Chapter 47

Skylar's POV

I am so happy to finally be awake after all this time being asleep andimprisoned. It feels so good to be able to touch and hold my mateclose to me. Jace has been spending basically every waking momentwith me while I recovered and got my strength back because sleepingfor like 3 months puts a lot of stress on the body. Today is the day I amfinally being released from here to be able to go back to the house mymate and pack are staying in right now since I am still not strongenough to go home yet even though the doctor said I should be strongenough to go home very soon as long as I get plenty of rest and don'tpush my body to much then I'll be strong enough to go home in atleast a week.

I was sitting in the living room of the house while Jace was in thekitchen fixing us something for lunch when there was a knock on thedoor. Before I can even get up to go and answer it I see Jace run fromthe kitchen giving me a smile before going and answering the door."Oh why hello Alpha Jason and hello Sebastian come on in Skylar is inthe living room" Jace greets them before following them to the livingroom.

"Skylar this is Alpha Jason he was the one who helped us take downVance and get you back and this is Sebastian he helped to wake you upfrom the sleeping potion” Jace says as he introduces the 2 men to me"Hello Alpha, Sebastian, Alpha thank you so much for your help intaking him down and rescuing me and thank you Sebastian for beingable to help wake me up from that nightmare” I greet and thank theboth of them

"I owe you both a life debt that I know I will never be able to fulfill but Ido hope I can one day. I would love to keep the both of you as alliesfrom now on and if either one of you needs anything at all I would likeyou to know you can call on us and we will always be there to help.” Isay to them as I am extremely grateful for all of their help in my rescueand my awakening.

"We would like that very much and we are glad you are awake anddoing good. We just came over for a quick visit to make sure you wereall right and weren't having effects from the potion or anything and wewill always be allies from now on and if you ever need help don'thesitate to call on us again we will always come and help you out.”Alpha Jason says as Sebastian nods his head in agreement before hewalks over to me and sits beside me.

"I would like for you to sit still as I check to make sure there is nothingleft lingering from all the magic that was used on you." Sebastian saysand I do as he says and sit completely still for him as his hands glow anice light blue colour as they hover and slowly make their way downmy body starting at my head and ending at my feet and back up again.Once he was done he sat there for a few moments before a small smilespread across his face which makes me let out the breath I didn't realizeI was holding from the anticipation.

"There doesn't seem to be any magic lingering from the sleepingpotion or from anything I did to wake you up from it which is good.Sometimes normal wolves would have some sort of side effect butsince you aren't a normal wolf you seem to be able to heal a lot fasterand more efficiently which is good and I'm glad to finally meet you inperson.” Sebastian tells me making me smile and hug him

"Thank you so, so, so much for everything I really appreciate all the helpyou both gave us and I will be eternally grateful for you both. I can'twait to work with you in the future and hopefully on bettercircumstances then me being kidnapped and put under some spell” Isay giving a little laugh about everything as I try to hold back my tears."We look forward to it too and you and your pack are always welcomeon my lands and I hope to have you both here with your daughter for avisit in the future. It was lovely to finally meet you and see you doing sowell but unfortunately I have some business to attend to that needsSebastian's help and so we both bid you farewell for now and to takecare and take it easy until you get your strength back” Alpha Jason saysbefore bowing his head to me and Jace before he turned to leave withSebastian giving us each a small smile before he followed Jason out thedoors and Jace comes back with 2 plates of food that are loaded upwith 2 burgers each along with french fries and onion rings. I watch ashe sets the plates down in front of us and as I stare at the delicioussmelling food practically drooling Jace takes the remote and puts amovie on Netflix for us to watch as we dug into our food. I ended upeating my entire plate of food and about half of Jace's as well knowinghe didn't mind since I was hungry and it was helping me build up mystrength.

I've been awake for about a week and a half now and I have finally builtup enough strength to start doing basic exercises which meant that wecould go home any time now. I was laying in bed looking through allthe pictures and videos of our little girl and I almost didn't recognizeher since she was so big. Jace finished his shower and walked out insome boxers as he climbed into the bed behind me wrapping his armsaround my waist as he left kisses up and down my neck making meplace the phone down and turn around in his arms and kiss him deepand passionately.

"Have you heard from Jasper or Lucy or Lucas or anyone from the packback home lately?" I ask worriedly

"No I haven't heard from anyone in a while which has me worried andwanting to go back home as soon as we can.” he replies to me

"Well I am better now so why don't we pack up our things and headhome tomorrow I would really like to be home since I've been away forway too long and I want to hold my little girl in my arms and never lether go." I tell him which makes him smile.

"Definitely I will let the others know to be packed and ready to gohome tomorrow" he says kissing me deep and rough before linking thepack to tell them to be packed before we fell asleep in each othersarms. We wake up early and pack what little the both of us had inrecord time since we are both very eager to get back home. We walkdown stairs and see everyone standing there with happy expressions atseeing their Luna alive and well again as we all head outside and seeAlpha Jason waiting for us with a few vehicles to drive us to the airportto see us off.

The drive to the airport was very long and I slept most of the way andonce we got to the tarmac our warriors took all the luggage and put iton the the plane while we talked with Alpha Jason.

"It was very kind of you to help us we really appreciate everything youdid for us and don't hesitate to call upon us for anything even for a visitsince you and your pack will always be welcome there. Oh and pleasetell Candy thank you for everything she did for me for if not for her Iwould not have lasted that long” I tell him before giving him a quickhug

"It was nothing and I know you would do the same for us and I am gladto have such strong allies with the Night Shade Pack. If i ever need youI won't hesitate to ask and I promise to visit once you are settled in andhave had enough time to spend with your little one and 1 will let herknow since her and her mate, my beta haven't left their room reallysince we rescued you both from that place. Have a safe flight and letme know when you get home so I know you got there in one piece anddidn't run into any trouble on the way" Alpha Jason says with a smile ashe returns my hug and gives Jace some bro hug thing that men domaking me smile and laugh. We get on the plane and head home butnothing could have prepared us for what we would replace when we gotthere.
