The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric) -
Chapter 2019 Throw Me Away Too
The female colleague also had a child at home, so she was very sensitive to children's emotions.
She could feel it.
This child had an inferiority complex, and he should not be so sensitive at this age.
Another male colleague echoed.
"Yeah, he slept with me in the dormitory last night. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to coax him or that he would cry, so I was prepared to stay up all night. But the child knew how to wash his face, hands, and feet all by himself and even went to sleep alone. He didn't bother me at all. The next day, he was already awake when I woke up. He's such a sensible kid. I think I'd wake up laughing in my dreams if I had such an obedient kid...
"Hahaha! You need to get a girlfriend first!"
Everyone was talking and laughing, so they did not notice that Eric had walked in with a dark face.
Eric frowned, and his eyes were deep and cold.
Mitchell coughed from behind.
The crowd suddenly stopped laughing.
Eric pushed the door into the conference room.
The child was sitting obediently in the chair with his head lowered. When he heard the sound, he suddenly jolted upright.
He climbed down from the chair and silently walked in front of Eric.
The child was wearing the same clothes from yesterday. It was just a little wrinkled.
He looked at Eric eagerly, took out a sticky note and pen that he carried with him from his pocket, and wrote letter by letter, "You are my daddy."
Eric narrowed his eyes and did not speak.
He was looking at the child with scrutiny.
The boy continued to write, "Will you throw me away too?"
He held up the post-it note and looked at Eric's face cautiously.
That cautious look made Eric feel sorry for him.
The boy said "too".
Eric's eyes flickered slightly. He felt sorry for the boy, but when he thought about the boy's mother, Eric's heart became cold.
He looked at the boy in front of him.
"What's your name?"
He vaguely remembered that Angie seemed to have mentioned it, but he did not take it to heart at all.
The child's expression eased up, ;d-=YJV= he immediately wrote his name.
"Chance Ferguson."
Eric was slightly surprised that this child could write so many words. However, it made sense because the boy could not speak, so he was forced to write.
His last name was Ferguson.
Heh...
That was Angie's intention.
Eric looked at Chance with cold eyes, and his tone was indifferent.
"Are you a mute?"
Chance lowered his head instantly as if he had done something wrong. He tried to cover up his reddened eyes.
He stood there with his feet together, looking lost. His little body was tense as if he had accepted this kind of condescending and pitiful gaze from others countless times. He also braced himself to hear some mocking words.
Eric saw the boy looking like this and narrowed his eyes.
"You've been living with Angie?"
Chance raised his head and shook his head.
Eric raised his eyebrows and did not continue to ask.
As long as Chance did not follow Angie, Eric could have a better attitude toward him.
It did not matter to Eric who raised Chance.
Angie only thought about how to expand her power, so she probably did not have time to take care of Chance personally.
Eric pursed his lips and pondered for a moment before he spoke.
"We are father and son biologically, so I won't throw you away. I'll arrange a place for you as long as you're obedient."
Chance raised his eyes, looked at him for a few seconds, and simply nodded.
His eyes overflowed with joy, and he relaxed as he thought, 'Great! Daddy doesn't hate me or disown me.'
Eric did not want to see the boy's innocent and cautious gaze anymore as if he owed the child.
After Eric finished speaking, he turned around and walked out.
Chance chased after Eric for a few steps but did not catch up. The door of the conference room was slammed shut in front of him.
He was stunned for a few seconds, then lowered his eyes again.
Mitchell came in and squatted down to look at him with a smile.
"Little Young Master, I've contacted a few schools for you. I'll accompany you to take a look at the schools today, then you can choose the one you like, okay?"
The light in Chance's eyes dimmed as he thought, 'It turns out that the good place Daddy arranged for me is school, just like Mommy...'
Chance lowered his head and remained silent. He seemed to curl up into a cocoon to protect himself.
Mitchell did not understand why Chance was so disappointed all of a sudden.
He guessed that Chance was not that happy because Eric sent him to school.
Mitchell touched Chance's head and sighed.
"Mr. Ferguson will always be your father. He already acknowledges you, so he won't neglect you. He just has a bit of a grudge because of your mommy, so he needs some time to accept you. I hope that you can understand."
Chance slowly raised his head and looked at Mitchell.
He seemed to understand something.
Mitchell took Chance's hand and walked out, coaxing him patiently. The child's expression soon returned to normal.
Ingrid screamed when she knew that she lost her child in the hospital.
The doctors did not dare to approach her.
Eric did not even want to see her.
When the doctors changed Ingrid's medication, they took the opportunity to add some tranquilizers so that Ingrid would not continue to make a fuss.
When Ingrid was awake, she gasped for breath, and her face turned pale.
Mitchell came over to take a look and said politely, "Ms. Ferguson, Mr. Ferguson will get someone to send you to Mrs. Ferguson. You can recuperate there." Ingrid looked haggard and sad.
"You killed my child!"
Mitchell paused.
"Ms. Ferguson, you ran away before the surgery started. Your child died because you fell on your own."
This sentence made Ingrid's expression change.
It stabbed her like a thorn.
"If you hadn't chased me, I wouldn't have run away!"
She cried and yelled to vent out her emotions.
Mitchell paused. "No one was chasing you. Mr. Ferguson is kind enough to give you a chance. I hope that you can consider the bigger picture."
"The bigger picture?! Why should I think about the big picture? Why do I have to get Eric's permission to have a child? When he was obsessed with that b*tch Nicole, why didn't he think about the big picture?!" Ingrid cried hysterically.
Mitchell's eyes narrowed. He took a few steps back and looked at her coldly.
"Mr. Ferguson has given up a lot of things because of the consequences you caused. Ms. Ferguson, you should be grateful to him."
After that, Mitchell tidied up his sleeves, pursed his lips, and said, "Someone will come to pick you up at night, Ms. Ferguson. Please get ready."
Mitchell left, and Ingrid cried a lot.
She suddenly thought of something, took out her phone, and called someone.
"Our child is gone..."
Eric got in touch with Quinn, but because the location was kept secret, Eric planned to drop Ingrid off in person.
In the evening, Eric went to the hospital.
The VIP floor was quiet.
His footsteps were clear as they echoed in the hallway.
Eric stopped for a moment at Ingrid's door, knocked on the door, and pushed the door open.
"Ingrid..."
As soon as Eric finished speaking, he saw the person sitting in front of the bed.
His face was cold, stern, and even gloomier than before.
"When did you arrive?"
Eric narrowed his eyes and looked at Tyler.
Tyler's face was cold and twisted.
He sat there and looked at Eric with a wicked smile.
"Brother-in-law, how could you do this? Your sister was pregnant with my child. How could you just abort it without my permission?"
