Caliana's

POV

"Oh my god, stop!" I begged, the guards all watching in fear. Fur was flying in the air and there was blood on the ground.

"Do something, please," I cried. They won't stop until one of them is dead!

"I was ordered not to," He declared, I frantically looked around when I remembered to mind link the brothers.

'Caliana, why are you in distress?' Jamal asked as soon as I connected with him.

'Just come outside, Edward and Dean are going to kill each other!' I croaked.

'f**k, Jamal growled. The bursting of the main door alarmed the beta who was holding me, loosening his grip on me and I ran between the two beasts just as they were about to lunge at each other again. If they didn't stop when they did, I would have been crushed between them. I held still between them, unable to calm my sobs for a while. Edward peered down at me, he was worried and scared, and his eyes were searching my body to see if I was injured in any way.

"Just stop, both of you," My voice was hoarse. My body closed into my mate and I hugged him, I felt warmth travel to my body. We stayed there for a while, I was distracted by the breaking of bones, and Dean shifted back.

"Change, please," I whispered and moved away from him. Dean was about to approach me and he growled, making the earth beneath us vibrate. I glared at Dean, was he crazy? He had multiple cuts and injuries on his body, did he want to die? Over what? Claiming a woman who isn't his eyes? Dean didn't approach further. Edward shifted in less than a second and he was standing in front of me in all his glory. Garret brought him a pair of jeans that he wore swiftly. My eyes were now clearing and I noticed that we were surrounded by a dozen people. Edward's blazing gaze was on Alpha Henderson

"Stay the f**k away from Caliana or I'll kill you," He said through gritted teeth. Henderson reciprocated his look and was about to retort but his mother and Larisa came to his side.

"Caliana, please," Dean begged, for what? Me? I couldn't believe that two Lycan Alphas were fighting for me.

"I won't let you manipulate her and what you won't do is turn her into another weapon against me," He said.

Dean took a step forward but his mother held him down.

"Caliana, can we talk? You can't go with him," He was desperate, glaring at my mate for a second.

"Unbelievable! You fell for her?!" Deborah shouted, exasperated. She scowled at me before cupping her son's face, begging him not to pursue me but he wasn't paying attention to his mother.

"I'm f*****g warning you Henderson, STAY AWAY FROM MY MATE," Edward said. He grabbed my hand and took it away from there, leaving people to murmur. Luna Kelly and the girls were living this moment up, smiling from ear to ear. After today, they will truly have something to talk about. We reached the Limo and he held the door open for me. I threw myself on the seat with my legs outside. I couldn't look him in the eyes so I kept my head down, looking at my fidgeting fingers. He tipped my chin to face him and tears poured from my eyes, his gaze softened and he caressed my cheek.

"Are you alright?" The look he was giving me did nothing for me, and I suppressed a sob.

"No, I'm not fine, Edward," I cried, wrapping my arms around his waist. I buried my face in his stomach, crying for as long as I wanted, his hand was gently patting my back.

"Don't cry, Caliana," I pulled away from him, he didn't sound vexed. I wiped my tears ungracefully.

"Why are you not mad at me?"

"I'm too tired right now, but you and I will talk tomorrow," I nodded, and leaned against the seat, the brothers came all at us, they were chatting and smiling. Alpha Edward went to them while Ansley came to me

"You are the main talk of the party," She giggled, I scooted away, giving her room to sit next to me. She caressed my hair

"How do you feel?"

"Tired," I murmured.

"Yea, you have been through enough today," I nodded, and a smile made its way onto my face. Alpha Edward fought for me.

"I'm suddenly feeling great!" I beamed.

"Of course, there was a duel in your honor, how many women get that!" Marcos shouted and they laughed. "Let's go,"

"Elder Ezekiel called and he is not pleased with today's events," Jamal said. Alpha Edward entered the limo.

"I'll talk to the old man later, for now, I just want to leave this good-for-nothing pack before I s*******r them," He grumbled, still annoyed. Everyone got inside the car and the boys started drinking, Marcus passed me a glass and I donned my tequila, it felt good on the throat.
