The little toddler had no clue why he was there, squirming in his dad's arms and tapping his tiny hands against the tightly shut window, creating a dull thud against the glass. Before long, he stuck out his little tongue and started licking the window.

A young man exited the office building, looking noticeably thinner than before. Living away from home meant he had to handle everything himself, relying heavily on takeout since cooking was not his forte. His job wasn't as carefree as it used to be at Cedillo Inc. At the Cedillo Group, Leo's position was just beneath Andre's, but he still had the freedom to leave if he wanted...

Henry tapped on the window, babbling, "Mmm, ba-ba-ba, daddy, ba-ba."

Standing on his father's legs, the little tyke's shoes were nowhere to be found, his chubby feet stamping all over his dad's thighs. Kids always seem to replace the highest spot to stand on.

His toes accidentally found the button for the window controls. With a bit of pressure, one side of the car window began to slowly descend, "Woah, ah, pfft," he watched the window open with glee, his little mouth shouting joyfully.

Andre had turned away for just a moment, and the window opened. He was anxious his nephew might spot him, but his son seemed more concerned that Leo wouldn't notice him, excitedly shouting out loud. Andre quickly pulled his son back and swiftly closed the window.

Leo heard the shouting, glanced around, and only noticed an inconspicuous black sedan. He muttered, "Whose little rascal is making all this noise, just like Henry, so loud." He found himself missing the often-annoying Henry. He continued on his way home from work.

Back in the car, Henry's cries filled the space once again. All because he almost exposed his dad and got scolded for it. Andre picked up his son's chubby little feet, giving them a light smack, "Where did you toss your shoes this time?" "Uwaa, waa~" Henry cried, showing off his tiny baby teeth, his little fists clenched tight, frustrated at being scolded again. After the reprimand, Andre had to wipe away his son's tears.

Looking at his son crying so hard, his whole little body straining, Andre pinched his son's chubby waist, "A bit of this chub could do your brother some good."

"Uwaa~ mama," Henry wanted his mom.

Andre bent down to replace Henry's shoes under the seat, slipping them back on his feet; the child had tossed them into the backseat earlier. Considering his son's previous adventure with the window and the lack of a baby seat in the back, the doting father had to improvise. Taking advantage of his son's inability to walk and only stand with support, he placed him on the floor mat in the backseat, letting him press his hands against the back of the seat, and left him be. Henry, standing all alone in the back, felt abandoned. Andre drove for a while, and his intermittent cries lasted the entire journey.

Arriving at Cedillo Inc., Andre emerged with his son, still sniffling, and handed the car keys to Noah, "Thanks."

Noah didn't dare ask why the president, with his luxury cars, would borrow his vehicle. Seeing Henry, crying and sweaty, his clothes soaked through, "President, is Henry okay?"

"It's fine, let him cry. He'll stop when he's done."

Andre didn't linger, turning to go to the garage for his own car. This time, Henry saw the baby seat and knew it was for him, eagerly wanting it.

Meanwhile, father and son arrived home, and Leo also returned to his rented place.

Conner surveyed the surroundings downstairs, checking out the neighborhood environment. He recorded a video on his phone for his blind-date-turned-good-friend to share a glimpse.

"Knew you wouldn't have been invited, just showing you around. It's pretty average, full of renters, quite chaotic."

Soon, Leo joined Conner, "Uncle, let's head upstairs."

Reaching their place, Conner observed the roommates, some shirtless, dragging their flip-flops, others with bedhead stretching lazily on their way to knock on the bathroom door, "Hurry up, can't wait.” Seeing the stoic Conner, the passersby took a second look, "Leo, is this your brother?"

Leo: "... My uncle."

They proceeded through the narrow hallway into Leo's bedroom, which felt instantly brighter and even had a private bath, sparing him the need to queue for the bathroom. Leo opened the fridge, handing Conner a couple of sodas and a plate of fruit, "Uncle, have something to drink and eat."

Conner examined Leo's compact fridge, appreciating its freshness and freezing compartments, "A fridge, not bad at all, small but well-equipped."

He studied it further, impressed by its features. "The fridge is nothing, I have to go downstairs in a bit to sign for the washing machine delivery."

Having a girlfriend meant her presence was felt even in her absence. Anya seemed determined to fill his room to the brim. Every day, "Chad, remember to pick up a parcel from the post office, I bought you some cereal. If you're in a rush in the morning, just have some with milk."

"Chad, I ordered some fresh peaches for you online, make sure you collect them. We need to support the farmers actively."

"Chad, I've sent you..."

Speaking of the devil, she called. "Hello, Ms. Anya." Sometimes Leo was too lazy to use his girlfriend 'Anya's' pet name, simply shortening it.

Anya reminded him, "Chad, once you're back home, don't forget to collect the washing machine. The communal one isn't clean, stop using it for your laundry, use the one I bought you instead, it's cleaner and more hygienic. From now on, use it for your sheets, your clothes..."

"Okay, okay, I got it. I'm a bit busy now."

"Oh, then I won't keep you, just remember." Anya made sure to remind him once more before hanging up.

Conner sat on the bed, observing his nephew's life, thinking how at nearly thirty, his life was less settled than his twenty-something nephew's. At least his nephew had a partner.

Scattered across the table were Leo's study materials, which Conner picked up and noticed the careful markings on every page, "Really taking after your uncle."

Leo remained silent.

Conner said, "He cares about you a lot."

"I know," Leo responded.

He connected Conner's laptop to his own, getting down to business.

Conner pulled up a stool next to Leo, understanding the simple parts and marveling at the complex strings of code that seemed like gibberish to him.

Leo kept glaring at the screen, from 7 PM until 10 at night, his brows furrowed in frustration. Conner couldn't make heads or tails of it either. Sneakily, he recorded Leo's diligent efforts and shared the video in their brotherhood's group chat. Teddy typed, "...Conner, could you ask Leo if he'd be up for upgrading the cybersecurity for the Yan Corporation?"

Mars replied to Teddy, "Idiot, he obviously can't."

Both Teddy and Mars logged off in an instant.
