Caliana's POV

My eyes fluttered open when I felt a hand between my thighs, I wasn't frightened because I knew it was Edward, he kissed my neck and I moaned, my hands wrapped around his neck as our lips molded as one. We shared a deep long kiss and his fingers caressed my b****t gently. My hips arched against him and automatically started to rub against him. He took off my nightwear and kissed me between my breasts and down to my stomach. "Hmm," I moaned. He peaked up at me and he had a predatory look in his eyes.

"I want you to be happy here and I want to try my best to be a good mate to you," Was he afraid of something? That I would leave him? What was bringing up this change in him?

"Thank you," I said and he nodded once before rolling off the bed. I watched his beautiful naked self go to the bathroom. I soon heard the shower running and I too went to the closet. I wanted to pick out my clothes for the day. I played some music while there. I was feeling great and I moved my hips softly to the rhythm. A deep rumble of the throat startled me, I twisted my neck to the entrance.

Alpha Edward was watching me. I blushed and ran into the bathroom before he could comment. My heart was racing and I smiled. I took a long shower and wore my dress and boots before leaving the room. I met Garret on my way to the kitchen and he kissed my temple softly. I put a hand on his back and he asked the servants to help him make me breakfast.

"Oh, do you always prepare breakfast for your students before scolding them?" I smiled and got fruit to eat.

"I understand if you missed a few days of training but after the festivities, you should stop slacking," He warned. Minutes later, my delicious food was ready and I ate all of it.

Marcus walked into the kitchen and picked a piece of bacon from my plate, and ate it.

"Hey," I complained.

"Don't be stingy and warning, Candace, and June are being released from confinement today," He informed with mischievousness in his eyes. I immediately stood to my feet and hit my palm against the island. "Why?" I demanded. Fuming with anger, I f*****g hated those two bitches so much and my wolf was growling inside my head.
