Leo teased, "You always say I'm not affectionate enough. Do I look like some thug to you, always getting handsy?"

Anya shook her head, murmuring softly, "But usually, you don't seem to like it much."

Leo demanded, "Louder."

Anya shook her head again, staying silent.

After giving his girlfriend a bit of a scare, Leo started to grill her about what was bothering him, "Tell me about Bill. How did you meet? How often do you talk? How's he doing in his studies? And earlier, you bypassed so many people just to ask another guy a question. Who is he? What's your relationship with him? He looks pretty dull. And there were two other guys there, sitting diagonally across from you, looking quite plain. What's their story? Why were they sitting across from you? And another one, you called him class president, he organized the study session, why did he call on you? Are you two close? I don't remember you mentioning them to me."

Despite being there for only a few minutes, Leo had a knack for remembering faces.

Anya stayed quiet.

"Speak up," Leo leaned back in his chair, watching Anya, starting his interrogation.

Anya carefully asked, "Chad, can you imagine how it feels when Henry talks, and all I hear is buzzing in my ears?"

Quick to respond, Leo retorted, "Of course, Henry's babbling, drooling mouth makes anyone's brain buzz. Wait a minute, why bring up that chubby kid?"

Anya nodded, "Because what you just said made my head buzz."

Realizing Anya was indirectly complaining, Leo lightly tapped her head.

Anya pouted, covering her head, frowning, "You asked too many questions, I can't remember them all."

"One at a time!" Leo insisted, known for his good memory. "Start with Bill."

"He's just a classmate. There was no seat left during our study session, so he sat next to me. I didn't remember his name, which was awkward. Then he sent me a friend request, and I couldn't just reject it." After explaining, Anya suddenly realized something, "Chad, you're jealous!"

Leo denied, "...No, I'm not!"

"You are jealous! If you weren't, you wouldn't be asking. You said you weren't mad, but you are, hitting me because you're mad." Anya insisted, "You're jealous."

Stubbornly, Leo countered, "Nonsense, I'm not jealous."

"Chad- Just be honest, I won't laugh at you." Anya said naively, "Besides, if you're not jealous, then there's no need to talk about the other three guys. They're just classmates, and you're not jealous, right?"

Leo realized he'd been outmaneuvered by little Anya.

Uncomfortably, Leo indirectly admitted Anya's point, "I'm just a bit upset. Among those guys, one's as skinny as a rail, another's as round as a barrel, one tries to be fashionable but just hangs around doing nothing practical, and another is only slightly lighter than a black man."

Anya, not understanding that a man belittling another man is a sign of jealousy, naively defended her classmates, "They're not as exaggerated as you say."

Leo and Anya then discussed their views on love, acknowledging that even in a loving relationship, adjustments are necessary.

"Of course, you wouldn't like those guys since you have a boyfriend, but it doesn't rule out that someone might have feelings for you. I'm not unreasonable or overbearing. In our relationship, I won't limit your social circle to just me, making you betray me by talking to another man, or imprisoning your thoughts and social life. Anya, remember, in college, you will have a wide network of classmates and friends, and I support you in making friends with them. It doesn't mean I don't love you."

Anya listened, half understanding.

Leo simplified, "I can have female friends, but I hope you don't have male friends who are secretly in love with you."

Half puzzled, Anya asked, "Chad, do you mean you want to know what my relationship is with those guys? If they're just classmates, you won't be mad, but if someone likes me, you will, right?"

Leo confirmed, "You got it. Now explain who the other three guys are."

Though Anya seemed dissatisfied with Chad's jealousy, she honestly introduced them, "One is the class president, the person I asked is the study monitor, and there's another classmate. I don't really know his name; it'd be awkward to ask-" "Classmates for a year, and you don't know his name?"

Anya countered, "Aunt Mia and Aunt Molly are almost graduating, and they don't remember all their classmates' names either."

Mentioning Mia and Molly, Leo switched topics, "Now, tell me about blocking me."

Anya bit her lip, looking guilty.

Leo asked, "Did your Aunt Molly teach you, or was it Aunt Mia?"

Anya shook her head, "It was my own idea."

Knowing Anya well, Leo was aware she was too fond of him to block him without influence, suspecting the two women of giving her the idea after they got married.

"Was it your aunt?" Lately, Mia had been weaning her baby and complaining in the group chat, likely too preoccupied to scheme.

"It was me."

Leo's gaze was piercing as he looked at Anya.

"Okay, it was Aunt Mia. She said she always used that trick on Uncle Mike. So, I tried it," Anya admitted, caught in the act.

Leo pinched Anya's cheek, "You're quite bold."

Anya pouted, "But I was mad at the time."

Leo eyed Anya's pouting lips, swallowing, then let her go.

Anya looked down, fiddling with the blanket, feeling downcast.

Chad clearly wanted to kiss her but didn't.

Leo went to the desk, opened a bottle of water, and drank.

He took out his phone and messaged Officer Chad, who was at work, "Check Jade's phone to see if you're blocked. No thanks."

Officer Chad pondered upon reading the message.

Anya sat at the bed's end, not checking her phone, her head down, fiddling with the blanket, lost in thought.

Leo put away his phone, facing Anya, "Do you want me to kiss you?"

Anya suddenly looked up, taken aback, "Huh?"

"Alright then." With that, Leo took Anya by the arm, lowered his head, and once more wrapped his arms around Anya's body, pressing his lips against hers.
