The Rejected Alpha Wolf -
TWENTYONE-MEETING ALPHA SIMON
Silas POV
We were headed to Stone Valley pack to meet with Alpha Simon. Spike kept pacing and whimpering in my head as we got closer to Stone Valley.
"What is with you? You've been giving me a headache since we have been on the road," I asked my wolf.
"I don't know, Silas. I feel like something is going to happen," he said as he retreated to the back of my mind.
What he said put me on high alert, and I kept my eyes open as Blake drove the SUV. Stone Valley was a 6-hour drive from Red River. Alpha Simon kept his pack deep within the forest, and you wouldn't even think to go this far South to replace his pack. Blake knew how to get here, having visited Alpha Simon several times.
"How long?" I grumbled and tried to stretch my legs.
"About another forty-five minutes," Blake said.
I heard a snore and saw Matthew out cold in the back seat with my Beta. Blake turned off on a dirt road, and the other SUV following us also turned off. Blake said we didn't need the warriors, but I didn't trust Simon. After about another twenty minutes of driving, the pack house finally appeared.
It was three stories high, painted in white and gold trimming. I saw a few cars parked off the side and omegas working in the garden. They looked thin and malnourished. Blake stopped the SUV. I looked up as a large muscle man, about 6'5, with cold blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, stepped out of the pack house. Blake and I stepped out. Blake walked up the steps and shook the gentleman's hand.
"Ah, Alpha Blake, back so soon," He chuckled and blew out smoke from the cigar in his mouth.
Matthew and Jason exited the SUV and stood beside me as Blake talked to Alpha Simon. I felt a shiver as his blue eyes looked at me, and he smirked.
Spike whimpered as the Alpha looked at us and started walking down the steps toward us.
"You must be Alpha Silas," he smiled wickedly and stared at us.
"I am," I said as a young woman exited the pack house.
"Mate," Spike howled.
"What the..." my eyes widened.
She was gorgeous, 5'6, with long jet-black hair, blue eyes, sun-kissed skin, and curves in all the right places.
Yvette
"Daddy," she called out as her Father turned to look at her.
"Yes, Yvette, what do you need?" she smiled at him and completely ignored me. Her wild berry scent drove Spike crazy.
"Why is she ignoring us? Go get our mate," Spike growled out as I stood frozen.
"Belle and I want to go shopping."
"Can I have your card?" she asked her Father.
She descended the steps. I watched the Alpha smile and take out his wallet, but he gave her a wad of cash instead of his card.
"Spend as much as you want, princess," he said. She finally turned to face me, smirking.
"Hello, mate," she said as her Father eyed me.
"Mate?" he asked as she nodded and walked away. I saw Alpha Simon smirk at me and shake his head.
"Oh, my boy, you are in for a rude awakening," he chuckled as I stared at him.
"What does that mean?" I asked and saw his wide smirk.
He led us inside his pack house. We stepped inside. I felt an intense pain in my chest and grabbed it as I gasped for a breath.
"What the fuck?!" I shouted, looking up to see my mate kissing another wolf as Spike growled.
"Who the hell is that?!" I cried out as she released his lips and looked at me with a smirk.
Alpha Simon smirked as he introduced the mutt that kissed my mate.
"This is my Beta Jed and Yvette's chosen mate," I growled and went to launch for him, but Blake held me back.
"Let me go. She is mine!" I growled as Yvette laughed.
Yvette POV
Watching my mate practically try to attack Jed was glorious. I never wanted a fated mate and knew a little about Silas Cartier. My wolf Yazmin howled with grief, knowing I had hurt our mate.
"Yaz, please," I said as she growled at me.
"The moon goddess will never forgive you for this, Yvette."
"How I got stuck with you as my other half is beyond me," she growled.
"Yaz, this is the guy every she-wolf talks about. Silas sleeps with many women, and when I say a lot, it's a lot," I told my wolf, but she wasn't listening. Yaz shut me out as I sighed.
I focused back on Silas as his eyes turned onyx black. He was trying to attack Jed. Don't get me wrong, Silas was cute with his short, blonde hair, light blue eyes, and solid muscles, and he was an Alpha.
My friend Belle was friends with one of Silas's many whores and told me about how he sleeps around a lot and even had a chosen mate in Alpha Blake's daughter, and he cheated on her. Jed was just my Father's Beta, but he was loyal to me and wanted my Father's title after he retired. I walked over to where Silas stood with Jed by my side, and he smirked at Silas.
"I, Yvette Marisa Stone, daughter of Alpha Simon Stone of the Stone Valley pack, reject you, Silas Benson Cartier, as my mate," I watched his eyes widen, and he growled.
"I, Silas Benson Cartier, Alpha of the Red River pack, reject your rejection," he said with a proud smirk as I gasped. I heard Jed growl beside me and tried to launch for Silas.
"ENOUGH!" my Father roared in his Alpha tone as Jed tried to fight his command and bowed his head, submitting to his Alpha.
"Let's continue this in my office and understand why you are here," My Father said. He left no room for debate, and we followed him to his office.
Simon POV
I knew something was happening with Yvette before I stepped outside the pack house. Her wolf kept acting up, and she said she could smell musk and ginger outside. I had to investigate and realized Blake was parked outside my pack house with guests.
I greeted them and saw the young Alpha Silas had made his way to my pack. I had a gut feeling that he would be Yvette's mate, but I needed to be sure, so I asked her to come outside to confirm my suspicion. When she told me through the mind link that Silas was her mate, that made me happy.
