Marcos

"Elaine?" I called as I gently approached her, the beautiful woman finally turned to look at me but I saw so many emotions in her gaze.

"Are you alright?" I took her chin between my fingers and she nodded.

"I didn't think you'll come here again," Her voice did things to me and I smiled at her.

"I was just busy, I would have called but I don't have your number,"

"I don't have a cellphone," She informed me. I smiled and stroked her hair.

"Did you miss me?"

She scoffed and rolled her pretty eyes " You're not that important, Marcos,

"Aouch, that hurt," I fake hurt dramatically, clutching my chest tightly. She giggled and I froze, it was sweet but to be fair, everything she does is sweet. "Have you eaten?"

She frowned and nodded. I wasn't too convinced about that so I extended my hand which she took reluctantly. We walked out of the forest. I don't remember when I enjoyed someone's company that much. She stopped when we reached civilization and stared up at

"I don't think I'm supposed to be here, they don't like me very much and I think I'm wanted," She told me, tugging me back. "What did you do?"

"I was just looking around when two brut men approached me, they wanted to take me somewhere but I kicked them and ran," She grinned.

"I'm sure they just wanted to question you. You smell different from us,"

"Is it bad?"

"No, not at all, you just smell like any other hunter and they were wary," She nodded. I still took her to the mall, there were people everywhere and Elaine was looking impressed with the buildings. She was like a child and I wondered when she last interacted with or saw so many people at once.

"What are we doing here Marcos?" I love how she says my name.

"Well, we are here to eat, and then get you some clothes," I told her and she frowned again, biting her lower lip in thought.

"I do have clothes,"

"Hunting clothes,"

"And a dress," She gestured to what she was wearing. Indeed, she was wearing a blue maxi dress that suited her well and boots but I could tell they were old.

"More day-to-day clothes,"

"I don't want to be a bother or spend any of your money on me,"

"You're not," I said, grabbing her hand and taking her to my favorite restaurant here. The waiter came to welcome us and took us to the table. I noticed how people stared at my pretty date in surprise.

I ordered my food and she got what I did. Elaine told me that she didn't remember much about her life before they were taken to the lab. All she remembered were witches abducting her while she was in the forest, hunting for werewolves that were near her hometown. I'm sure they were placed as bait to draw all hunters out.

Our food soon came and we started eating. She found everything delectable and ate with glee. I massaged my chin, watching her. She caught my gaze and her cheeks reddened. Her heart thundered in her chest. She was ravishing indeed. "Are you free for dinner tomorrow?" I asked.

"Nope, another man is taking me to eat," She said curtly and my eyes widened. She giggled.

"Kidding, I don't know anyone here,"

"Pheew," I sighed in relief.

"I want you to meet my family,"

"Marcos, isn't it too early to meet the in-laws?" She said nonchalantly while my lips parted in surprise.

"Again, I'm kidding and if the food is as nice as this then count me in," She winked, and I flashed her a smile. I also have to replace her a place to stay close by. I didn't like the idea of her staying there alone. After we ate, we went shopping, and she was not excited at all, all she wanted were pants and shirts but the saleswoman who was assisting her wasn't having them. She helped her pick out many clothes. "Isn't this too much," She frowned, looking at the clothes two attendants were carrying.

"No," I said and pointed at the changing room, pouting like a child, she went back into the changing room. I asked one of my men to bring me a car and we drove to my apartment building. I hardly used it and Elaine could stay here as long as she wanted. "What if I meet those men again?"

"They won't harass you, you're with me now," I answered, she only sighed and looked out the window. She seemed to enjoy the ride so I drove around and showed her some places before going to the apartment.

"As I said, you can stay here and I'll get your stuff from your campsite," I said, opening the door for her. She looked at me for a long time, before nodding. We headed to the top floor and I gave her the password, the apartment was large and fully furnished. "A servant comes every two days to restock food and clean," I informed her. She was still looking around.

"It's beautiful and I can see all the buildings," She said with a smile. The penthouse was nice and I'm sure she'll enjoy her stay here better than at the campsite.

"There is a gym too downstairs,"

"Okay, I love working out especially now that I have a wolf in me," She informed me. We sat on the couch, talking the night away. She told me how she was adjusting as a wolf and I gave her some tips on how to control her wolf better but she's doing incredibly well so far. She fell asleep in my arms and I carried her to the bedroom while I took the other.
