The Daughter Of The Mafia Boss -
Chapter 16
Violet braked the car a few kilometres from a shooting, she didn't understand what the hell was going on but what she was sure of was that it was near Dylan's house. She got out of the car as fast as her discomfort would allow her to. She ran to the back of Dylan's building, since she couldn't enter from the front she would have to go through the fire zone. He climbed the stairs with his heart pounding, just counting on him being up there and alive.
All the lights in the flats were on due to the commotion that had formed in her street, by the time she got to Dylan's flat she found that his window was open. Violet pulled out her gun and stepped carefully inside. Suddenly she stopped midway when she heard Dylan's voice, but he wasn't alone, there was another woman there.
-We have to get out of here fast, Dylan.
-Get out of here Emma, now.
-Emma?!" Violet whispers beginning to blind herself with anger, she grips the gun tightly as her teeth gnash.

The bullet shells fell like a golden rain on the floor, the din at that time of night was overwhelming in that community that wasn't used to gunshots, much less wars between mafia gangs... Demian reloaded his gun once more, the guys who had arrived were very well armed, making it difficult for him to carry out the mission he had in mind, and that was to climb that damn building to kill the bastard who lived upstairs.
-These assholes won't die with anything, I'm almost out of ammunition. And these idiots don't have any more guns," Liam grumbled, loading his last magazine.
-Demian, I'm out of bullets," the blond says, crouching down.
The shooting didn't stop, while they were running out of ammunition the enemies didn't stop firing. Demian was sick of it, they were being cornered.

While a war was raging outside, inside that flat all hell was about to break loose. Armed and driven by jealousy, Violet went out into the entrance hall of the flat to replace Dylan holding hands with a woman. She opened her eyes wide, raised her gun in the woman's direction, but Dylan had realized her intentions and lunged at her.
-Violet, no," he said, "I fell on her body, trying to take the gun out of her hands.
-Unhappy, let go of me at once.
-What's going on here? Who is this woman?" Emma shouted as she saw a woman planning to shoot her.
-Emma, get out of here now.
-But honey, why? Dylan, who the hell is this woman?
But he was too busy trying to keep Violet under his body, he had managed to get the gun away from her but that didn't mean she was no longer a danger. He looked down at the woman lying beneath him and judging by her expression it was obvious that she was pissed.
-She gets a punch in Dylan's groin to get him off of her, and she manages to get the gun away from him and gets to her feet but not for long because he grabs her by the waist again as he drags her back into the room, "Get the f**k off me. -Go away Emma, go away already mi3rda.
-All right, but you'll have to explain this to me.
The brunette leaves the flat, and as soon as she closes the door Dylan lets go of Violet and as she turns around the first thing he does is slap her so hard that she starts to bleed from the corner of her lip. As if she didn't have to deal with the punch Demian had given her that day, now she had to deal with the one with her daughter.
-With a demon Violet, what the hell is wrong with you?
-Who is that f*****g bitch? -She shouts angrily at her.
-Calm down, will you, and put that gun down.
Outside the scandal of the shooting was still going on, but that didn't stop Violeta from confronting that idiot, maybe the best thing was that her father killed him once and for all. Or better to do it herself. -Violet, we have to get out of here, it's not safe for either of us.
-I asked you a question, you bastard -She starts beating her chest, she was so furious with him.
-Calm down... now is not the time to talk about it, we have to leave.
Out of nowhere some gunshots hit the window, which made them dive to the floor to cover themselves from the glass and bullets.
-Violet, let's go," Dylan takes the brunette's hand and quickly lifts her off the floor, "Let's get out of here.
-My father wants to kill you." She stops him to look him in the face, she was angry with him but if they went out it was possible that her father would kill him.
-Don't worry-He cradles her cheeks with both hands-Let's go out now.
[...]
Demian and the others were out of ammunition, and asking his family for help would do them no good as it would take time for them to arrive and they might not have it by then.
-We should have called the boys long ago," Liam shouts over the din.
-There's no time for that now, Liam turns the building around and surprises them from behind.
-I'll try," he replies obediently.
-You and I will do this our way.
-As you say, you're the boss," he smiles.
Liam runs towards the guys who wouldn't stop shooting, his plan was to drop them from behind and try to disarm them and take their guns... he hid behind a car watching a group of guys reloading their guns, that wasn't good the bastards had an arsenal in the boot of the car. -Here we go," he mutters under his breath, running towards them.
The first one that was closer he grabbed him by the neck and with a surprising twist he broke it, his partner when he realised he tried to shoot Liam but he dodged him disarming him in seconds, with the handle of the gun he hit his adversary's head leaving him unconscious. He crouches down and ends up breaking his neck.
-Well, that was easy," he reloads the gun, looking out of the corner of his eye at more guys running towards the car where he was hiding.
[...]
Dylan and Violet rushed down the stairs, and when they reached solid ground, they started running towards the car that the brunette had left parked a few kilometres away. But as soon as Violet glances towards the scene of the shooting, she notices that Liam was attacking some guys.
-Liam," she mumbled, feeling like her heart was going to burst out of her chest, if he was there, her father was there too.
-No, don't even think I'll let you go.
-My family is there, I have to go." She releases her grip and runs towards the shooting, wielding her gun.
-Violet... with a demon-Dylan runs after her.
The girl noticed some men running towards where Liam was hiding, there were too many for him alone. She ran in his direction aiming towards the enemies, she sees that Liam was about to shoot so she stops on the spot, she breathes calmly and starts to aim shooting one by one in the head... Liam notices the presence of the little Morgan and is surprised by her maneuver.
-Demian, that's Violet," Daniels exclaims behind his back.
-That girl! -He clenches his fists as he sees Dylan running towards her.
Demian and Daniels watch as the young girl shoots in a very accurate manner, taking down all the enemies.
-She's quite the Morgan," the blond smiles. And that was what Demian was worried about.
Violet was shooting quickly at each subject, all of them falling lifeless to the ground... Dylan watched that slim and delicate young woman take down all those subjects without a tremble in her pulse. And he wondered, how come he was so attracted to her? Dylan's instincts kicked in, he ran towards the brunette, pulled out the gun he had seen on her back and immediately fired a well-aimed shot at the subjects. They all fell to the ground at once. -Dylan," she exclaimed in astonishment, "Wasn't he just a teacher? How did he know how to use a gun? And like that!
-We must go, now.
Violet takes a look around noticing that there was no one left standing, except for Liam and... Her father and her uncle who were getting out behind a car and were heading towards them, the brunette noticed that her father was armed and that made her take two steps backwards. If her father's theory was true that Dylan was the enemy, how come he had saved her a*s just now. Her thoughts were so jumbled.
-Violet, don't do it," Liam shouted.
