POV

We reached home around midnight and my mate carried me to bed since I was a little drunk.

"The elders are leaving tomorrow, we don't have to be in the same room anymore," I slurred.

"No, you will stay with me," He declared, pushing the door open and putting me on the bed. Alpha Edward gently took off my clothes and left me naked. I spread my legs and arms over the bed. He hovered over me and kissed my chest sensually. "I like your breasts," He said, biting my n****e ever gently.

"Really?" I sensually asked. My fingers were playing with his hair now, it was so soft and cut just how I liked it.

"Yes," He was giving me wet kisses from my chest to my abdomen, and down to my p***y.

"What are you doing?" I asked, biting my bottom lip as the pleasure built up in me.

"I want to make you feel good," He husked.

"Okay- OH f**k!" I moaned when I felt his tongue inside my womanhood. He was sucking and licking me, I moaned loudly and when I reached my peak, his eyes flashed gold, and he kissed my lips, pushing his tongue in me.

"Do you want to bathe?" He asked. I nodded my response and he carried me to the shower. I was lurching between the alcohol and the high I reached a few seconds ago. Alpha Edward cleaned my body and wrapped a towel around me. We went back to bed and I lay in bed. I snuggled against him and he held me tightly.

I woke up with a splitting headache the next morning like always when I drink. I yawned and yelped when I saw my mate, standing next to the bed and glaring at me,

"Good Morning,"

He gave me a glass of juice and a pill that I took and thanked him.

"I'm hungry," I grumbled, he threw me one of his white t-shirts that I wore as I was only wearing my pants and bra. He took me to the suite salon where food was already prepared on the table.

I sat on the opposite couch, eating my bacon, and drinking my coffee. He was watching me while I focused on the food, purposely ignoring him. I was dreading talking to Alpha Edward about what happened with Dean. I finally stared at him with worried eyes. "I'm sorry,"

"What for?"

"For kissing Dean," He growled lowly and closed his eyes momentarily.

"Don't ever f*****g say his name again," He roared and I jerked.

"I just can't believe you did that," He said, drinking his scotch. I frowned and stopped eating but he urged me to continue with his hand. I couldn't swallow anything after this.

"He manipulated you," He said, trying to convince himself.

"No, I was the one who initiated the kiss," I confessed. He looked at me disappointed and I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me. He stood up and I tensed. He extended his hand towards me and I took it.

"Alright, but I don't want you anywhere close to him again, okay?" I was surprised that he let it go so easily, a smile stretched on my lips and I stood on my toes, kissing his cheek.

"Does that mean I'm forgiven?"

"Yes, and it should be an honor for you because I don't easily forgive," He was back to being the arrogant bastard I learned to love.

"I'm honored," I smiled and he nodded proudly.

"Does that make me weak?"

"Absolutely, not," I told him.

We were supposed to get ready for the day so we went back to the bedroom but to my shock, I found that b***h Candace. I growled at her and she jumped a foot in the air. I didn't have time to exchange words with her so I glared at Edward.

"I can't do this, Edward," I said, pointing at the woman who was looking at me with a smug smile on her lips. Candace is the reason why for so long he refused to be in a serious relationship with me but now he will have to choose. "Edward? Since when are you on a first-name basis," Candace asked and I recoiled in disgust, f**k, I hate that voice of hers. She shook her head nevertheless and went to my mate

"I'm back, Alpha," She cheered. I wanted to rip her apart but I restrained myself.

"Candace, this is getting pathetic, I told you we can't see each other ever again," Alpha Edward snarled. So, he did warn her. Candace was both horrified and embarrassed, it made me smile inwardly.

"I- I didn't think you meant it,"

"Get out, and I don't ever want to see you in this house again," My mate ordered. I crossed my arms against my chest and stared at her with venom in my gaze. Candace was on the verge of tears, shaking her head vigorously. "No, you can't do this to me. I have been here for you before she was," She cried.

"I'm supposed to be your first choice!" I wanted to beat her up but she wasn't worth my punches. Edward moved closer to me, almost using me as a shield. I nearly giggled at his childishness, he was like a kid scared of something. "Candace, I'm warning you for the last time, keep away from my mate or I'll banish you from this pack," I told her seriously.

"You can't do that! You're no one!" She spat.

"You're no one, b***h," I retorted, showing her my diamond ring. "I'm his mate, his wife, and the Luna of the pack," I pointed out.

"MY Luna," Edward added. What was with him today, he was being playful but I wasn't complaining.

"Don't embarrass yourself any longer and leave," I said. She was still in shock even as she left, looking back at us with a disapproving gaze. I waved at us. I turned to my mate.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing," I said and went into the shower. He followed me and stood next to me, both of us showering in the same space. I prayed that this shall last and that it was not the calm before the storm because if it was, my heart couldn't handle it.
