Sir, Let’s Divorce by Victoria Nelson Chapter 66
Chapter 66
Chapter 66
Victoria stubbornly turned her head away, her teeth clenched tightly together, refusing to utter a word.
Matthew was furious, he wanted her to shout out.
“Matthew!” Victoria glared at him angrily.
The man bowed his head and planted a kiss on her cheeks. He murmured, “Why do you always have to be so disobedient…
Victoria was taken aback by his sudden tenderness.
She couldn’t help but recall their first time together, when he was so gentle, almost as if he was afraid she would break.
It was his first time, yet he acted like a seasoned pro. He would constantly whisper in her car, asking her patiently if she was feeling uncomfortable….
Matthew’s dissatisfaction due to her distraction caused him to lower his head and take a bite on her collarbone.
The sharp pain shattered Victoria’s memories. As she gazed at the man before her, an unfamiliar feeling suddenly came over
her.
“Matthew, did you do that intentionally just now?”
She had never uttered it, yet she could sense it.
When playing with Sarah, he crushed her in terms of technique, yet he deliberately revealed a flaw to make Victoria believe they had a chance to win, thus inducing them to accept the bet.
Matthew lowered his head, the tip of his nose against hers, and his voice was hoarse with emotion. “You only realize it now? How foolish!”
“When you were playing with Zion, were you intentionally trying to get him worked up?” Victoria pursed her lips.
“It is evident that his self–restraint is inadequate and he was easily provoked.”
Matthew’s tone was full of contempt, and there was also a hint of undetectable malice. “Victoria, you have trailed me before. How can you be so taken with such a little tyke?”
“Everyone has times when they are young… Hiss…”
As Victoria spoke for Zion, Matthew bit the corner of her mouth.
She savored the blood in her mouth.
It hurts…
So painful…
Victoria’s tears streamed down her face as her sobs trembled.
Matthew paused briefly, his hand unconsciously rising to brush away Victoria’s tears.
When he met her gaze, however, his weak, soft heart became an irritating lingering sensation.
He flipped her onto her stomach and pressed her face into the pillow.
Everything Victoria had was buried.
Only then did he replace a hint of solace in his heart.
In the private room.
Victoria being taken away by Matthew left the rest of the people with no inclination to continue playing.
Brad walked up to Sarah and tapped his nose. “Hey sis, what’re we up to now?”
“What should I do? Don’t be an eyesore to me!” Sarah was very irritated.
“Brad thought her anger was a bit too much. “This can’t be blamed on us, can it? Who would’ve guessed that Matthew, the president of such a big corporation, was so skilled at playing billiards?”
“You!”
Sarah was spot–on, but felt she couldn’t counter his words. She could only turn away, “… Forget it, forget it. All of you go! *
Upon hearing this, the teenagers bustled away.
Only Zion remained standing in its original location.
He looked as if he had been struck. He wined his face. “… I apologize.”

“You ought to let Victoria know this!”
Zion ceased speaking, his face contorted in anguish.
The more Sarah pondered it, the more incensed she grew. “Why didn’t you heed Victoria? You had a real shot at victory.
then…”
“I’m just as perplexed as you. It’s almost as if I’m being driven by some kind of feeling… All I want is to come out on top” Now that he reflected on it, Zion realized something was amiss. “At that moment, I couldn’t focus on anything else. I just wanted to finish the game. I hadn’t anticipated…”
Sarah was angry. “Then Victoria has been telling you to take it easy! Why don’t you heed her advice?”
“Sorry…”
Zion grumbled, “I acted without thinking.
