The Apple of My Eye
Chapter 1491 No Way

After the car pulled over, Cassie pushed the door open. She was about to get out.

"Cassie!" Nick immediately seized Cassie's arm and pulled her back.

"Let go!" Cassie yelled as she struggled to get away from him with no prevail.

"No, I won't let you go!" Nick seemed to be doing it out of anger; he kept holding onto Cassie and even put a little more strength. Of course, he wouldn't hurt Cassie, but he wasn't going to let her go either.

"What on earth are you going to do?" Cassie yelled at him, mustering all of her strength. She started to cry, her tears falling down her cheeks.

"Cassie, don't cry. Please don't cry..." Nick froze, not knowing what to do next. He never expected that Cassie would cry in front of him. So he immediately let go of her and said, "Don't cry, please. I never mear to hurt you. I just don't want you to go."

But that only made things worse. Cassie cried even harder and Nick felt his heart aching.

He gritted his teeth and then pushed the door open. He got out of the car and ran over to the passenger seat. He gently pulled Cassie into his arms.

Cassie was crying so much that her vision was blurred by her tears. She couldn't see clearly what was happening.

She took this opportunity to fall into his arms. She continued to cry profusely.

"Cassie, please. I'm begging you. Don't cry. Please?" Nick lifted his hand to wipe her tears off her face, but more tears would replace the ones that he wiped away. Slowly, he lowered his head.

Their lips touched. It was something that was so sudden that it made Cassie stop crying. Her body trembled slightly.

"Let's go back. Let's go to my home, okay?" Nick whispered in her ear.

"Okay." Cassie nodded shy, suddenly soft-voiced and quiet.

Nick grinned at her words, overjoyed. He placed a kiss on her forehead and leaned away to get back into the car.

Cassie also got it, and Nick began driving. Perhaps it was the fact that he was longing the closeness with her, so he drove as fast as he could.

They arrived at his house 30 minutes later.

"How obsessed I am!" Cassie grumbled as she buried her face into the quilt.

But the quilt was soon lifted off her head. Cassie opened her eyes to see a passion-filled pair of eyes.

Nick was sitting right in front of her, hair still wet but he didn't want to bother with drying it. As he sat there, the drops ran down the side of his face, giving him a sexy vibe.

Cassie flushed, gripping the quilt and about to pull it over her head again.

At that moment, Nick remembered something important and got up.

"Nick?" Cassie opened her eyes when she felt Nick had gone away. She hadn't expected him to act like that, right in the most important moment.

Cassie felt angry and humiliated. She promised herself that she would never speak to him again.

"Honey, let's continue..." Nick leaned over to hold her into his arms as he was about to continue.

"Wait." Cassie pushed him away suddenly. Surprised, he turned to look at her. She had a determined look on her face. She got on her knees, leaning over him. Then she pulled the quilt over herself.
