Sweet Redemption Chapter 62

Ahkari, Acaisia, wake up. Tia's voice pushed through my head stirring me awake.

Ugh, too early. I grumbled and Acaisia grunted in agreement.

I don't give a f**k. Wake up and get your asses to my office now. Tia said then cut the link.

Why does our own sister hate us so much? Acaisia asked me.

Maybe she heard about how you were treating your mate too. I said back.

Acaisia whimpered at my comment.

I'll meet you downstairs in ten minutes. She told me before cutting the link.

I felt a bit bad for making her feel bad but I feared that if I didn't she would never stop. Acaisia doesn't handle her own feelings well and I knew that was what was causing the biggest issue with them. Instead of asking Bou what she wanted to know, she just retaliated out of anger. I just want the both of them to be happy.

Bianca was still tangled around me, her head resting on my boobs. Gently I untangled her from my body, careful not to wake her. Bianca sighed in her sleep as I got from the bed but otherwise stayed asleep.

I walked to the bathroom to pee and brush my teeth. Then I went to the closet and dressed in leggings and a light blue cropped T-shirt.

A few minutes later I was walking down the stairs and waiting at the door for my twin. For once she was on time, and alone. It was kind of strange now, to see her without Bou trailing behind her like a lost puppy. I know that she grew to like it and you could see how sad it really made her to be fighting with her mate.

"Hey." She greeted softly without looking me in the eyes.

"You ready?" I asked her.

Aciaisa nodded and we walked to Tia's office in silence. It's about 8 a.m. right now on a Saturday. All of the kids have went home for the weekend expect for the orphans, though I'm sure everyone else is alseep.

When we got to Tia's office the door was open and we walked in.

"Wow you guys are on time for once." Tia commented making me roll my eyes.

Usually Acaisia would have something to say but she stayed quiet. Tia's eyes flickered to my twin then to me. I shook my head to her.

Her and Bou have been fighting really bad. Last night... she asked Russell to come get her and left with him in front of Bou. I told Tia, who glared at my twin in return. Aciaisa didn't even notice, she just kept staring down at her feet. I think they are starting to fix things though. I quickly said before Tia could say anything to Acaisia.

Tia nodded to me and sighed heavily.

"Queen Annag wants blood samples from the two of you. I want to send over samples to our scientists as well. They are waiting for you guys in the infirmary. How are the two of you feeling? Any change?" She asked. Acaisia only shook her head for an answer.

"I have been feeling a bit foggier lately but that's really it." I said.

Tia nodded. "Let me know if it changes okay?" She said, the both of us nodded to her. "Alright, go get your blood drawn." She said dismissing us.

About an hour later Acaisia and I walked out of the infirmary. She hadn't spoken the entire time and just stared off. There was none of the joking attitude she normally had and I was starting to get worried. Baby where are you? Bianca asked through the link.

Another flicker in her emotions flowing through the bond.

Tia had called me and Acaisia to the school. I'm on my way back. I told her.

"Are you going back to your mate?" Acaisia asked me, speaking for the first time.

I nodded.

"Aren't you?" I asked her.

Acaisia's eyes filled with tears but she blinked them away.

"I left him a note and want to be better to him but... I'm not sure Bou wants to be my mate anymore." She said softly.

"Can you blame him Acaisia? He's been trying this whole time no matter how difficult you've been. He was really upset last night." I told her.

A tear fell down my sisters cheek.

"I know." She whispered.

I sighed.

"Why would you do that? After everything he's done to make sure you know he wants you and only you. How could you leave with another guy?" I asked.

"It was just Russell. We used to go out all the time." She tried to defend herself.

I rolled my eyes.

"Did Bou know that? Because he seemed convinced you left to have s*x." I said.

Acaisia shook her head.

"I know it was stupid but I thought he'd come after me. I thought that if he seen me leave in a tight little dress, with another guy he would come running out after me. That he would drag me back to our bedroom and tell me what the hell has been going on with him." She said.

I shook my head.

"He isn't a werewolf Acaisia. He doesn't feel possessive like we do. Yeah, he would never want someone to look at you or touch you but he isn't the type to go running after you after you just left him. Bou wasn't going to drag you back when he thought you wanted to leave him." I scolded her.

"I know that now." She said as more tears fell from her eyes.

"You hurt him really bad Acaisia." I said softly.

"I know." She replied. "But I'm going to be better now."

"Only you can fix this now Cais." I said as I rested my hand on her shoulder. "Just mark him and stop torturing not only your mate but yourself." I said and she just nodded as she wipped her tears.

"Now, I'm going to go to my mate. You should do the same." I said then walked towards the doors of the school.

I rushed back home as fast as I could. Bianca and I could literally be attached at the hip and it would never be enough for me. I crave her presence. As soon as I entered the house I ran up the stairs. The mansion was quiet, probably because no one was awake yet. As soon as I entered my bedroom my mate was sitting there on our bed staring out the window. She didn't notice me at first, which I found odd. I walked around the bed and sat down with her. Bianca jumped slightly letting me know that something was definitely up with her.

"Hey baby, you okay?" I asked with a kiss to her cheek.

Bianca gave me a bright smile but it didn't reach her eyes.

"Yeah, I was just thinking." She said as she leaned in to press her lips to mine.

"About what?" I asked pulling away.

"Nothing." Bianca said a little too quickly. I narrowed my eyes to her.

"It was really nothing." She said and tried to kiss me again.

This is what she always does. I start to question her mood, and she distracts me with s*x. Today I was taking some of my own advice to my sister, and asking her what's wrong.

"Bianca.." I started. "What is going on with you? I've been noticing that something is bothering you. I thought that you would tell me when you're ready but now.. I just.. Is there something wrong? Am I doing something wrong?" I asked her.

Bianca's eyes went wide at my words.

"No!" She practically shouted.

Bianca closed her eyes and shook her head.

"No." She said opening her eyes to look at me. "You haven't done anything wrong baby. You make me so happy I feel like I could explode. Sometimes I still can't believe this is my life." She told me with a genuine smile.

I reached up to cup her cheek and she leaned into my touch.

"Then what is wrong?" I asked her sofly.

Bianca averted her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Bianca.." I pushed.

"I don't want a third mate." She rushed out.

It took me a few seconds to register what she had said.

"Uhm... me either?" I said confused.

Bianca's eyes snapped up to mine.

"I know its inevitable but I don't want him. I just want it to be us." She said almost in a panic.

"Okay, babe calm down." I said as I grabbed her hands. "First of all, him?" I asked. "And what do you mean inevitable?"

Bianca blew out a breath.

"Same s*x mates always come with an opposite s*x third mate. Ya know, to balance them out and have kids and stuff." She said.

I blinked at her for a few seconds before laughing hysterically.

"Babe, we will not have a third mate I promise. Same s*x mates exist." I told her.

Bianca rolled her eyes.

"You're just saying that to make me feel better." She said.

I stared into her eyes for a few seconds before an idea hit me. Standing up I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my contacts. I know just who to help me out with this. Tapping on the contact I put the phone up to my ear. "Well, good morning my favorite neice." Uncle Liam's voice floated through the phone.

"Hey Uncle Liam. Are you busy today?"
