"Caspian, don't push it!"

Isaac saw the tears welling up in Brittany's eyes and hesitated to press further.

He gently squeezed her wrist, his warm fingertips brushing against her skin, a touch that felt oddly familiar to Brittany.

"Bri," he murmured, his voice low. "Stop seeing Willard."

Brittany's anger flared. "And what right do you have to tell me who I can and can't see?"

"Because we're on the same registry," Isaac whispered, almost biting her earlobe.

Brittany's pupils dilated in shock.

Isaac reached out, covering her eyes and gently pressed his lips to hers, tenderly, filled with sincere love.

"Just stay put with our son, and I'll sort out my mess soon."

"If you contact Willard again, I won't lay a finger on you, but Willard... I can't make the same promise."

Brittany instinctively tried to push him away but found herself immobilized as he pressed a specific spot on her back. A wave of numbness washed over her, and she collapsed into Isaac's arms. Isaac held her close, lifting her up and pressing her against his chest, kissing every inch of her skin with delicate care.

...

Brittany suddenly woke up to replace herself drenched in cold sweat, lying in her bed.

Remembering the events before she fell unconscious, she grabbed her phone only to see it was six in the morning.

Had it all been a dream?

Feeling bewildered, she opened her door and called out to a servant, "Did I go out this morning?"

"No, Miss," the servant replied, visibly shaken by her strange question.

Realizing it was indeed just a nightmare, Brittany returned to her room, but the man's words, his breath, and the kiss felt all too real.

Daniel, hearing from the servants about Brittany's bad dream, rushed over. "Mom, are you okay?"

Brittany calmed herself and knelt down. "Daniel, what's your father's name?"

Daniel hesitated before answering, "Isaac. Mom, did something scare you?"

Brittany couldn't recall any details about Isaac.

She tried to search for him on her phone but found no information.

Seeing his mom distressed, Daniel panicked, "Mom, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing, just a dream," Brittany reassured him, embracing her son.

Unable to focus on work, Brittany asked Daniel about their past.

"Dad said it was love at first sight for you two, and then I came along."

"Why did Dad disappear then?"

"He was in a car accident," Daniel said with a frown. "Everyone says he's gone, but I feel like he's still out there."

"Was I in the accident with your dad?"

Daniel, not fully understanding, replied, "Maybe."

"Do you have a photo of your dad?" Brittany wondered if Caspian was Isaac...

Daniel did have one but couldn't share it, respecting his father's wishes.

"No, Dad didn't like taking photos," Daniel lied.

Brittany was silent for a long time.

Yuri, concerned about Brittany's mood, sent Dr. Peter to see her.

"Miss, have you been troubled by anything lately?"

Brittany trusted Dr. Peter and looked down, "I've met someone. I think I really like him, but he has a family."

She didn't mention her interaction with Caspian, thinking it might have been just a dream.
