The Daughter Of The Mafia Boss -
Chapter 37
No matter how hard she tried to resist Dylan it was impossible, no matter how much combat training Violeta had, she couldn't get Dylan off her, because of his stature, his corpulence and because of a very important factor, she had a crush on him. And after receiving that kiss he knocked her out, he knew very well how to win a battle while Dylan had the upper hand and she had the upper hand to lose.
By the time the kiss deepened on both sides, the caresses became fiercer and more urgent. It was as if they could no longer stop, Violet had spread her legs so wide that Dylan was snug between her thighs. The brunette clung to his back, trying to pull his shirt off. -Violet," he groaned as he felt her pull it up. Wait, you're not...
-No, shut up.
She pressed the kiss, dragging Dylan into the madness, because she suddenly tore open his blouse with one tug. Once the garment was ripped, she took hold of Violet's breasts, getting pleasurable moans from her partner. Then he slid his hand down Violet's naked thigh, feeling the wetness on her skin, which prompted him to stop the madness.
He pulls away from her and then brings his hand to her face, noticing that it is completely soaked with blood. He sits up a little and that's when he notices that Violet's body rests under a large stain of that crimson liquid.
-For heaven's sake Violet, we've gone too far," he finishes by sitting up.
Dylan checked the wound, noticing that the stitches were gone, and a lot of blood was gushing out of the wound. The first thing the doctor warned him, and it was the first thing he did, he was an idiot. To come and get all hot and bothered with that woman, and in the state she was in.
-I'll call the doctor to see you again," he says, turning away from her.
Why, are you guilt-ridden that I'm going to bleed to death?
-What the hell are you saying? Can't you see you're losing a lot of blood.
-Then why did you lie to me? You brought me to this place just for a bloody vendetta between families, you miserable bastard Dylan Dallas.
Dylan sighs heavily, she seemed determined not to believe him. He takes some things from the table that would be useful to heal Violet's wound, he sits on the edge of the bed and begins to sanitize the wound knowing that he was under the watchful eye of this woman.
-Some years ago my mother suffered a terrible accident," he says as he cuts the stained gauze. She died because of a senseless revenge. My father has many enemies, like all mafiosi, and that cost my mother her life. Since that happened, I decided to stay away from this damned life that only brings misfortune," he smiles bitterly. Unfortunately, I'm Alonzo Dallas' only son, and of course he's not willing to let me go.
-What are you talking about? -She watches as he carefully cleans his leg.
-I tried to get away from this rubbish life, I no longer wanted to murder people even if they deserved it. Or try to seek more power than I already have. I just wanted to live a normal life, that's why I left here, erased my past and forged a present as a teacher. -And you thought that was going to work for you?
-For a while it did, but happiness doesn't last long, does it? -You came into my life and you turned everything upside down, you brought the past into my present and...
-I ruined everything? I ruined your perfect world of peace..." Dylan looks at her tenderly.
-No!" He smiles, taking her chin, "You came to make it better, even though you dragged me into the world I've been running from, I don't care because you're here with me. Violet's heart shudders, she has never felt so vulnerable and so strong at the same time. Dylan's words filled her with hope, hope she shouldn't have. -You...
-I love you Violet.
The brunette covered her mouth with both hands from the shock of the news, Dylan was proposing to her, or rather he had proposed to her completely. It wasn't in the best of places, but it was a declaration. He bit his lips, he had no idea what the hell he was going to say to her now.
-There's a saying that goes, he who is silent gives," he smiled, moving closer to her lips to kiss them. I don't care that you're Demian's daughter, and I don't care that I'm the son of your father's enemy, I love you and I'll fight against anyone to have you by my side. -Dylan..." He whispers in a whisper.
-Just tell me you love me, Violet," he cradles both of her cheeks with his hands.
-I...
-I know you feel something for me, something very strong, it goes beyond you.
Feeling too afraid to answer her true feelings, Violet keeps silent and it was when the door of the room opens, letting in an armed man.
-Your father requests your presence, young Dylan," he looks at Violet in the hope that she will answer him, but she says nothing.
-I'll be there in a moment," the guard left, leaving them alone. I'll be back soon, I promise.
-I'll be back soon, I promise.
-Please don't leave this room." He leaves a kiss on her lips. It's not safe for you to be outside without my company.
Violet lets out a long sigh, she looks down at her leg detailing a perfect bandage. How could Dylan be the enemy when he's been protecting her all along? Hell, he was Alonzo's son, his father's enemy!
-If Dad comes to this place he'll murder everyone, including Dylan. I can't let that happen.
And the reason was that she loved Dylan madly, she loved that man and as much as he would fight for her, the feeling was reciprocal. But the worst of all was that she couldn't tell him about her feelings, now she felt horrible for being a coward for not expressing her love for Dylan. What if she didn't get to see him again? What if something happened from one moment to the next?
-Damn, I have to look for him," she said, standing up, but as she did so, she felt a sharp sting in her leg that disoriented her a little. Damn wound," she mumbled.
Pushing aside the pain, she manages to set her foot on the floor. She walked to a wardrobe for some loose fitting clothes, as soon as she was dressed she walked to the door and grabbed the doorknob and suddenly Dylan's words came to her thoughts.
He might have been right, but she needed to go out and replace him and tell him the truth. She sensed that something very bad was about to happen... determined she opened the door to replace a completely empty corridor, wasn't she important enough to deserve to be watched? -Damn guards!
She took the open way that led to a flight of stairs at the end, and followed the path of that tasteless carpet. The corridor was lined with doors, but I suspect that if Dylan's father wanted to see him, it would be most appropriate for them to meet in an office. And that place could only be downstairs.
It wasn't right what he was doing, disobeying Dylan's order, but so what? If he wouldn't obey his father, he wouldn't obey this man.
