"How can we get married when there's no love between us?" Frey questioned.

"We've laid everything out today, so let's just let each other go. Neither of us is worth it anymore."

"We're like two trapped beasts, constantly biting at each other. Why must we stay together?"

Nathaniel's expression suddenly changed, and he could hardly believe his ears.

In reality, he always knew it would end like this, but hearing her say she didn't love him anymore still struck him hard, making his heart ache intensely.

Nathaniel struggled to replace words, but he eventually let her go.

Frey looked at him and said, "I'll pack your things and have Koen pick them up. I'll transfer the money for the furniture you bought in this house. Remember to check it" Nathaniel lowered his head and slowly turned around. His heart had never hurt this much.

It felt like it had been stabbed repeatedly, with all the blood drained away.

No matter how shameless he was, he couldn't force himself to stay after Frey said those words.

Nathaniel took a deep breath and looked at Frey. "Okay, I promise."

Frey was surprised by how easily he agreed. From the beginning, after Nathaniel decided not to let her go, she knew escaping his control in Saeville would be impossible. "Thank you, Mr. Nathaniel," Frey smiled.

Nathaniel raised his hand, pulled her into his arms, and held her tightly. He whispered, "I promise to give you some time alone, but I will never let you go."

"Frey, you know how I am. I, Nathaniel, never let go of what I want."

"You're mine within my grasp. I can indulge your willfulness countless times, but I will not let you go. Yes, I will never let you go!"

He loosen Frey, walked to the door, and walked out.

He didn't even change his clothes, rushing into the cold night in his casual clothes and slippers.

Koen and the others had been living in this apartment recently and had secretly set up a hidden camera at Frey's door to transmit the signal wirelessly.

When Nathaniel opened the door and rushed out, his face was full of anger as he ran out in his casual clothes.

Several of them followed him to the underground parking lot, where they found the president standing dully in front of his car. He had forgotten his keys.

He was at a loss. In Saeville, a large city, he had nowhere to go after losing the person he loved.

For the first time, Koen saw his boss looking so pitiful. He hurriedly stepped forward and lowered his voice, saying, "Mr. Nathaniel, Hudson has already bought this building." Nathaniel was stunned for a moment, then slowly turned around and glanced at Koen.

His expression softened slightly. "Move my things to the apartment opposite Ms. Frey's." "Yes, Mr. Nathaniel!"

After Nathaniel left, Frey looked at the mess on the ground and finally calmed down.

She shouldn't have expected anything from the beginning. After all, Abigail and Nathaniel had spent more time together than she had.

He never cared about her, seeing her as a tool for revenge. The child in her belly meant nothing to Nathaniel.

Frey laughed bitterly and slapped herself hard.

She couldn't hold her breath and wanted Nathaniel to give her an explanation. She wanted Abigail to die!

In the end, he talked about evidence.

Frey's heart sank completely. When she said she didn't love him anymore, she meant it.

She wanted to endure it until the end, but she broke down when facing Nathaniel.

Their breakup was unhappy. Frey knelt down, cleaned up the mess on the floor, took a shower, and regretted her impulse.

After all, falling out with Nathaniel would make it difficult to get close to him.
