The Alpha's Unwanted Mate
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 60

Celeste had somehow escaped her own party with Zillon, Fredd and Liam by her side. She had bidded Celine and Alpha Gregory goodbye and now all four stood on Zillon’s veranda, listening to the wind that flowed boisterously around them…until of course somebody interrupted the silence.

“I forgot to ask, but why are you guys here? Why are we at my house?”

Liam shrugged, leaning back against the wall. “Fredd and I have concluded that we’d stay here tonight.”

“Why?”

“Mom and dad will bore us to death and continuously ask us about school. That’s really not something we look forward to.”

“Didn’t I tell you guys not to go?”

“We didn’t want to go, you know that Zillon…but unfortunately, we were forced.”

“And now you’re going to be forced again. Go home.”

“You can’t be serious Zillon. Are you really throwing us out of heaven and into the rocky pits of hell?”

Fredd went to stand beside Liam, his expression just as pitiful as a dog that got left out into the rain. “Come on, man. Are you really going to let us sleep outside? Celeste, please help us.”

“You’re not stepping foot in my house, even if Celeste says otherwise…”

Fredd flicked Zillon off and leaned down to measure up with Celeste’s height. “Do you really want us to sleep outside, ‘kitten’?”

Celeste bit down onher bottom l*p, slowly shaking her head. “No, but it’s Zillon’s house.”

“Zillon’s house my foot, it’s your house too, you’re his mate.”

“B-Bu—”

Liam hauled Celeste away from Zillon, whispering closely into her ears. “Act cute and say please, that idiot will always be an idiot when it comes to women.”

“B-But—”

“Shhh you cute looking child of an angel, help us out and I’ll follow you even if you’re stepping into the pits of hell.” He shoved her back to Zillon who was glaring daggers at him and winked.

Zillon tilted his head and looked down at Celeste. “What did he say to you?”

“He said…he said…” Celeste sighed, playing with the shirt she wore as she looked up at him from beneath her lashes. “He said he didn’t like it home, he s-said if he could please stay here.”

Zillon swallowed the saliva in his mouth, wishing the light hadn’t been shining so bright in her face. Her beauty could possibly give him a heart attack, especially if she continued to use it like that. “And do you… do you want them to stay here?”

Celeste shrugged, “They could, they’re your friends after all.”

“Alright, I guess them staying here one night really won’t kill me.” Zillon glared up at Fredd and Liam. “You guys got lucky tonight…”

He opened up his door, letting everyone in before closing it behind him. Fredd and Liam lead the way inside as though they owned the place, both of them jotting down beside each other on the couch.

“How about some food?” Liam questioned.

“I’m sure your mother cooked, go eat there.”

“The welcome back food she cooked could rot there for all I care, I’m sure Celeste cooks better.”

Zillon glowered at him, honestly annoyed. This was exactly why he didn’t want them anywhere near his house, they were his friends, but the f*ckers disgusted him more than vomit, especially now when he just wanted to f*ck the sh*t out of his kitten. “Celeste isn’t cooking anything, not for you.”

“So you’re even possessive with her food, are you hearing this Fredd? Isn’t he a selfish, little bastard?”

“Hasn’t he always been like that? It seems you have forgotten. Remember that time when we all stole Celine’s chicken and he ate all three pieces by himself?”

Liam laughed. “I could never forget that, we hated him for the whole day and for a week after that too. He had to bring us food to get us to talk him again.”

“Shut up!”

“Nope, if you wanted us to keep our mouths shut, you’d have left us outside.”

“You’re right, I’m the stupid one for letting you guys in.” Zillon pinched the bridge of his nose, grabbing Celeste’s hand. “Talk among yourselves, Celeste and I are going to bed.”

“Look at that Fredd, the bastard’s ordering poor Celeste around. Did she tell you she wanted to sleep? Let her be, what if she wants to cook us dinner? Or what if she wants to become our kitten instead of yours?”

“I swear to god Liam, one day you won’t have a f*cking neck.”

Liam laughed. “I’m just joking, but I’m being serious now. Celeste do you wanna go to bed or do you want to chill with us? We have a lot of stories to tell you about that idiot you call your mate.”

Celeste looked up at Zillon then at the two boys. “I…can I stay?”

Zillon clenched his fist, pulling her back against his chest. “No…those two are man whores.”

“Weren’t you one of us? You f*cked Scarlet, Hana, Kimmy, Nella, Bell, Sus—”

Zillon sighed, the breath filled with venom. “What can I do to have peace without ripping your head off Liam?”

“Give me food…I’m sure Celeste’s willing to cook.”

Zillon turned to Celeste, irritation clear on his face. “Do you want to cook them dinner?”

He prayed to the heaven’s that she’d say no, but his prayer got cut halfway when Celeste nodded her f*cking head. “Yes, they really do seem hungry. There’s leftover in the fridge, I could just heat it up for them.”

“I swear to god your heart is too good for this world. You shouldn’t be nice to everyone, Kitten.”

Celeste pouted, averting her eyes away from him. “B-But they’re your friends.”

“Ye, I know baby. But can’t you see that they’re assholes?”

“But I—”

“As stubborn as ever, go. Make them dinner if you want.”

He walked away from her, taking a seat beside the trouble makers and Celeste walked into the opposite direction to the kitchen.
