Dylan opened the doors of his father's office wide, focused on the man who, despite his age, was still quite preserved. -What do you want? -Dylan stops in front of him without a hint of indulgence.

-Just because she'll be with us for a while doesn't mean you're going to forget about the problems we have here.

-That's why you sent for me, for a silly thing like that," he denies, turning away.

-Wait... we have business to talk about. You've spent a lot of years on the outside, so it's a good time for you to get up to speed on things.

-Tell me something I don't know, Alonzo.

-Ah! -So you've been doing your job all this time?

-I may have stayed away from all this crap, but I was always on top of it. -Ah!

-And why didn't you see it coming that every time Violet Morgan was in danger my hands were in the way?

Dylan clenched his fists as he stood with his back to his father, never suspecting it because he didn't know these people. Although for a few moments he believed it, but when he saw Violet or her family being attacked, his thoughts went elsewhere. So he ended up thinking that they were simply enemies of the Morgans.

-So it was you? You've put Violet's life in danger on more than one occasion.

-Well, killing the teacher didn't do much good... so I thought why not try it with the Morgan, maybe that would help you come to your senses.

-You're a bastard," he replies, turning around, "I won't forgive you for trying to kill Violet.

-Come on, don't tell me you've fallen in love with that woman, because you know very well that I won't allow such a union, you'll never get involved with a daughter of Demian," he replies deadly serious.

That's when Dylan turned around to face his father, the boy thought that if he had to face his father just to be with Violet he would do it. But he wasn't going to let her touch a single hair on his head, he'd already been hurt enough. Good thing she was a strong and stubborn woman, because if she had been a delicate flower she would have been dead long ago.

-If I have to murder you, I will, I hope that's clear to you.

-You know very well that you can do nothing to me, any more than I can do anything to you. I couldn't kill my only son, the one who inherited absolutely everything.

-I don't care about your power, and you know that.

-But you'll have to agree to do as I say, or your precious Morgan dies. And you, you'll have no chance of escaping from here because I'm going to lock you in a bloody cellar until you come to your senses. Can you understand that?

He took a deep breath, his father was a bastard. The only way he could get him off his back for good would be to put a bullet in his head. He was her father, but he was a miserable bastard who didn't deserve to live. Because of him her mother died, and after her death Alonzo acted as if nothing had happened.

-You blame me for her death, don't you? -She looks at him defiantly. You think it's my fault your mother died.

-And it wasn't?

-Everyone has an enemy, unfortunately bad luck befell your mother. She was very careless, she knew the life she would lead when she married me.

-She loved you, but you never really loved her. We've never been a family since I was alone with you, when she was there I felt good, but when she left everything changed.

-And what did you expect? That we would be like the Morgan family?

-Yes," he answers sincerely, and that's when Alonzo stands up and hits the desk hard.

-How dare you say that to my face, you ungrateful bastard! If it wasn't because you are my son I swear I would kill you.

-I serve you better alive than dead, then who will take your filthy place.

Alonzo glared at his son, that he would mention to him that the Morgan family was the best made his blood churn. All those bastards were labelled as the best family, united, each had the other's back, and it seemed his son had picked up on that stupidity. Ever since his wife was killed Dylan had become uncontrollable.

-You won't get any of what you expect here Dylan, so you'd better get your mind out of your head. And get serious about what's really worthwhile.

-And what's it worth?

Violet walked carefully through the enormous house, after descending the steps the young woman was surprised that inside the house there were no guards, if they were under threat. Apparently Dylan's father was feeling quite confident. She ignored that detail moving on to who knows where, she had no idea where she was supposed to go. So she took the first path she saw, which led her down a rather gloomy corridor. The brunette spotted a door at the end which was half open.

She moved a little closer when she heard Dylan's voice...

-I hope you've let him know who's in charge here, you and nothing but you are in charge here. So act like it, Violet Morgan must be eliminated. And if not by your own hand, then by mine.

The chestnut frowned, what the hell was going on, were those two planning to assassinate her, what the hell were they up to, her heart was filling with hatred once again until....

Violet's body was pushed towards the door allowing her to enter Dylan's father's office. Both subjects looked at her with a frown.

-Violet! -Dylan scolded her.

-I found this stupid girl spying on them.

Emma's voice echoed behind Violet's back which made the chestnut's blood boil, she thought she would kill the wretch for laying her hands on her. But the young woman decided to put that aside, and asked herself the important question, what the hell was she doing there, Violet watched her walk by her side feeling her blood boil as she walked in Dylan's direction.

-What are you doing here, Emma? -Dylan asks, eyeing her suspiciously.

-I came to check on big Dallas.

-You don't say! -She folds her arms.

-Well, a girl needs some love now and then. Besides, I had to see my future husband.

-You're a son of a bitch, I'll rip your f*****g bitch face off," Violet yells loudly.

-No, calm down," Dylan takes her in his arms. Please calm down.

Emma smiles mischievously at Violet's reaction, and then they both notice a very strange occurrence. Emma walked over to Dylan's father's desk and positioned herself at the back of his desk, placing her hands on his shoulders. Dylan frowns as he sees the mocking expression on his father's face. Then he smiles.

-I see, since you couldn't catch the son you decided to catch the father.

-I'm telling you, I'm tired of waiting for you.

-You have no values.

-I hope it wasn't too much of a stretch to bring you here, burning down the university and destroying your house was pretty over the top, but I figured I should cut off all those relationships that tied you to being in Oregon.

-So it was you? I didn't have to do it, you destroyed a fine institution.

-Well, blowing up that stupid girl's car was a great idea. -Well, blowing up that stupid girl's car was a great idea. Blowing things up is my thing, isn't it, honey? -The young woman leaves a kiss on Alonzo's cheek.

-You're definitely a master at blowing things up.

-They're made for each other.

Violet's irritation changed drastically, a moment ago she was completely jealous and now she only felt angry that this woman was just playing with them. She wasn't Dylan's fiancée, she was the bloody old man's fiancée. The brunette looked at that wretch thinking of a thousand ways she could murder that woman.

-Do you want to murder me? -Emma asked Violeta mockingly.

-I'll put a bullet in your chest, bitch.

-You don't scare me, Violet. You've never scared me." She flashes a smile that propels Violet forward, but Dylan's arms stop her.
