The Assassin’s Billionaire Bodyguard -
Chapter 38
Isabella and Sabine raced up the eleven flights of stairs without stopping. When they reached the top, they were panting hard. "He better hope to f**k he didn't put his d**k anywhere on her."
Sabine noted the way the locks were on the door. "He's done this before Isabella. Look at the locks. He traps them here. He probably knew he'd pass out and figured he'd just do what he wanted with her when he came to."
"He's going to have a hard time doing anything to anyone with no d**k," she kicked the door impatiently as Sabine tried to pick the locks on the steel framed door. "He upgraded this door. A battering ram would have trouble getting in." She looked around to the window at the end of the hall.
She raced to the window and looked outside. She leaned out the window and caught the sight of a blowing curtain. "Open window," she hissed at Sabine.
Immediately Sabine was at her side and looked down to the ground below. "Well s**t, it's a long drop sister."
"Chicken," Isabella taunted as she edged out the window.
"Could we rappel from the roof instead of trying to swing sideways?"
"Something has to be faster than trying to pick those locks. I don't have -"
"Maybe you just needed my specialty gear," Josephine's voice carried from down the hall. Using a series of powerful magnets, Josephine was working the deadbolts like magic. "We couldn't reach Alpha, but Artemis gave us the go-ahead. Beta is in position on the rooftop across the street."
"Alpha is dealing with the a*****e who caused this," Isabella put her earpiece in Josephine had in her hand and admitted she had never in her life been so grateful to be part of the Bellona collective. She should have called it in to start with. She could have wept in knowing her team was with her.
"Epsilon, this is Artemis, confirm location." Artemis somehow knew when she'd had her earpiece in.
"Waiting for Delta to get us into the apartment."
"Your target is still on the phone with your girl. She has her calm and has told her to ignore all noises from outside until you specifically call her name. Once you go in Epsilon, she's going to know. Do you trust this kid?"
"Not as far as I can spit but let's be real, I don't even trust you Artemis. You could have Beta take my head off with a single command."
Artemis laughed in her ear. "Do your magic. Epsilon, you have control of the team."
She looked to Josephine as the last lock clicked. "Five locks. Why does this guy need five locks?"
"Heat signatures coming from the bathroom, bedroom one and bedroom two. Signature in bedroom two is faint." Corry, their Beta, whispered in their ears. "He has another girl, Epsilon."
"Explains the five locks," Sabine grunted.
They made their way through the room and Isabella immediately gagged at the stench. "Jesus Christ what is that smell?"
"Did he kill someone in here?" Josephine retched and looked around the room.
"No, death smells much worse than this," Sabine said quietly, "this is the smell of torture."
"I'm going to f*****g kill him," Isabella's words were blistering hot. "Delta, get whoever is in room two out of here. Gamma and I will get the target after we finish with the deviant."
"Done Epsilon," Josephine moved to the room and groaned. She turned back to Isabella, her eyes blazing through the eyeholes of her balaclava. "Kill the fucker slowly." Josephine sucked in a breath as she stepped towards the bed, her quiet voice reassuring the girl she was going to get her out and take her home and the girl's barely audible breath echoed in the quiet of the apartment.
Isabella stalked to the bedroom and motioned to Sabine to go to the closed bathroom door, "get her out of here. I don't want her to see or hear what I'm going to do to this son of a bitch."
"Isabella," Portia's voice from directly behind the bathroom door made her pause.
"f**k," she grimaced and looked at Sabine who lifted one shoulder in a shrug as she flipped a blade in the air nonchalantly. "Fine." She leaned against the door, "Portia, I'm here but I need you stay where you are for a few more minutes okay? There are things here I don't want you to see."
"I'm scared Isabella."
"You have nothing to frightened of, okay? I'm going to take you home as soon as we're done here. I just want you stay put for a minute, okay?" Sabine edged into the bedroom without her, and she grimaced. "Okay. I'll stay here."
"Good girl," she moved to where the man was passed out, naked and face down on his bed. Portia's top and skirt were on the floor and her cell phone too. She felt her blood boiling with rage as she bent and picked up the phone and tucked it into her waistband. "Hey a*****e, wake up," she leaned into his ear. He didn't move. She shook him and snore came out of him. "I really hate when they do this. I want him awake when I kill him." She didn't even bother to whisper.
The humor in Sabine's voice was evident as she said, "if you cut his d**k off, he will probably wake up rather quickly."
They flipped him over and both grimaced as they took in the drool-filled pillow. "Good thing she moved, or he would have drowned her," Sabine said with disgust.
"It's not even worth cutting off," Isabella made a face as she poked the man's tiny willy with a knife. "I feed the dog bigger dog treats."
"The dog has a bigger d**k," Sabine acknowledged. "You could use a pair of kindergarten safety scissors and cut it off."
"I'd like to," she looked around as if looking for a pair, "I really want it to hurt but this is going to be like a mole removal."
Corry's voice chuckling in their ear made them both look over their shoulders to where she would have them in her sights. "I need to see." They stepped aside and knew her scope was zoomed in on the man's small p***s. "Why is it the serial rapists always have tiny d***s?"
An idea popped into her head. "Shoot it off Beta," Isabella commanded and when she gave a flick of her hand, Corry fired a single shot lodging in the man's p***s, immediately causing him to bolt upright and awake. Posted by Narugi.com; visit us for more free novels.
"Now you're awake, fucker," Isabella grabbed his head and pulled his greasy haired head backwards, exposing his throat.
He screamed in agony clutching his crotch while blood spewed from his body.
"Here's the thing stupid, we would have found you eventually, but you very stupidly took the daughter of a very rich and powerful man and I know for a fact, he would want you to suffer." She motioned to Sabine to come closer.
