Chapter 28

After clearing my mind in a hot shower that I spent way too much time in I realized it was only TUESDAY! I didn’t go to any classes yesterday and now I was missing again. Crap on a cracker! I made a grab for my phone and I texted my mom to see if she could call me in sick so I could deal with at least one of the packs today and I would head back to school tomorrow. I would do the other pack either in the evening or on the weekend. I need to make sure to get their contact information from one of the boys since technically I should be taking the pack over, both packs over.

When I walked into the living room Andrew and Blake were playing a video game while Asher was finishing up cooking in his open concept kitchen. I really liked that it felt like one room even if it was on the smaller side.

“Good morning, boy.” I chirped as I took a seat at the table and pulled over a notebook with notes on it about how we should plan the take over of the packs. I looked over at Asher to replace him staring at me. I nodded toward the notebook asking if he was the one who wrote these notes out. It was very detailed and organized.

“All of us. We got up at a normal time not eleven am like some sleepy head.” He winked at me and walked over a plate full of yumminess. He sat down without a plate and the guys didn’t bring one over when they sat down either. I didn’t even hear them turn the game off.

“Where are your guy’s plates?” I thought it would be rude to eat in front of them if they hadn’t ate already.

“ We already ate, princess.” Blake pulled the notebook over to him and turned to a new page. “So we need to get everything sorted so we can get everything we done. Hopefully get it done today since I know someone who doesn’t want to miss more school. Eat fast.”

I stuck my tongue out at him before starting to chow down. They discussed their thoughts and ideas on where we should go first alongside how to win over each pack after telling them their alpha was dead. Both alpha’s had sucked so their members should be relieved, right?! I voiced this and all of them shut me down. I guess people hide their true colors especially if they are in a powerful position. After that I just listened to what they had to say and only voiced something here and there.

So in the end we decided we would go to Asher and Andrew’s pack first so we could go over what happens, I can meet everybody and we would do we needed to do about getting someone in charge. I suggested Asher or Andrew but they both denied since they were my mates and had to be with me. We discussed meeting some of their top warriors and they both forgot to mention that a female could take the role so I definitely made sure they understood that. They agreed with me adamantly and I just smiled at them. They mentioned they had an older sister, named Sandra, who might be willing to take on the job which would be great but there’s still some elders that would be against it so if that’s something we would have to work on.

We all rode in Asher’s car since mine wasn’t made for all these long-legged boys. I called shot gun and DJ before we got there so I wouldn’t have to listen to their crap music. All the boys made gagging noises about my music choices before I even had a chance to show them what music really was. I thought about pissing them off by putting on musicals on but I decided to be nice. I put my favorite list on and they seemed to like it by the lack of gagging noises. I put my sunglasses on and told Asher to drive on.

The pack house was about thirty minutes away and when we finally pulled up to it I was speechless. It was huge and it reminded me of an apartment building except way more spectacular.

“This place looks amazing! I love the big bay windows all over and the rustic blue color is one of my favorite colors. You guys live here? Who else lives here?” I was about to ask more questions when Andrew leaned up and put his finger on my lips. I felt a bolt of electricity go straight through my whole body and he must of felt it too because his eyes turned black for a second. I pushed his finger away and saw a little bit of hurt in his face but he schooled it back quickly.

“Calm down, turbo. Yes, we all live here along side our parents, unmated females and males, and the gammas. The first floor has all the basic rooms like kitchen, dining room, living room, game room, and etc. The second floor…”

“GAME ROOM?? Basic rooms my a*s Mr. Lucky!” I threw my hands in the air and waited for Asher to park the car so we could get out. If this was how they lived I started to doubt myself being good enough for them in society’s terms.

“Yes,” they were all laughing at me but Andrew held back a bit to finish answering my questions, “The second floor has the offices and unmated females who wish to move into the pack house. The third floor is where the gamma resides along side Richard and any unmated male who wants to move out of their parent’s homes. The top floor is for Alpha’s and Beta’s. Once your married or have kids you move into your own home.”

