The Headmaster Alpha's Mate
The Headmaster Alpha’s Mate Chapter 105

Chloe looked out on to the large field where slowly, the omegas of Jorvick pack begun to gather, her heart breaking as she saw them visually shaking with fear. Most of them had a grey tinge to their complexions, all were severely emaciated, and the smell that hit her sensitive nostrils, caused her stomach to lunge. All of them had their head’s shaved, each had a number pinned to their clothes. She had to concentrate hard on not bursting into tears, Chloe knew it was going to be bad, but never in her wildest dreams did she believe it would be this horrific.

Zander let out a low menacing growl in the direction of Tristan and Pia as he observed the people who were their pack members laughing and mocking the omegas, cat calling them horrific names, because of their appearance. Caesar was losing his mind, trying to force himself out, and end the two wolves that had caused so much suffering, who refused to look at the omegas as anything other than disposable workhorses. Alpha’s and their Luna’s swear an oath to protect the pack, and like it or not, omegas were pack members, Tristan and Pia had never protected the poor terrified wolves that stood before them.

“Caesar, you will get your chance with these people, I promise you, but not yet. We have to rescue the omegas, not just from this pack, but from every pack that we visit, if we fight now, we lose the war, calm down.” Zander argued with his wolf, begging Caesar to see the bigger picture.

“Let’s stay and make them all shave their heads, and go without food, working and living like they have treated their pack members.” Caesar growled in anger.

“No Caesar, two wrongs, never have, nor will they ever make a right, a spoon full of honey, traps better than vinegar ever can.” Zander reminded his wolf, just what they stood for, and a fair fight was one thing, but treating those wolves, as despicable as they were in the same spirit they had treated others would make them just as bad as they were.

Zander grasped onto Chloe’s hand, squeezing it tight, hoping she could help keep his wolf calm, but he noted her own battle with Sheba, who was in full agreement with Caesar, or, that they should just kill the leadership of the pack, and not look back.

Taking a long breath, Zander took a step forward, then began to address the omegas.

“I am the Ultima Alpha Zander Colton, this is my mate, the Luna Princess Chloe Colton. We run the Crescent moon pack and oversee the running of the Silverback pack and Silver moon packs, in Scotland. We also have alliances with 12 other packs around the UK. After discussions with Tristan and Pia, we have come to an agreement, which gives each of you a choice, without repercussions.”

Tristan and Pia, both bristled at the lack of their rank being used, and Chloe smiled inwardly, these people did not deserve a rank, or to be referred to as Alpha and Luna, and she was pleased her mate had slighted them in this way. Chloe looked at Zander as he nodded at her, and she took over the conversation.

“In our packs, we live in peace and harmony with omegas and humans, some of my best friends are just that, human and omega. In fact, our daughter is an omega wolf, rescued from another pack that operates as Jorvick does. Omegas are treated with love, kindness, and most of all respect. We recognise that each of you have a valid place in a pack. We also believe that everyone should be given an opportunity to progress in the pack, irrespective of rank, and work to help give each of our pack members a chance to fulfil their dreams. All of our omegas are housed in accommodation, that is clean, big enough for them and their family, are fed four meals per day, with snacks as they want, are given a fair renumeration package for their work in the pack, so that they may spend their own money as they see fit. Everyone has free medical and dental care, that our pack pays for, at the pack hospital. Children are given an education at our Academy, where my mate is the headmaster, irrespective of rank. All pack members are involved with training, so that each of them can learn how to defend themselves, should the need arrive. Any pack member who dares to bully or harass another because they are lower in rank, is immediately stripped of their rank, and punished, in accordance with our laws, so that every member is protected.”

The omegas all looked to the ground, unable to raise their eyes towards such powerful wolves, but each of them listened intently, wondering how this was possible. Some of the omegas who had attended the games at The Crescent moon pack, nodded their heads in agreement with what Chloe and Zander were saying, they had witnessed it with their own eyes, and could attest to the fact that they were given food and water by the pack members of Crescent moon, when they were there.

“Today, my mate and I struck a deal with your leadership, and they have made a promise, that any of you who wish to leave this place may do so without fear of repercussions. Isn’t that correct Tristan?” Zander stated, his voice full of a challenge towards the young alpha.

Tristan bristled, he was backed into a corner, and he knew it, and could not be seen to go back on his word.

“It is true, if you want to leave the safety of this pack, and all the benefits you receive from our protection, you may leave within the hour, anyone remaining here, which I am sure you all will, continue as normal.” Tristan stated.

A hum of mutterings echoed around the field, as the ranked Jorvick pack members stood shocked, that their alpha had agreed to this preposterous idea that the omegas could leave, after all, who would wait on them hand and foot, if they all decided to go.

“Also, both Tristan and Pia, agreed, you could go where you like. I believe the phrase was, if they can replace a better hole, to crawl to it. Isn’t that correct?” Chloe added, glaring at Pia.

