The CEO Wants To Divorce Me -
Chapter 139
Arabella did not tell Noah Hall about Ezra's visit.
Ezra seemed to disappear and did not bother Arabella anymore. Rosie Graham did not dare to do anything else because she was "pregnant".
Arabella's jewelry business was getting off to a solid start, and Noah Hall was getting established at Hall's Family. Both were busy with their careers and rarely saw each other, let alone date.
Arabella finally finished her last big job and leaned back on the office couch, exhausted, thinking she desperately needed a relaxing vacation to destress.
She searched the Internet for nearby attractions, and just then Noah Hall sent her a message.
"Still busy? I'd like to meet with you, there's something I'd like to talk to you about in person."
"No, I'm not busy, I'm all finished with work and free these days."
"I'll pick you up."
When she saw Noah Hall's reply, Arabella quickly got up from the couch, cleaned herself up, and went downstairs to the office early to wait for Noah Hall. Half an hour later, Noah Hall arrived late.
"Sorry, there's a bit of traffic. You've been waiting a long time." Noah Hall hurriedly got out of the driver's seat and walked up to Arabella with a big umbrella. Seeing her cheeks flushed by the wind, he felt distressed and said, "Don't wait for me in advance next time, I will go up to meet you."
Arabella smiled and found an excuse to dispel his worries, "The company just finished a big project, I gave them all a holiday, everyone from the company left, I was a little scared to stay there alone, so I came down to wait for you, I didn't wait long." "Get in first." Noah Hall leaned his umbrella over and escorted her to the car.
Noah Hall turned up the heat in the car and Arabella looked down to buckle her seat belt when her nose suddenly caught a faint scent of roses.
She looked up and a huge bouquet of red roses came into view, almost filling the front half of the car.
Arabella subconsciously took it into her arms, with a warm smile between her eyebrows, "Are these the roses for me?"
Noah Hall uncomfortably averted his gaze, "I saw that all the female colleagues in the company had received flowers,, and it just so happened that I passed a florist on my way here and looked quite nice, so I bought them." Arabella sniffed gently and said happily, "I love them, thank you, Noah."
Noah Hall's ear tips flushed, "That's good that you like it."
For this moment, Noah Hall asked the company secretary for advice, and the answer was simple and pure- flowers and a date are the most romantic things a couple can do.
Noah Hall took Arabella to the French restaurant he had reserved in advance.
Despite Noah Hall's concealment, Arabella could see that all of the evening's arrangements had been orchestrated by Noah Hall.
Arabella did not tell Noah Hall about Ezra's visit.
Ezra seemed to disappear and did not bother Arabella anymore. Rosie Graham did not dare to do anything else because she was "pregnant".
"Noah, you said on your cell phone that you wanted to talk to me in person, what is it?" Arabella looked at him with a smile on her face.
"I have a small long vacation coming up and would like to go out with you, would you like to do that?" Noah Hall's eyes were fixed on her, not wanting to miss any little detail.
They had actually thought of the same thing!
Arabella said, "Yes, I'd like that, do you have any recommendations?"
Noah Hall was full of surprise, "I can go anywhere you want."
Arabella suddenly recalled a video she saw on the Internet two days ago promoting a five A-class scenic spot nearby, she took out her phone to search and handed it to Noah Hall for a look, "This spot is in Walt City, the online reviews are very high, if something happens to end the trip, we can also come back in time."
Noah Hall doted, "Okay, let's go there, I'll send someone to book the flight and hotel now."
With that, the two embarked on their journey to Walt City the next day.
They rested for one night at the hotel, and on the third day began to follow the tourist navigation manual, taking in all the sights in the city.
On the last two days of their trip, Arabella and Noah Hall decided to climb a mountain to see the sunrise.
But they didn't pick the right day, as the ancient temple at the top of the mountain was holding a festival, and there were so many visitors that the trail was crowded with people even in the middle of the night.
Arabella was halfway up the mountain, panting and sitting on the rocks to rest, looking at the roadside plan, she joked, "Noah Hall, let's race to see who climbs to the top first, and the loser, can unconditionally promise the other party a request, how about it?" Noah Hall looked at her with burning eyes and laughed, "Are you sure you want to compete with me?"
Arabella patted her chest and proudly said, "Don't look at me as weak, I have won many climbing championships before."
After she finished, she didn't wait for Noah Hall to react, turned around and ran up.
"Careful, don't fall ......" Noah Hall's words were not finished, Arabella's feet slipped and her body fell backwards. It's over, it's over!
Arabella closed her eyes in resignation.
The next second, there was a scream of terror from around the room.
Arabella felt her back hit a soft, warm body, followed by a muffled grunt in her ear.
Noah Hall lunged forward and held Arabella firmly in his arms, and a sharp pain swept through his limbs.
Arabella rose from his body in panic and said anxiously, "Noah, how are you?"
Noah Hall forced himself to hold back, holding her hand, and said easily, "Nothing, it's just that the stone slab is a little hard and hurts my back a little, are you hurt?"
Arabella shook her head, she carefully examined, saw the back of Noah Hall's hand rubbed off a large piece of skin, revealing a bright red wound, her eyes was reddened, "Your hand is bleeding so much, and you still say it's fine."
"It's just a few superficial wounds, a simple treatment, in a few days it will be fine, do not worry about it." Noah Hall said softly, "Don't cry, I can't see you shed tears."
Arabella lowered her eyes, her voice with a hint of imperceptible crying and trembling, "I will bandage you."
Noah Hall did not refuse and let her handle it.
Arabella was careful the whole time, afraid to make Noah Hall hurt.
Even though they did not cause serious consequences, Arabella's heart palpitated as soon as she recalled the frightening scene just now.
If Noah Hall had been in trouble because of her, she would have felt absolutely guilty for the rest of her life, and she shouldn't have suggested playing this boring game. Arabella was filled with remorse.
Noah Hall stared at her, "Bella, does the game still count?"
Arabella pursed her lips and looked at him without saying anything.
Noah Hall whispered, "I want to continue."
He admitted that he wanted to use this opportunity to let Arabella fulfill some long-cherished wish of his.
Arabella tied the bandage, threw the garbage in the trash, and held out her hand to him, "For a count, we'll walk up together."
Noah Hall refused, "Arriving at the same time, that's no reward."
"Who says so? I'll give you ten minutes away."
"I hurt my leg, not my hand." He made a point of emphasizing, "The lower half of my body is fine."
Arabella coughed lightly as a way to hide her discomfort, and she rolled her head away, her cheeks burning.
The corners of Noah Hall's lips couldn't help but rise.
Whether intentionally or unintentionally, Arabella walked deliberately slowly as they approached the summit, but they arrived almost simultaneously. The dawn was breaking and the morning sun was shining brightly.
Noah Hall picked a perfect spot to take a picture of Arabella, but there was a huge rock underneath, which was a bit of a struggle for Arabella to climb up. Noah Hall stood firm and naturally extended his hand towards the person behind him.
Arabella habitually put her hand on it, but at the moment Noah Hall pulled her up, she wrapped her arms around his neck and put her warm, cool lips on it. Noah Hall's pupils constricted and he almost forgot to breathe.
Arabella quickly let go, her voice tinged with satisfaction and fascination.
"It's a Valentine's Day gift."
