Chapter 468 Anticipation
After the meal, Maggie went back to Lumenopolis on her private plane.
She wanted to send the Pill of Longevity and Pill of Vitality back as soon as possible.

On the private plane, Maggie decided to keep one of the four Pills of Longevity that Alex had given her for herself.
I've seen the magical efficacy of the Pill of Longevity with my own eyes. It's an pill that could save my life at critical times. I should keep one for myself in case I get into any trouble or accident. It will be a lifesaver.
One is enough to cure Grandpa's disease, so it's up to him to deal with the remaining two. I mean, this thing is too precious. It's normal to be a little selfish, right? Grandpa can't finish it anyway.
Holding that thought and feeling no pressure, Maggie took one Pill of Longevity from the bottle and kept it in her purse.
Two hours later, Maggie arrived in Lumenopolis.
Seeing the return of his granddaughter, Richard, who was half-lying on the couch, had his eyes brightened and spirits lifted.
The last time Alex saved him, his body system was still not improved, so he looked pale and sick. However, as he was a martial artist, he seemed sharp for a sick patient.
In reality, he himself knew his condition best.
Although he could still walk, he had exhausted himself too much and one screw-up would put his life at risk.
Hence, he had pinned all his hope on Alex, hoping he could develop a Pill of Longevity for real to prolong his life.
No one wished to die if there was a chance to live, even if they were seventy or eighty years old.
"Maggie, has Mr. Jefferson developed the Pill of Longevity?" Richard asked with great enthusiasm as he sat up straight.
Maggie quickly went to help Richard up and said, "Yeah, he's done it, grandpa. Mr. Jefferson was generous enough to give us three Pills of Longevity. He also said that one is enough to cure your disease and that it'll also increase your life expectancy by ten years."
"Really? Give it to me, quick!" Richard said.
Maggie nodded, then took out the bottle and gave it to Richard.
Richard accepted and opened it, and was immediately attracted by the strong medical fragrance of the Pill of Longevity.
He could hardly wait. He was about to pop one pill into his mouth when Maggie stopped him at once, "Grandpa, Mr. Jefferson said that the Pill of Longevity is too strong and your body won't be able to withstand the medicinal properties of one full pill. You can only take half a pill and then the other half can only be taken after a month."
"Okay, okay, I'll listen to Mr. Jefferson's instruction," Richard smiled and had Maggie help him break the

As Maggie went to work on breaking the pill, Richard asked, "Right, did Tyrael Skyworth also take the Pill of Longevity?"
"Yeah, Dr. Skyworth did," Maggie replied.
"How was it?" Richard asked.
Remembering that amazing moment when Tyrael took the pill, Maggie said, "Dr. Skyworth took half a pill as well, and the medicine took effect in just a few seconds. And in a few minutes, his recurring disease was completely healed. It was simply a miracle."
"Really?" Richard grew so excited that his speech slurred. "If it's really that amazing... Quick! Cut it in half and give it to me now!"
The servant at his side immediately brought him a glass of water. Louis and Deckard had also rushed over.
"Maggie, did Mr. Jefferson really cook up a pill?" Deckard asked as soon as he entered.
"Yeah," Maggie replied as she gave half of the Pill of Longevity to Richard.
Richard accepted the pill and threw it into his mouth, where it melted straight away without the help of
water.
"Have some water, sir." The servant placed a glass of water in front of Richard.
"It's okay. It's already melted," Richard said with a wave of his hand and quietly waited for the pill to take effect.
Deckard and Louis looked at Richard in anticipation of the miracle.
