This time, Leo's tongue brushed against Anya's lips as his other hand gently cupped her neck. Anya tensed up, clenching her teeth. "Open your mouth," Leo commanded, seizing the moment. "Huh?"

As Anya responded, Leo took the opportunity to deepen the kiss, wrapping his arms tighter around her and closing his eyes, savoring the moment with genuine affection rather than technique.

Anya's cheeks turned a deep shade of red, the color spreading down to her neck. She closed her eyes, overwhelmed by the sensations and Leo's tight embrace, her heart racing with excitement.

...

At lunch in the restaurant, Leo, fresh from a shower with his hair still damp, glanced at a blushing Anya, who kept her head down, too shy to look at him.

"What do you want to drink?" Leo asked, skimming the menu.

"Just water."

After placing their order, Leo sent the waiter away.

Looking across the table at his girlfriend, who still wouldn't meet his gaze, he said, "You're the one who agreed to a blind date, yet you're the one who's shy. Lift your head and look at me. Are you coming to the city library with me to study this afternoon, or are you going with your classmates to the school library?"

"With my classmates."

"After lunch, take a nap at the hotel, and I'll drive you there," Leo added, then teased, "Sit with the girls, not the boys."

"Okay~"

That afternoon, after dropping Anya off at the library, she insisted on eating the melted ice cream in her hand, claiming it was special because Leo bought it for her. Eventually, Leo threw it away and bought her a new one before finally leaving her at the library. "I'll wait here to pick you up when you're done."

Anya nodded and waved goodbye to Leo, quickly finishing her large ice cream cone in just a few bites.

Instead of heading back to the hotel, Leo took a detour to meet up with a few well-known friends in the industry.

At the library, Anya's classmates were buzzing with excitement. "Anya, are you really dating the school's most eligible bachelor?"

Blushing, Anya nodded, "Yes, but Chad isn't around, so we haven't made it public." "Wow, congratulations! Are you living together?" one of her classmates asked.

Anya shook her head, "No, I stay at his place, but he's been kicked out."

"So, you get to see Andre every day?" The excitement among her classmates grew, "Is Andre as handsome as his pictures? You're so lucky! While we adore him from afar, you get to see him every day. Is Andre's little one as adorable as the internet says? Does Andre love his wife more or the baby more? I've seen Andre dropping off his wife at school often."

Anya shook her head, then nodded, "I don't see him every day. His aunt and uncle have their own place. The baby is indeed super cute; we all video call him if we haven't seen him for a day. As for who uncle loves more, I think he loves both."

At Maplewood Estates, Andre's two treasures were at home, with Henry snuggling back into his mother Mia's arms, happily sticking close.

Hungry, he naturally gravitated towards Mia's clothing, seeking his nourishment.

"You little rascal, I'm not feeding you anymore. You know how to call for daddy, let him feed you."

"Ah, ah," Henry tried to nibble through the clothing at his mother.

Mia adjusted her son, sitting him on her lap, facing her, "You better wean off soon, so I can be free. I've missed out on so many delicacies over the past year, and I plan to catch up on all of them."

Henry giggled looking up at his mother.

Mia listed the delights she longed for, "Spicy hot pot, barbecue, street food, ice cream, chocolates, fried foods, seafood, chilled drinks... I'll have a taste of everything."

Poking her adorable son's nose, Mia lamented, "Because of breastfeeding you, think about how long it's been since I've dined out. Your aunt and brother post pictures of their tasty adventures, and I'm here, starving. But I endured, eating healthier than your grandfather, all because I worried about you. And you, ungratefully, learned to call daddy first." Mia teased, poking her son's belly.

Henry sat on his mother's lap, laughing silly, thinking it was a game as she tickled him.

"Silly boy, I'm complaining here, and you're just laughing, not understanding a word," Mia hugged her son, Henry attempting to nibble on her face, playfully tugging at her hair.

Resting on her, sensing the familiar comfort, he babbled happily.

"Madam, let us take Henry. The master instructed us to care for the child while you study."

Mia, knowing her son wouldn't take well to separation, suggested, "Just push his stroller to my husband's study; I'll study there with him. He'll fall asleep soon."

True to a mother's intuition, Henry, with his bottle, soon dozed off in the stroller, not even finishing his milk.

Mia recorded a video of Henry sleeping and sent it to her husband.

Andre, watching the video, smiled at the sight of his son looking peaceful and adorable, a stark contrast to the tearful mess when he woke up, making Andre's heart melt with a secret kiss on his cheek. At home, Henry returned to his lovable self. Even his cries were endearing to his parents.

Shortly after, Noah entered, "Sir, about Leo..."

Andre put down his phone as Noah reported, "Leo interviewed at two more companies, one masquerading as an internet firm recruiting for sales. The other asked for an upfront deposit of $8000, pretending to train future engineers, starting with sales training and demanding tuition fees."

Noah was visibly upset, "Sir, isn't this just a scam?"

Andre remained silent for a moment before dismissing Noah.

Alone in his office, Andre's focus drifted away from work. He picked up his phone, hesitated for two seconds, then dialed his friend, "Hey, Teddy, I need a favor."

Teddy set his terms, "Let my son play with yours for a couple of days."

"...Alright." For his nephew's sake, Andre agreed, even if it meant 'selling' his son.

On his way back to the hotel after meeting a good friend, Leo's thoughts wandered. His expression was tinged with seriousness, preoccupied with other matters, almost causing him to walk through a red light.

His phone buzzed with a message from Anya, "Chad, I'm off at 5. When will you come to pick me up?"

While waiting for the light to change, Leo quickly shot back a reply, "I'll be there soon."

In the evening, a confrontation unfolded when Jade's attempts to block her husband came to light. Officer Chad stood firmly in front of the bathroom door, looking at his wife, "Explain yourself." "Go ahead, do whatever you want with me."
