Chapter 46

Jace's POV

I spent the whole day training and going for runs to keep my mindbusy while I waited for the warlock to come and wake my mate finally. Iwas in the room I was staying in taking a shower after my run when Iget a link from my gamma letting me know that one of the Blue Willowwolves came to let us know that the warlock was finally here. I finishshowering and getting dressed in record time before I'm done and outthe door heading to Alpha Jason's office at the main house. I walk intothe pack house and make my way to his office stopping in front of thedoor for a beat before I knock, waiting a couple of minutes before Ihear him say “Come In’ as I open the door and walk in I see the warlocksitting in a chair across from him decked out in black leather with studsand piercings all over kinda looking very goth but he works it very well."I hope I'm not interrupting anything I was told your warlock friend washere and I had to meet the person who could help my mate" I say in aworried and anxious tone

"It's alright Alpha Jace I was just going to bring him to you actually butnow I don't have to. Alpha Jace meet my long time ally and warlockfriend Sebastian, Sebastian please meet one of my allies Alpha Jace ofthe Night Shade Pack his mate was the one I told you about over thephone the one who was put under a sleeping potion." He introduces us"Hello Sebastian I am very happy that you were able to come on suchshort notice and I hope you can help wake my mate up from thesleeping potion she was put under." I tell him with sad eyes

"The pleasure is all mine I love helping especially when I know the witchthat made the spell and don't worry I'm much stronger then she couldever hope to be so I should be able to break the spell in no time. Alsoyou don't have to worry about her coming after you again she's beentaken care of by my coven and she will not harm anyone ever againnow could you please take me to your mate so I may begin.” Sebastianasks with sheer determination and confidence. I nod as we all leaveJason's office and head to the pack hospital to wake my mate up finallyafter almost 3 months of her being asleep.

We get there and I show him to the room Skylar is in, once we get therehe asks if we could wait in the waiting room so he could work in peace.I oblige and leave him alone with my mate reluctantly but I have hopethat he can do what he says and hopefully he doesn't betray us eventhough he seems like a very nice person. After sitting in the waitingroom for 4 hours Sebastian finally emerges from my mate's room and Istiffen thinking the worst has happened as he looks like he has a grimexpression on his face.

"Is she going to be okay were you able to reverse or break the sleepingpotion she was placed under?" I ask with a hopeful expression spreadacross my face as I stand there looking at him waiting for him to saysomething anything.

After an agonizing long 5 minutes a small smile spreads across his facebefore he looks at me reassuringly, "Everything went splendid I wasable to figure out exactly which spell was used and I was able tocounter it accordingly she should wake up anywhere from the next fewhours to a day or two but she will wake up and that's all that matters.”He tells me

"Thank you so much I owe you so much for doing this and I know mymate would say the same thing please if you ever need anything pleasedon't hesitate to ask” I tell him as I hug him and we exchange cards sowe could get a hold of each other if needed.

I thank him a few more times before I take off to my mate's room towait by her bedside for her to wake up and I will not be leaving herside. I want the first things for her to see when she wakes up to be me. Iwalk into her room and hold her hand and whisper to her that she'sgoing to be all right and that she can wake up anytime she wants nowthat the spell is broken and I just hope she could hear me as I sit in mychair beside her holding her hand as I draw random patterns on theback of her hand.

Skylar's POV

I was floating the darkness when I felt someone other my mate and thedoctors come into me room. I can feel his intense and magicallyalluring energy as he comes towards me and moving his hands over mybody as I can feel it but I know he's not physically touching me and justas fast as he starts he walks away from me for a while but I know he'sstill in the room as I can feel the power emanating from him.

He was working on something for long time before he came back andwiped something on forehead before placing his hand over it andchanneling power into it. Once he was done he walked away from meand talked with someone about something and that's when I feltsomething start to course through my body as I layed there hoping itwas the one thing that would finally wake me from this nightmare butall I could do was wait and see if I woke up eventually as I somehowknew it would take a while for what ever was coursing through me totake full effect.

I was still surrounded by the darkness but then something else startedto happen. As I was wandering around in the dark I started to see aglimmer of light and as I slowly made my way towards it I noticed it wasslowly getting brighter and brighter the closer I got to it. As I made myway to the light I saw a figure in the middle of the light and as I lookedclosely I noticed it was my mate Jace. Happiness over took me as I ranand jumped into his arms letting his warmth and the light envelope meuntil I finally opened my eyes and shut them against the harsh glare ofthe lights.

Feeling very happy and overwhelmed I slowly opened my eyes andlooked around the room as I noticed I was in what looked like ahospital room with an IV in my arm and machines hooked up to me. Iglanced down at my hand as I felt a weight on it and noticed my mateholding it with his head beside it sleeping and whimpering in his sleep.Not being able to take him whimpering I move my other hand to hishair and run my fingers through his soft hair making him moan. Assoon as the moan escaped his lips his eyes snapped open and his headshot up so fast and looked at me making his eyes go wide as he finallynoticed that I was actually awake.

He grabbed my face roughly and kissed me so deep and rough that hestarted crying tears of joy at finally being able to kiss and hold me.After what felt like minutes but was actually an hour of us making outwe pull away from each other panting for breath as we stared into eachothers eyes with all the love we had for each other shining in them."Hello my love I am so glad to finally be able to see you and kiss youand hold you close to me soon" I say to him making a smile form on hisswollen lips as he let more tears run down his face as he nuzzled intomy neck breathing my scent in deeply.
