I watch as border patrols walk around the grounds of the pack.

They have stepped up the patrols up, I wonder why. They were never did this particular part before.

Over the years, I could still make my way in and out even when I was banished without being noticed, there are secret tunnels that run around the back to get in and out without anyone noticing if you have to know where to look.

“More border check points too” says a rough voice “I want to go in there and kill that pathetic young alpha.”

I smirk; I never thought Hudson would be such an improvement. I thought I trained him well but obviously daddy wanted him to change for the better.

“Well, it was your own stupid fault for letting that stupid human mate of yours to go in there” I snarl “I told you that Alanna would get the information we needed and I would have told you everything you needed to know.”

Damien glares at me “I might not have liked my b***h mate due to being a human but she kept us both well and feed, also she made sure you had that girl in our grasp too for years” he says.

I have to admit the human did come in handy when it came to that pathetic Jackson. Just to think he thought I was helping him settle but all I wanted was his little brat so I could have her for myself but that little brat never spoke after Damien slit her throat but what I witnessed was truly amazing. I wanted to know more about her, I wanted her. I wanted her like I wanted her mother. She was the same; she smelt of human but never came across as one. She outsmarted me at one of my trails. I need to know more about her.

I walk towards the clearing and Damien follows me “What are we going to do now?” He says with a growl “We need to know what’s going on in there?”

I look out and I know he’s right but I haven’t heard from Alanna since earlier this morning saying they were having a meeting but nothing has come from her.

Alanna’s my mate, she has been since Jackson has been with her. I have people in high places who helped me pretend that Jackson was her mate. He never cared for Alanna but when I suggested that she become his second chance mate, she was willing to do it. Alanna has been following the cause for many years but never met Brooke. She had to stay away but we very much met regularly in the motel in a town over from here just to make up for lost time.

“We need to send people in” I said to him and turned around to look at him “Send Madison in with ten rogues, if they see guards tell them not to kill them but they will have to walk around the territory to replace a way in and also if they spot the girl, to use the injection that I provided for her, it will look like that pathetic little brat she is dead but in fact she would be stuck in her body while we torture her to replace out what she is” I say with a smirk.

Damien nods and mind links Madison who recently turned into a werewolf due to her mate, she was happy to. But then she rejected him as she wanted Hudson which will never happen unless he thinks he can change me from this horrible being I am then I will kindly kill him myself.

After mind linking Madison, Damien turns to me “We need to get out of here, we can stay at the house where they used to live. No one has been there since they left” he says.

I nod and follow him, heading back to the house that Aubrey had that little brat in was the pleasure of my being especially when she was torturing her. She loved doing it. It was shocking how a human would react if they wanted to hurt someone.

The house was in darkness, it’s not grand but it will do for now.

We walk in and shut the door.

“Send word to the rest of the followers” I said to Damien “We need to be prepared that they might know about us being local.”

Damien growls but doesn’t say a word and grabs his phone out of his pocket, he dialed his number two.

After what seemed like forever, Damien has a smirk on his face “Well my daughter is good for something” he says “They found a way in and are now looking around but she has caught onto the scent of the young alpha and a human girl.”

I can’t help but smirk “Make sure they kill the alpha, bring the girl alive. We need to replace out what she is” I say.

His face goes blank as he mind links her; I lean against the counter and look at him.

But my mind goes back to trying to replace out what that brat and her mother were, I even looked in the library of history about all the different shifters around, I also notice that Hudson and Aubrey’s pathetic son were there too looking but by the look on their faces they never came up with anything like I did. I even threatened that elder that worked there to replace out if he knew any type of shifter that could do what that brat did.

I will have her; I will make her tell me what she is.

Damien looks at me with a huge grin “She has found her” she says “She is in her sights and guess what” he says “It’s just that pathetic young alpha and her, they are on their own.”

I can’t help but laugh.

This is going to be amazing; I will get the brat and also kill Hudson at the same time. I never cared about him but he was so easy to manipulate when he was a boy it was fun to do.

“Make sure all the followers come here, we will leave when we have her in our grasp but we might have to be quick as they might come after us if your daughter gets caught” I say with a snarl.

Damien glares at me “Well if she f***s up, she will be killed but not at the hands of the pack, it will be by my hands” he says ‘Both her and her mother were useless.”

I couldn’t agree more.

We just have to wait now till we know that Madison has the girl and that Hudson is dead.
