she could respond, Matthew had already enveloped her in his embrace.
“Victoria, it appears that you have not taken your lesson to heart.”
Matthew pulled the tie on his collar away, and then directly tied her wrist as she struggled.
Victoria had a sinking feeling in her heart. She shriveled back, but only bumped into the head of the bed. “Matthew, what do you want to do…”
“Don’t you know what my intention is?”
“Victoria,” the man said, raising her face, his eyes deep and indifferent, “endure the pain later.”
As he spoke, he pulled open her shirt with his hand.

The force was so immense that it nearly overwhelmed Victoria.
She was bound to the head of the bed, struggling with all her might.
The more she rejected him, the more Matthew’s anger flared.
“Where did that child just touch you?”
He pinched her neck and said in a menacing tone, “Here… here…”
“… or here?”
