The Alpha's Unwanted Mate -
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 61
Liam placed the plate down onto the table and rubbed his stomach soothingly. “Woah man, if I didn’t want her before, I do now. Her hands must’ve been made with the golden touch, how does she cook mere tacos and make it taste so nice? and the rice, the chicken everything was so on point. I give it to her man, she’s way better than Celia after all.” He looked over at Celeste and then down at his empty plate. “I just complemented you, how about a refill?”
Celeste nodded, reaching for the plate, but Zillon caught it before she could. “How about you go home now? She gave you food as well as a quarter of the attention that I should be getting, in the name of the goddess, just go home now.”
“But I’m not done eating yet.”
Zillon glared over at Fredd, grabbing the plate out of his hand. “Well you’re done now.”
He rose up to his feet, carrying both plates to the kitchen before returning with the same unpleasant look on his face. “You guys aren’t gone yet?”
Liam and Fredd both shook their heads, simultaneously leaning back against the couch. It’s a pity that unlike Fredd, Liam couldn’t keep his mouth shut. “We already told you we’re sleeping over. You fed us, so I guess I could grant you a little peace, but please when you go up don’t be too loud, Fredd and I actually strive to sleep at night.”
“What do y—”
“Don’t mind him, just come with me, Celeste..”
Zillon stretched out his hand to her and she reluctantly grabbed it after waving at Zillon’s friends. “Bye… tomorrow I guess.”
“Yes, you’ll definitely be seeing us tomorrow at your breakfast table.” Liam waved back to Celeste and then jerked Fredd’s shoulder with his. “Tell the angel goodnight, you godforsaken devil.”
“Goodnight angel, sleep tight.”
Zillon rolled his eyes at the two then hauled Celeste towards the stairs. One by one he climbed up them, then dragged her straight through his room door.
As soon as the door closed, he let her loose then ran a hand through his jet black hair. “F*ck are those two annoying…Celest—”
“Did you really sleep with all those girls?”
Zillon’s face melted into anxiety, his hand freezing in the midst of his hair. “Well technically, yes…but it was nothing serious, just one night stands.”
“O-Okay…”
“Do you perhaps have a problem with that?”
Celeste shook her head, turning to face away from him. “No.”
“You’re lying, you always refuse to look me in the eyes when you lie. Speak the truth, do you have a problem with the fact that I slept around?”
“I don’t.”
“Look at me, Kitten.”
Celeste shook her head, but as always Zillon knew just how to get her to concede, even if it meant forcing her. His index finger snaked under her chin, twisting her head in his direction. “It was a demand, not a question. Now speak up, be honest.”
Celeste shivered under his gaze, having no other choice but to hold onto the eye contact. “I-I don’t.”
“Then why did you look away?”
“Be-because the fact that you cheated on Celia…only means that you c-could cheat on me too.”
“I would never. I was young back then and the fact that I was an alpha and that I was good-looking had girls throwing themselves at me. I didn’t love Celia like I love you either, there wasn’t a matebond between us, the connection was empty, only our stubbornness kept us together. I probably cheated because of that, but at some point or rather when she found out, I stopped. I didn’t want her to leave and with you, it’s worst. If you ever left me, I really don’t know what I’d do, so I wouldn’t dare to cheat on you.” He smiled down at her, his hand enveloping her cheeks instead of holding up her face. “And why would I even cheat? You’ve got the full package; a pretty face, a nice body and the s*x is undeniably good. The moon goddess must’ve sketched you out just for me, you’re exactly my type.”
A blush crept up Celeste’s face and there was nothing she could do to hide it. “You’re an idiot.”
Zillon chuckled, stepping closer to her. “And you’re pretty.”
“I-thank—”
He leaned down, taking her bottom l*p between his and successfully cutting her statement short. Everytime they kissed, it felt new to her…she could never get use to how moist, how soft and how plump his lips were. They felt so good against hers, they fitted so perfectly.
She sometimes wished she could live in the moment forever, but since that’s not possible, she would instead wish to stay with him forever. She loved him so much, everything about him was flawless to her, she didn’t ever want to let him go.
His mark was on her neck, but she wanted hers on his too. She wanted to own him like he owned her and tomorrow at the mating ceremony, her wish will come through.
And afterwards, she’d take him back to that cave, she’d let him know that she had been wanting to stay by his side from the very first time they met there. She’d let him know that it wasn’t Celia who had encouraged him, it was her.
He’d have no reason to hold onto Celia then, because he said that was the reason why he had stayed by her side. He’d love her even more then, he’d truly be hers.
Wrapping her arms around him, Celeste pulled away from the k**s, catching her breath before diving right back in. He wouldn’t cheat, he said so himself and she’d believe him.
