The Alpha's Unwanted Mate -
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 79 Book 2 Chapter 11
Zillon twisted and turned and tried his best to get some sleep for tomorrow’s search, but no matter how hard he tried, he wasn’t able to…
His mind kept going back to Celia’s cell, he kept wondering what she meant when she said the time would soon come…
She sounded so sure of something, but Zillon couldn’t comprehend what exactly she was so sure of… His mind kept telling him that something bad would happen to Celeste and everytime he thought that way his heart would ache…
He hated how oblivious to everything he was… To her location…her situation…to any and everything that could and have already happened to her.
He hated how incompetent he was, he wasn’t worthy to be her mate if he couldn’t protect her, and if he couldn’t protect his mate, how would he be able to protect a pack?
Sighing he adjusted his head on the pillow, looking up at the ceiling, he wondered if she was okay, he wondered if she was happy wherever she was…
If she had willingly went, then perhaps she really wanted release from all the pain he had previously caused her, but goddess knows he was sorry for all of that, goddess knows how much guilt he’s living in, goddess knows how many nights he laid in this very room or sometimes in hers condemning himself…
He was so selfish back then, he had wanted her, but he didn’t want to let Celia go and when he finally did let go of her, he still managed to hurt Celeste in multiple different ways. He was just what his mother said; a selfish bastard who deserved to be alone for eternity.
She was so angry at him, she had cried even more than he did the night she left and his father had been disappointed too…but what would they have done?
He was sure they’d have fallen in the same trap too, but either way, he did deserve their anger, his father didn’t even want to hand down the alpha title to him, but whether he wanted to or not…he had to.
But Zillon wished he hadn’t, at least not yet, he wouldn’t have so many responsibilities on his hands, he probably would be able to protect Celeste more without a pack to protect too.
If only for once, he wished she’d come back and at least tell him to stop looking and tell him that she was happy, tell him that without him her world was brighter, but would he be able to let her leave again?
He was selfish, he’d have held onto to her no matter what, and when he finally replaces her, he’d do just that…
He wouldn’t let her out of his sight and she probably wouldn’t be able to step foot outside either. He’d be self-conscious, everytime she took a step, he’d think she’d run away again and for that, she’d probably hate him more.
Sighing, he stretched his legs looking towards her side of the bed. Every time she slept, her gorgeous, blond hair would be all over her face and the peace her beauty would bring him was enough to have him smiling at her closed eyes, at her perfectly carved red lips…
She was so outstanding that she’d light up his day even before the sun did…how could he not miss her when she was so essential to him?
How could he not miss her when their bond was so strong, so f*cking firm?
How could he not miss her when…?
Tears flooded Zillon’s eyes and immediately his hand swiped at them, he shouldn’t be crying, he should be searching, he should be—
He gasped, gripping the sheets when an unfamiliar pain gripped at his heart, clutching so tight around it. He g*****d, body going rigid as he waited for it to pass, but it didn’t, it only got worst.
He sat up on the bed, pulling his legs to his chest whimpering pitiful. What was this?
What was happening?
Could it be the severing of the matebond…?
Was she…finally learning how to forget him…how to unlove him?
Zillon’s eyes widen as he shuffled off the bed, ignoring the stake in his heart as he staggered towards the door. Liam and Fredd was just downstairs and whether they were coming or not, he had to replace Celeste tonight!
He couldn’t let this happen?
He’d search until he couldn’t feel his legs anymore, they couldn’t be far…perhaps they were just somewhere Zillon and his pack had refused to search…somewhere that no one could think of…somewhere…
Zillon didn’t know where, but it was somewhere…some_f*cking_where.
He walked through his door, heading down the stairs as fast as he could. He looked towards his sofa, replaceing Liam and Fredd cuddling on the one in centre. He walked over to them, shaking them awake….
With sleep evident on both their faced, they looked at him. “What the f*ck man?”
Zillon looked towards Liam. “I think…I think the bond is severing…she’s forgetting, she…she’s slowly losing her love for me…”
Liam rubbed his eyes, sitting up. “What do you mean?”
“I can feel it, the pain, the bond…”
“F*ck! Are you sure that’s the problem?”
Zillon nodded. “I want to start the search, I don’t care if no one else is coming, I’ll go by myself.”
He leaned away from them, preparing to walk away when Liam grabbed at his shoulder. “We’re coming, no question about.”
“Speak for yourself Liam, I need more sleep.”
Liam pulled Fredd off the sofa. “Shut up and come, don’t be a lousy friend. Zillon I think you should update the pack as well, mind link the trackers, tell them we’re going on a hunt…for real this time.”
A/N// Umm…how freaking pitiful…Poor Zillon, I wonder if he’ll replace her tonight…I wonder if the bond will be okay…
Celeste is forgetting about him…she said she’d do it and that stubborn little girl really is trying her best to…do you think she can really forget though…
Me? I don’t think so…I mean who could forget Zillon after he ****….
You know what my thoughts don’t matter, I’m a pervert, bye😖✌️