“Yes, you can go where you like, without repercussion. However, if you leave, and become rogue there is no coming back, as rogues are enemies of our pack.” Pia added, trying to instil more fear into the omegas, forcing them to stay.

Chloe looked at Zander and gave a small smile, thankful the stupid woman had once again fallen into their trap.

“So, with that in mind, My mate and I would like to welcome you to come with us, you will be given food, and accommodation, along with medical care, and once you are all strong enough, you can then choose if you would like to remain with us, or one of our sister packs. Or you can choose to go rogue, or live in one of our allied packs, that choice is yours. NOBODY will force you to do anything. We will protect you!” Zander’s voice boomed out, a clear warning to the Jorvick pack, and their Alpha and Luna.

The young warriors all stood, in various places around the field, poised, ready to fight if an attack ensued, as the atmosphere changed from shock to hostile when they realised Zander was offering them a place with his pack.

One of the Jorvick female warriors, who was around 17 or 18 years old stepped forward, a low warning growl erupted from the crescent moon youngsters towards her. She held up her hands in a placating manner but proceeded to step forward.

“Ultima Alpha Zander, and Luna Princess Chloe, I was present at the games, and I witnessed how fairly you treat all your pack members, if some of our warriors expressed a wish to leave this place, would you offer the same sanctuary?” she bravely asked.

“Yes, we would.” Zander stated.

“Then I want to leave this place, and come with you, I would rather be an omega in your pack than continue to live where other wolves are treated like our omegas are.” She stated, then took a step towards the crescent moon young warriors.

Tristan let out a low growl, as Pia looked at the warrior who had chosen to leave their pack with malice in her eyes, her nails elongating, as she struggled to control her shift.

Chloe stepped in front of Pia, her head tilted to one side, and let out a warning growl at her, before using her full royal tone.

“Stop” the one word, had every wolf around other than Zander baring their necks in submission.

Pia felt the full force of the royal wolf, and instantly whimpered under its intensity, then began to shake just as the omegas had when faced with her presence.

Chloe gave a small, satisfied smirk to Zander, who turned once more to the omegas.

“Please, you have ten minutes to make your choice, if you wish to leave this pack, then file out behind my mate, she is more than capable to protect you, and we will remove you from here.” Zander stated, his voice full of authority, but laced with kindness and compassion.

Two more warriors from the Jorvick pack stepped forwards and began a line behind the young girl deserter, as the pack members began to call them traitors.

A small omega boy, who was no more than 6 years old stepped out and with his head bowed low, he stood behind Chloe, a murmur went through the omegas, and slowly, one by one, they started to stand behind the princess. Suddenly the trickle, turned into a tidal wave, as the omegas rushed to stand behind Chloe and Zander

Tristan let out a lowed growl of frustration, as fifteen of his 23 omegas chose to leave their pack, leaving him with only 8 omegas.

“Well, thanks to you, these have a lot more work to do, hope you are all happy, that your actions today have caused your fellow omegas a lot more hardship.”

Chloe could feel the guilt coming from their new additions, as the 8 omegas gasped in fear of what was going to come their way.

“There is still time to change your mind.” Pia shouted out, feeling like those who had chosen to leave would come back and support the others. But her words did not work as she had hoped, as the remaining 8 quickly ran and joined up with the others, standing behind Chloe.

“Students, please escort our new friends to the bus, protect them all with your life.” Zander’s order echoed around the field.

A howl, began to cry out, as a woman ran to the 18 year old warrior who first made her decision.

“Why, Zoe? why do this, what about me and your father, you brother?” She cried out at her daughter.

“I must do what is right Mum, and this is the right thing to do, I love you, but I can never agree with the functioning of this pack, you know this. I have told you many times this is just not right!” Zoe stated.

“Goodbye Mum.” Zoe whispered, as her father and brother, spat at her feed and turned their backs on her, a clear indication that she was dead to them.

Zoe nodded with a sigh, if that is what they wanted, then so be it, she no longer had a family, but she was more determined than ever to leave.

The young warriors and Zoe, ushered the 23 omegas of the pack towards the bus, ensuring to protect them.

“Our business here is done.” Zander called out.

As he turned to leave, Tristan and Pia looked over at each other, both beginning to shift, to form an attack.

Sheba bristled inside Chloe.

“They are going to attack us, let me OUT!” Sheba bellowed in Chloe’s head.

“Not until they attack us Sheba, they have to make the first move.”

Turning around Chloe looked at the two wolves, who were mid shift.

“Enough, if you attack us, you will all die, here today, let us go, and be true to your word. I promise you that you will all live to see another day. Continue, and I promise we will wipe out not just you, but your whole pack.” Chloe shouted, using her full royal tone.

Pia lunged forward, filled with anger and hatred shifting as she did, her wolf snapping at Chloe’s human form.
