Chapter 732

Brittany felt a bit unnerved by his stare. "Overthinking much? I just didn't want you to faint at my doorstep again and have to drag you back inside."

Isaac blissfully ignored her, "You do care about me."

Brittany didn't say anything.

After a hearty meal, Brittany left with Daniel, accompanied by Isaac.

Upon dropping Daniel off at kindergarten, they conveniently bumped into Viola Miller.

The trio exchanged greetings, and the two children, hand-in-hand, entered the kindergarten.

Viola took an extra glance at Isaac, whispering, "Are you two back together?"

Just a few days prior, weren't they talking about divorce?

And then they're dropping off their kid together?

"No."

Brittany awkwardly glanced at Isaac, who picked up a call, gestured to her, and strode off.

Watching Isaac's retreating figure, Viola murmured, "He seems genuinely fond of you."

"But I genuinely want to keep my distance from him." Brittany knew better than anyone that Isaac did have feelings for her, but those feelings paled in comparison to the hurt he had caused her. Viola eyed Brittany and said, "I got divorced."

Brittany wasn't surprised, "I saw it coming."

Wesley and Isaac were different.

They were initially together because of mutual affection, and their breakup was merely due to family reasons.

Wesley might have made mistakes, but he was not beyond redemption.

"Are you and Wesley back together?"

Viola shrugged helplessly, "Not really."

"The Tueley family has loosened their hold." Viola hinted, "They learned that I had a daughter, and Albian Tueley personally came to apologize."

Albian used to look down on her because of her status, humiliating her in every possible way, even mocking her openly and surreptitiously.

And then, if she wanted to see her granddaughter, she had to swallow her pride.

Viola knew that the relationship between her and Wesley was not the issue. Her ex-husband, Bruce, wouldn't pick a real fight with the Tueley family for her sake. It was better to let go.

Brittany sighed, "Viola, Wesley might genuinely care for you. If you two make up, it could be a good thing."

Viola didn't want to discuss it further. Coincidentally, she received a call from Bruce. Their divorce procedures were not yet finalized, so she had to make another trip. After Viola left, Brittany drove to her studio and, upon entering, saw Kari waiting for her.

"Brittany, was everything all right last night?"

She only found out this morning that the call Nathan received was from Isaac.

She was worried that Isaac would give Brittany a hard time.

"It was fine. He just fell asleep outside my house." Brittany pushed open the office door, "How are those orders coming along?"

"They're progressing smoothly." Kari was indignant, "You guys are divorced. Why does he still cling to you?"

To her, Isaac was nothing more than a persistent man, relentlessly pursuing Brittany without any scruples.

"Enough about that." Brittany chuckled, "Next month, a grand event, the Crown Jewel Design Challenge, is being held in the country. Spread the word. Anyone in the studio interested can start preparing." "Got it."

Kari was determined to win the Crown Jewel Design Challenge. Many in the studio had heard about it and were already preparing.

After Kari left, Brittany received a call from the organizers, "Ms. Dustin, would you be interested in joining the judging panel for this year's Crown Jewel Design Challenge?"

Brittany had a strong influence locally, and her brand was one of the most powerful domestic jewelry brands in recent years. The organizers were banking on Brittany's influence.

Brittany took a few seconds to consider, "Sure, we can discuss this in detail."