"We tried to shoot your puny d**k off, but it was like shooting a cockroach in a mall," Sabine's eyes were cold and black as she yanked his face with one had to stare at the man, while pulling his arms behind him with her other hand. "We found the girls," Isabella whispered in his ear, "how many other girls have you done this to?"
"None," he shrieked as pain ravaged his body, "the girl in the other room was the first. She was the first and I wasn't going to get the girl tonight, but she was fighting with some guy and flirting with me, so I brought her back here." Isabella sighed deeply and looked at Sabine, "I'm a fifty-fifty split when they tell me all their secrets right at the beginning. I mean if I were going to save his life, it would be because he told me the truth. Do you think he's telling the truth?" "I've never brought anyone but those two girls to my home before." He was wailing, "please, I don't want to die."
"How many women have you raped?"
"Four," he admitted with a scream as Isabella dug her knife where the bullet had entered. "One in high school and one in colleague and a girl I worked with and then the girl in the other bedroom. I didn't touch this new one. I swear I didn't." "You would have though," Isabella stared at him seriously, "you would have hurt her and for that, my sad, stupid little man, you cannot be allowed to live."
"Cleanup crew in two," Artemis' voice cut into her ear.
"Fine," Isabella grumbled and held the man's terrified gaze as Sabine moved behind him. As Isabella plunged her knife into the bullet hole and pulled her blade upward, Sabine slit his throat in one movement before dropping him onto the bed. Isabella walked to the door and knocked. "Open the door, Portia."
The door creaked open, and it was obvious the girl was frightened of the image of the woman in the black knit balaclava. Isabella reached out her hand and touched her tear-stained cheeks. "You're safe."
She started crying again and Isabella slapped her cheek. She looked at her in surprise.
"You are going to come with me downstairs. You are not going to see anything or anyone on the way down," she took a mask in her hand. "I'm going to cover your face. You won't see anything and I'm going to put you on my bike. Then I'm going to take you home. Do you understand? I want you to nod if you understand."
She nodded.
"I saw your cell phone on the floor by the bed and I got it. Did you go back out there?"
"I have two phones. Daddy doesn't know. I had one to just message Evgeni. I had it tucked into the toe of my boot."
"Jesus Christ," she hugged the girl to her chest. "You are the most conniving dumb a*****e I've ever met and I'm so grateful." She ripped her jacket off and helped her get into it. It was miles too big, but it covered the younger girl to her thighs. "I'm going to mask you up. Okay? There are things I just don't want you to see."
"Okay," she closed her eyes as Isabella pulled the mask over her face.
"Thirty seconds Epsilon," Sabine called from the door.
"Coming Gamma," she hollered back.
"You're a whole team," Portia whispered. "Dad's going to freak."
Isabella didn't even know how to process what Portia was saying and she pulled her through the filthy apartment. Sabine helped her get her down the stairs and then helped get her onto the motorcycle.
"The best part of these jobs," Sabine asked seriously, "are they are neighborhoods where nobody looks out their windows to see what three crazy broads on the street are doing."
"Tell me about it," Isabella muttered. "Portia have you ever been on a motorcycle? The option is my bike or going with my friend in her car."
"The bike," she whimpered as the reality of what had happened, and she was safe started to really sink in. Sabine helped her with the helmet over the mask as a small crew of women emerged from the alley between the building and the building next to it and made their way inside.
Isabella started her bike and then without looking back, wove the bike through the streets until they were twenty minutes away from the rescue site. She then pulled the bike over and pulled the sobbing girl off the bike and wrapped her arms around her, sitting them both on the ground as she pulled both their masks off and held her close.
"It's okay Portia, you're okay and you're safe now. You can cry all you want to. You're allowed to cry as much as you need."
"My dad's going to kill me for sneaking out."
"He's going to be more relieved you are safe and secure."
"I don't even know how to thank you," she whispered with her head on Isabella's shoulder.
"Portia. I know I said I'd take you home, but I don't know what kind of drugs he slipped you. How do you feel? I can take you to a clinic."
"You killed him, right?"
"Yes"
"Do you work for my dad?"
"f**k no," Isabella laughed as they untangled from where they sat on the curb. "Though he'd be lucky to have me. No. I don't work for anyone." She lied. "My friend met me, and she helped me get you out."
"Did you ever kill someone before?"
"There's a question you should never ask of someone who just murdered for you."
"Right," Portia wiped the tears off her face. "You murdered someone for me."
"And I'd do it again if I had to, but please can you maybe just not do this again?" Isabella teased her.
"I promise. I promise I'll try to be less of an a*****e," she gave a sad smile. "I know they all call me the a*****e."
"Then stop acting like an a*****e." Isabella said simply and rose to her feet, pulling her upright. "Portia, you're smart and strong and I know you want your dad's attention but dating guys like Evgeni is the wrong way to get it." "Are you going to kill Evgeni?"
"When I'm done with Evgeni Andropov, he's going to wish he were dead. I'll let your father decide what to do with him after I'm done. He shouldn't have left you alone at a party when you're underage. Portia, what if you hadn't had the second cell phone? He put your life at risk."
"I know," she wiped a stray tear off her cheek. "I'm such a f**k-up."
"You're nineteen." She laughed and hooked her arm around her neck. "You're supposed to be causing your dad's hair go grey and making him crazy. Just stop hanging around with losers and ditching your security."
"Okay."
"Back on the bike, I'm going to take you home now. I'm going to drop you off, though, I'm not staying. I have something else I need to do."
Fifty minutes later Isabella was storming into the Andropov household unexpectedly.
