Sweet Redemption Chapter 42

Teleporting to the Fae Realm didn't take as much out of me as it usually did. Something I was skeptical about. I kept a close eye on Bianca after we made it to the Fae forest. She looked around completely amazed at the new world.

Once we walked through, I wheeled our suitcases over to the far side. The outside of the tents looked flimsy. Like they were being held up with two sticks and nothing else.

The inside was much different though. Just a part of the Fae world magic. Inside of the tent was beautiful. Homey feeling with a small heater that ran off of magic and a large bed in the corner. Fae didn't exactly trust others a whole lot but they were very hospitable. After setting down our things I turned around to replace Bianca looking around.

"It's insanely big in here." She commented.

I gave her a small laugh. "Yeah. Fae magic." I told her as I closed the distance between us.

Bianca wrapped her arms around my neck as soon as I was close enough, and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Should we be worried about bugs and stuff getting in?" She asked me.

Again, I couln't help but laugh.

"No. The tents keep everything out."

Bianca scrunched up her adorable face.

"Fae magic." She stated.

I nodded with another laugh. Before she could ask me anything else I pressed my lips to hers in a soft kiss. A soft kiss that quickly deepened.

Bianca pulled back to look me in the eyes.

I don't know.. I don't think it will get better until we are completely mated. She told me.

Well. As soon as we get back we can talk to her about it. I don't think she'll have any objections at this point but... I trailed off.

Sage nodded her agreement in my head before retreating. I know that Sage would never let anything happen to our mate and would have told me if she was worried. Although Sage's words didn't exactly make me feel better.

Thoughts were running through my head, and I didn't even remember falling asleep.
