"I'm really sorry, Dr. Jefferson," Tyrael piped up in embarrassment after seeing the luxurious gifts Maggie and Stefan had presented. "I do have a few antiques, but none of them are with me now. I..." "Don't compete with them, Dr. Skyworth," Alex smiled as he waved his hands. "The herbs that you gave me that day are priceless. I should be the one to thank you."

"As long as you think it's useful, I'll send them to you if I were to come across any medicine of such quality in the future, Dr. Jefferson," Tyrael beamed.

Alex nodded. "Sure. And I'll keep you in mind whenever I make my pills."

"Thank you very much, Dr. Jefferson," said Tyrael quickly.

Alex looked at the car key, then the key to the hilltop villa. "Please don't gift me with such fancy things in the future," he said with a smile. “But I'd appreciate it if you'd spend that money on getting me the best herbs."

Maggie and Stefan nodded hastily, while Stefan said, "Don't worry, Mr. Jefferson. My father-in-law is engaged in the herbs business. I'll ask him to watch out and save the best herbs for me and I'll make sure to offer him a good price for it."

"Mr. Jefferson, I'll be sure to place the highest bid the next time someone auctions a high-quality herb," Maggie added.

Alex nodded. They are not short of money, anyway. It doesn't matter if I get their help in replaceing me the best herbs. I'll just repay them by giving them more good medicine when the time comes.

"All right. Let's eat," Alex announced before turning to the waiter. "Replace the dishes with warm ones."

"Come, let's drink." Alex raised his glass and signaled for a toast.

"Mr. Jefferson, let's collect the car at the auto show tomorrow," Maggie suddenly said after emptying her glass in one gulp.

Upon giving it some thought, Alex nodded and said, "Okay, just give me a call by then. I'll go if I'm not busy."

"Okay," Maggie said with excitement.

Autumn was a little envious when she saw that Alex was going to accompany Maggie to the auto show. She was going to invite him to visit the villa together, but she gave up the idea when she saw her father shake his head.

Shortly after, the dishes had been replaced. Everyone ate and drink to their heart's content before they left.