Once I got out I started to notice all the other buildings around the pack house. Most where homes where people lived but I could see a few small shops and businesses. This place was amazing but before I could say all this to them Asher stepped beside me and took my hand. He caught me off guard and I couldn’t help the blush creeping onto my cheeks.

“Hey, just take it all in for now and ask questions later. We need to get to the meeting room where the Beta and Gamma are waiting with a few other important pack members. Just take a deep breath and let’s do this thing.” He kissed me on the cheek but I agreed with Blue that it wasn’t enough. I pulled on his hand to bring him back toward me before I went up on my tiptoes to k**s him on the lips. He quickly put his hands on my h**s and pressed against me like he needed to be closer just as much as he needed air to breath. I hoped he felt like that because I definitely did. It was a moment or two before we broke apart and it was not long enough. ‘Ryder I want more! Jump him right now!’ I told her to put her pants back on and relax. I looked over at Blake and Andrew to make sure they were ready to go in when I saw and felt how jealous they were. I snickered and turned to follow Asher into the pack house. I didn’t feel bad about not kissing them when I forewarned them that they were going to have to work for these goodies.

Before we even made it to the meeting room three blondes came running up and latched onto one of the guys while completely ignoring me. At first Blue wanted to rip everyone’s heads off but we saw how the guys were trying to push them away with looks of fear and disgust on their faces. ‘We need to help them get rid of these bitches before I tear them apart.’ I was going to laugh at her but her menacing growl was enough to do what she said.

“Girls…Girls… LADIES!” I ended up having to yell to get their attention and I also got a few others as well.

The one attached to Asher sneered at me before putting her free hand on her h*p, “What do you want? Your not even a part of this pack so maybe you should, like, leave before I have my boyfriend do it. Right, baby?” She looked up at Asher with a pout on her face which really just made her look like a oversized blubber fish. He shook his head No but she just smiled and looked at me like he had agreed with her. Can we say delusional?

“Instead of that stupid idea, lets do mine. Step away from my mates and I will let you walk out of here with all your limbs.” I winked at her and crossed my arms. I made sure to glare at all three of so they knew I meant all of them.

“You can’t tell us what to do. I am the future Luna of this pack and what I say goes.” The one attached to Andrew popped off before leaning in to k**s him but he finally was able to push her away. His body shook with disgust and all I could think about was how many showers he would need not to smell like her.

“Melanie, you were a one night stand SIX months ago. We have never been anything nor will we. Ryder is my mate along with Asher and Blake. Lindsay, Asher has told you no over and over. It was one k**s when he was fifteen, move on. Emily, you have tried to ride every unmated male in this pack. Please get tested and all of you stop touching us.” He stood in front of me waiting for them to move away but what he didn’t realize is these girls were leeches. They wanted the power and control they were not destined to have. Their parents probably told them to try for better and reject their mates if they weren’t powerful.

“But BABY! I missed you! I want to show you show much!” She started to sway her h**s before taking a step toward Andrew. Asher and Blake were able to get lose from the other two and ran to be beside me. I pushed Andrew behind me and let Blue lose.

“I suggest you power hungry, weak bitches get the hell away from my men. The only one who will be showing them anything anytime soon will be me. Find your mates because they will be the only ones who love you for you. Your pathetic and tactless.” I could feel the power Blue was holding at bay and how bad she wanted to show this pack who was boss.

“Who the f**k do you think you are? I am going to kick your a*s!” Melanie screamed while running toward me. Blue finally lost her hold and roared at them. Melanie stopped in her tracks with a surprised look on her face. All the doors opened with members of the pack flooding out to see what was going on.

“I am Blue, Wolf to Ryder who is the LAST LIVING ROYAL making her the most powerful wolf here.” Blue had us sizing the audience up before projecting her voice even louder,” LAST NIGHT THE ALPHA CHALLANGED ME AND HE LOST. I AM NOW THE ALPHA UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. ASHER, BLAKE, AND ANDREW ARE MY MATES. ANY FEMALES TOUCH THEM AND I WILL END YOU!”
