The CEO Wants To Divorce Me -
Chapter 138
Ezra frantically rang the doorbell, his face as gloomy as water, his heart twisting as his mind kept whirling with what Rosie Graham had said.
How could Arabella fall in love with someone else, he wouldn't allow it!
Ezra was furious as he waited for the door to open, his old cool image was falling apart, he was like a maniac out of control.
"Arabella, I know you're in there, open the door!"
Arabella cut off the call and listened to the angry roar coming from outside the door, she did not move while the sturdy security door emitted a violent vibration, as if Ezra was going to break through the door in the next second. "Arabella, how long do you think this broken door will hold me back?" Ezra spoke in a cold voice.
Just as Ezra was about to break it down, the security door clicked open.
Arabella looked at him calmly, without a trace of warmth in her eyes.
Ezra was like being poured a pot of cold water over his head, the anger inside him froze instantly, and he suddenly froze.
Arabella was standing right in front of him, but he felt so strange and out of reach that he was blocked by countless words of questioning. Arabella said coldly, "It's the middle of the night, you'll disturb the neighbors if you make such a scene, just come in and say what you want." She left Ezra with a cold back.
Ezra followed her into the living room with a flash of pain in his eyes, "Bella, why did you team up with Rosie Graham to lie to me?"
Even though he had heard the answer from Rosie Graham, he still refused to believe, he wanted to hear it from Arabella herself. Arabella looked at him expressionlessly, "Ezra, at this point in time, ask yourself, do you really love me?"
Ezra's thin lips twitched.
Did he love her?
If not, why couldn't he forget her in the past five years.
What was even more ridiculous was that he had found a double to keep around in order to ease his thoughts and remorse.
In order to make up for the mistakes he had made, he even put aside his pride and groveled to beg Arabella to return to his side.
"I love you, Bella," Ezra said firmly.
Arabella sneered and said with certainty, "No, you just still cling to the Arabella in the past, instead of truly loving me."
Ezra tried to explain, but was interrupted by Arabella.
"I asked Rosie Graham to stay by your side instead of me to prove this point, yet your behavior has confirmed exactly what I suspected."
"Ezra, people change all the time, and I am not the Arabella I once was."
Ezra's body swayed slightly, nearly losing his footing as the blood dripped from his heart and he was slashed again.
Although he still had a shred of sanity left, he was irritated by Arabella's words.
Arabella's eyes were cold as she continued relentlessly, "Since Rosie Graham is pregnant with your child, you will be responsible for her and marry her, and I will have no problem with that." Ezra's eyes flashed, "Bella, I can explain this matter."
It was all part of Arabella's calculation that she would never give him a chance.
Arabella said indifferently, "Ezra, since Rosie Graham is pregnant with your child, you should treat her well." A flash of pain crossed her eyes, "She's luckier than I am, because I'll never have another child of my own in my lifetime." Ezra shuddered as he thought back to the hurt he had inflicted on Arabella, causing her to miscarry.
Was it all his karma that he and Arabella had come to this point?
Ezra didn't want to resign himself to fate, but more than that, he felt remorse.
Arabella walked to the door and looked at him indifferently, "Go away, I don't want to see you again."
Ezra's heart clenched into a ball of pain, he was acutely aware that if he didn't fight for himself tonight, he and Arabella would never cross paths again in his life.
He walked up to her and sobbed, "Bella, are you really going to be so heartless as to break up with me?"
Arabella's lips curled up in a sneer, "The person most unqualified to judge me is you, Ezra."
The pain and hurt he had caused her was too much compared to that.
However, Arabella's final move had not yet been made, but it had already taken half of Ezra's life. If she succeeded in taking away everything from James's family at a later stage, what would Ezra look like? Arabella was getting more and more excited.
Ezra clenched his fists and said, word for word, "Bella, I will prove with the truth who I really love!"
He left without a backward glance.
Arabella stared at his back, her heart unmoved, she closed the door coldly and dialed Rosie Graham's number.
Rosie Graham had been distracted by Arabella's hang-up.
She clutched the phone and wandered anxiously from place to place.
The sudden ringing of her phone added to her panic.
Looking at the caller ID, Rosie Graham pressed the answer button in a panic, "How did it go? What did you say to Ezra?"
Arabella looked at the fish in the tank and warned, "Rosie Graham, you have caused me a lot of trouble this time, this is the first time and it will be the last time, if you don't know how to write the word "peaceful" again, neither you nor I will end up in a good place." Rosie Graham had been praised so much these days that she had forgotten her place. She can't listen to Arabella telling her what to do, "You know Ezra, he's a careful man, even if I imitate your appearance to nine points, it is impossible to be perfect." "What's more, Ezra had the intention to kill me, and I had to take care of the child in my belly, even if I didn't care about myself."
Rosie Graham shrugged off the blame, and Arabella laughed at her cunning.
"Rosie Graham, I know you're not willing to be driven by me, but you don't have a place in Ezra's heart, and the facts show that if you want to marry Ezra successfully, you can only depend on me." Arabella said meaningfully, "Think about it, once the news of the James's family in charge being played by two women leaks out, Ezra will be willing to let me go, but the rest of the James's family may not be willing to let you go."
Rosie Graham thought back to her own actions of ratting out Andrew James to get out of her immediate predicament, and she felt scared. She said, "I'm not as stupid as you think. As long as you keep your end of the bargain, I'll behave myself." The word "peaceful" was extremely ironic in Rosie Graham's case.
"Rosie Graham, you're on your own." Arabella snickered and hung up.
Rosie Graham was so angry that she smashed her phone, gnashing her teeth in hatred, "Arabella, you are so despised me, you will definitely regret it."
Rosie Graham was so angry that she smashed up the living room, causing the maids to tremble with the noise, but no one dared to come up and stop her.
When she had had enough, she sat down on the sofa and rubbed her flat belly, her eyes glowing with resentment.
As soon as she was really pregnant with a child, those who look down on her would all pay the price!
