The Last Royal Luna
(Book 2) – Chapter 47

Pulling up to the pack house I instantly want to turn the vehicle around and leave. I just know this is not worth it and from the look of the warriors they train harder, probably harder than a few of my mates, along with the stern look they were giving us.

“So why do you think they need like twenty warriors around when there is only seven of us?” I asked the guys as we parked.

“Twenty? There is only ten up there.” Edgar looked at me like I was seeing double.

I giggled before answering. “Close your eyes and use your senses. They have ten more surrounding us.” Kane growled when he finally sensed them.

“Let’s get this over with.” Edgar stated as Asher opened my door and helped me out.

“Hey, baby.” Asher kissed my check before standing back letting me lead the way up the stairs to greet the Alpha.

“Hello Alpha Derrick. Thank you for letting us visit your pack.” I smiled but got no smile in return.

“I didn’t let you visit. It seems my Beta answered your Alpha’s call and thought we should meet. He has since changed his mind to the correct answer. But now that you here state your business so you can leave.” He responded looking pissed off but calmed down when his mate rubbed his shoulder. She smiled at us meekly like she was asking for forgiveness for the shitty way her mate spoke to us.

“Ok. Well…” I blanked on what I even wanted or needed to say. I didn’t really want to tell him who I was since he would probably blab to everyone and anyone if it meant he got something in return.

“Hi, I am Asher one of Ryder’s Mates and my father was Alpha Oliver.” Asher grabbed my hand and gripped it tight enough to bring me to my senses.

“Your father was a real piece of work. He came here before and now he sends his son. I already told him no. Maybe this time we should show some force.” He looked at the warriors to his left and they stepped toward us.

“Hold the hell on. I was trying to play nice even though I knew coming here was going to be a s**t show once I saw how the lands surrounding yours looked.” I growled at him. “Tell them to stand down before I do.”

“You can’t do s**t. These are my pack members and I am their Alpha.” He scoffed like I was a little girl throwing a tantrum. His Beta looked scared for us but stood still.

I looked at the guys and then back at the Alpha. I was over having to pull out the Royal card. Why are all the Alphas such d***s?

“Never mind. We will leave. Just a heads up the wolves are joining with the good vampires and witches to take on the corrupt ones.

We want to take back what is ours.” I shrugged and pulled Asher back to join the rest of my mates without turning our back on them.

“Also the extra ten wolves hiding around us need to try a little harder next time.”

‘Are you sure about just leaving?’ Andrew asked connecting all of us via mind link.

‘I am so over these types of Alphas. I get that with the vampires, witches, and wolves who turned bad that their guard needs to be up but they have pushed it too far. This asswipe doesn’t deserve to know that I am a royal. He would either sell us out in a heartbeat or try to be up my butt to get what he wanted. Lets just do our best to get out of here in one piece and ditch this town.’

‘Agreed.’ Edgar replied putting his hand on my back and leading us backward. He made sure none of us turned our backs on any of the warriors we could see.

“Now I believe I promised some pain since your father already heard a polite no.”

“Oh, f**k off you t**t! I killed his father and took over the pack. I have taken on several Alphas and have won each time. We are leaving and if you don’t stop your warriors from putting their hands on MY MATES I will show you the true meaning of power!” I let Blue show up in my eyes before growling.

‘If you don’t want them to know you’re a royal then you need to keep your powers in check when they attack.’ Blake told me. I could feel his nerves hitting but I knew we would be alright.

Love how you didn’t say if they attack. We will be fine. No one will hurt us as long as we work as a team.’ I pushed love through the link and I could feel him relax along with the others.

The warriors in hiding attacked us first. They ran at us from all sides half in wolf form and the other half staying human to fight us. I could tell from their body language they thought this was going to be a piece of cake so they weren’t putting in much effort. Their punches only had half their strength behind them and the wolves only went for our limbs instead of our throats. I thought it was because they were cocky like their Alpha but when I was close enough I could tell they were bone tired. This Alpha was over working his pack and still asking for more like this.

Edgar easily took down two of the pack who were humans without even spilling b***d which was amazing to me since he was a vampire. The guys had put me inside a circle thinking I would stay out of the fight but they should have known better. Asher was helping Andrew when he was attacked from behind with a wolf biting into his calf and trying to pull him off of the wolf that was going for Andrew’s throat. I ran toward them leaping into the air and landing on the back of the wolf trying to drag Asher off. The surprise of me being there and the weight of me landing on his spine made me loosen his teeth from his leg so that Asher could shove away from him before deciding to shift into his wolf. I smiled when I noticed how pissed off Asher’s wolf was and I knew he would handle it from here so I jumped off the wolf and ran toward another one going toward Blake with b***d already dripping from its teeth.I was done with my men bleeding and hurting for no reason other than an Alpha being a stubborn butt face.
