"Janet?" Tasha was also shocked to see that the interviewer was Janet.

She knew that Janet was a designer in W Marks, but she didn't expect that she would be the one to interview her.

As for why Tasha came to W Marks, she had her reasons.

After divorcing Seth, Tasha got a lot of money in alimony and she went back to the Javis family.

The Javis family had married their daughter, Tasha, into the Lester family for mutual benefits. But now that she had divorced and the Lester family was in ruins, the Javis family undoubtedly felt ashamed. Moreover, Tasha was pregnant at the time, which made things look worse.

Given everything that had happened, it was unlikely that Tasha would be able to remarry another rich man. This made the Javis family feel that she was a burden, and some of her relatives even began to treat her coldly.

Later, Tasha couldn't take it anymore and moved out. Although she didn't lack money, she just didn't like being idle.

It just so happened that the W Marks Studio was hiring at the time. Draco was famous in the fashion industry. Tasha wanted to at least try, so she sent in her resume.

"Please have a seat. Why didn't you use your real name?" Janet definitely wasn't expecting to see Tasha here.

She glanced at the resume and portfolio Tasha had submitted and sure enough, the latter hadn't used her real name.

Tasha smiled embarrassedly and explained, "Something went down with my family so I didn't want them to know that I'm applying for work. Will that affect today's interview?"

Janet shook her head with a faint smile and continued to leaf through Tasha's portfolio. "No, the interview will only depend on the quality of your work."

Dalores could tell that the pregnant applicant and Janet knew each other, so she narrowed her eyes and asked, "How do you two know each other?"

"We studied in the same school. Relax. I'll conduct a fair and un-biased interview."

Janet knew that the professional way to go was to judge Tasha solely by her works. And she knew that this was what Tasha really wanted. She wanted to get rid of the shackles of marriage and gain recognition with her own design ability.

Dalores rolled her eyes and watched Janet closely.

This young girl was a bad liar. Obviously, Janet also wanted to recruit her friend, but she pretended not to know her that well.

"Then let's start the interview now." Dalores began to look through Tasha's resume and portfolio as well.

Indeed, Tasha's works were much better than that of her friend. Moreover, she had won a few design awards back when she was still in school.

Suddenly, Dalores felt a little nervous.

Janet was very satisfied with Tasha's excellent resume. She truly believed that even Dalores would see her potential, too.

So she asked, "Well, what do you think, Dalores?"

How could Dalores let this pregnant woman in and not her own friend? She had promised to her friend that she could get him into W Marks. How would she explain this to him then?

"It's not bad," Dalores said with a fake smile. "Can I ask her a few questions first?"

"Of course." Janet nodded enthusiastically.

She thought highly of Tasha. Although she hadn't been in the design industry for a few years, it could be seen that she was still very good. Moreover, she had won a lot of design awards before she even graduated, which just went to show how excellent she was.

Staring at Tasha's bulging belly, Dalores asked harshly, "You used to be a housewife, right? That would explain the gap in your resume. Now, you're looking for a job after getting divorced. Did your husband abandon you?"

Her question was deliberately rude. She obviously wanted to irate irritate Tasha.
