"Brittany is seriously hurt, why didn't you tell me?" A mix of confusion and anger filled Finn's eyes. "You misled me over and over again, making me think that Brittany dumped me. How could I have trusted you?" Realizing she could no longer hide the truth, Patrina clung tightly to his arm. "I made a mistake, but I really love you. You can't leave me."

What was supposed to be a joyful engagement party turned into a total mess. She had become the laughingstock of the entire Imperial City. She couldn't lose Finn, she just couldn't!

Finn shrugged Patrina off, his voice cold. "I want nothing more to do with you. The engagement is off."

Staggering, Patrina collapsed to the ground. "Finn, look at me..."

Seeing her daughter fall, Gianna rushed over. "Finn, Patty fell. Can't you see?"

Upon hearing the commotion, Robert arrived.

Finn stopped him. "You knew Brittany was hurt, didn't you?"

Robert chose to remain silent instead of responding.

Everyone knew it was Brittany who saved him, except him. He was left in the dark! Leaning against a wall, Finn shivered. What had he done to Brittany all these years?

He toyed with her feelings, betrayed her, and colluded with the Dustin family to push her into the fire. He let the Dustin family bully her.

Clutching his chest, he backed away. He had promised to protect Brittany for a lifetime when he was young. But in the end, he turned out to be the one who hurt Brittany! Overwhelmed, Finn spat up blood and fainted on the spot.

Brittany couldn't hold back her emotions any longer as she got into the car. She thought Finn had just betrayed their relationship, but it turned out this relationship was wrong from the start.

She believed that their four years of love, the future she once dreamed of, and every sweet word they ever said, were all sincere. But her sincerity turned out to be a big joke in front of Finn. Knowing Brittany was upset, Hannah couldn't replace the right words to comfort her. Brittany's eyes were red from crying, and her body was shaking slightly. "Bri, Finn isn't worth it."

It wasn't until an hour later that Brittany calmed down. "Can I come to your place tonight?"

She didn't want to go home right now. She needed a place to clear her head.

"Of course." Hannah left with Brittany.

On the eighth floor, Wesley watched the drama unfold from afar, shaking his head. "I can't believe Brittany has it so rough!"

Isaac glanced at him, seeming a bit curious. "Do you know her?"

"Sure, she used to work at VelvetGlow Jewellery. I quite liked the designs she sketched. It's a shame she quit."

Wesley didn't mention his investment, as things were still up in the air. Once there were results, he could brag about it. By then, he would be the next Warren Buffett! VelvetGlow Jewellery. So that was where she used to work.

Wesley had a hunch that something was off. He leaned in and asked, "Why the sudden interest in Brittany? Do you like her?"

Wesley wasn't surprised. After all, Brittany was a real knockout. Who wouldn't like such a beauty?

Faced with his question, Isaac suddenly said, "She's my wife."