I had been trying to get an audience with the Red River Alpha for quite some time. It had started with his Father, and now the moon goddess was blessing me with this meeting. I watched with amusement as things played out in the foyer. I knew some things about Silas, from him rejecting his human mate to wanting to take Blake's daughter as his chosen and the sleeping around that he does.
It didn't bother me. He is young and an Alpha. I heard my daughter reject him and listen to him reject her rejection, and I smirked.
"This kid has balls," my wolf Satan said. I had to agree with him. It wasn't until Jed, my Beta, was going to launch for him that I growled.
"ENOUGH!" Jed stopped in his tracks and submitted to my Alpha command.
I wanted to know the issue with Blake and what the goddess was planning to mate my daughter to Silas, so I had everyone report to my office to discuss things further.
Once inside my office, everyone took a seat. Silas tried to be too close to Yvette, but she moved away and sat closer to Jed, which caused Silas to growl. I didn't care that my daughter was sleeping with my Beta. I had no sons, and he was the perfect candidate for the Alpha title until Silas came along, and I started planning things in my head.
"First agenda."
"Alpha Blake, what brings you to Stone Valley?" I asked as he eyed me.
"I need help, Simon," Blake said as I smiled. I knew things about Blake, too. I chuckled and nodded for him to tell me.
"I want to bring down Blue Eclipse and get back my mate and daughter," he said as my interest peaked. I laughed as he stared at me.
"So, the great Alpha Blake wants to get back his mate who rejected him and a daughter who is mated to Antonio's son," I said and heard Silas growl.
"She's my chosen and belongs to me!" he shouted as I smirked.
I looked at my daughter and saw the hurt in her eyes as she shook her head at Silas's words. I wanted Antonio's wife. I enjoyed hearing through the grapevine about her white wolf powers.
"If I help you, Blake, I want Staci for myself and half of the pack," I told him.
Stone Valley only had two thousand members, but I had a few allies in vampires, bears, and rogue wolves that I dealt with. Blue Eclipse was a large pack with many alliances, so I had to play my cards right if we were going to beat them.
"That's a deal, then," Blake said, and I looked at him with a broad smile.
"What can you tell me about the retired Alpha and Luna?"
"I hear she's beautiful," I smirked and thought about what Staci looked like making my cock harden.
"She isn't the Luna anymore."
"My daughter is now, and her mate is the Alpha," Blake said.
"Ah, so Antonio has retired," I smirked as Silas cleared his throat.
"Don't get so cocky, Alpha Simon. Ace is just like his Mother."
"A white wolf with powers, I've seen it myself," Silas mentioned as my eyes widened.
I had no idea the Alpha's son had inherited powers and was a white wolf. I thought he would've gained a solid black wolf like his Father.
"Well, things just got interesting," I told them as they stared at me.
"What do you mean by that?" Blake asked me, and I looked at him.
"We will have to up our game to take over the Blue Eclipse pack."
"I may know how to do that," I said, looking at Silas.
"What are your plans for my daughter, Silas?" I asked as he stared at me.
Silas POV
I looked at Simon like he had grown two heads.
"What do you think? She's my fated mate, so, of course, I want her."
"But Rachel will be my Luna and have my pups because I want the Lotus Shadow pack, and Yvette will be my mistress and keep my wolf strong," I told Simon. He tilted his head and looked at his daughter. I heard her gasp.
"I will not be anyone's mistress. Dad!"
"I will not accept him as my mate."
"I've already chosen Jed. You're not seriously considering this!" Yvette shouted as her Father smirked.
"I am, dear daughter."
"Silas is an Alpha, and Jed is just a Beta."
"When I retire, I will need a strong male to lead my pack, and Silas seems to be the perfect choice," I heard her scream as she stood up and ran out of the office.
I looked out the corner of my eye and saw Jed get up to go after her. I growled at him as he glared at me. I heard a laugh and looked over at Simon. He was twisted and sick in the head.
"Silas, my boy, I will give you my oldest daughter as a bargaining chip in our contract to destroy Blue Eclipse."
"What do you say?" he asked as Jed left the office.
This guy rubbed me the wrong way, but he was the only one willing to help us achieve our goal and get our mates back. I sighed and stuck my hand out for him to shake, and he did with a broad smile. I watched Blake come over and shake his hand, and he told us he would get a contract drawn up and ready for us to sign in a few days.
After all the dealings, Simon invited us to stay for dinner. When we arrived at the dinner table, I saw two more young girls who resembled Simon and knew they were his other daughters.
"Mate," I heard my Beta Jason yell out as one of the girls looked at him.
"Ah, I see my Freya has found her mate," Simon chuckled and patted Jason's back.
We all sat down as Jason went to sit by Freya and start a conversation with her. She seemed a bit nervous and out of place. I saw Yvette sitting beside an older woman I assumed was Alpha Simon's Luna. She had long jet-black hair and gray eyes with the same skin tone as her daughters.
Freya and Faye had dirty blonde hair. But Freya has blue eyes like Simon, while Faye has gray eyes like their Mother. I assumed they were twins because they looked almost identical.
Freya and Faye
"Janette, this is Alpha Blake, Alpha Silas, his Beta Jason, and Matthew," he introduced us as Yvette glared at me.
"Gentlemen, this is my chosen mate, Janette Banks, from the Lake Mountain pack in Montana," my eyes widened when he said chosen mate.
"What happened to your fated mate?" I asked, and he laughed.
"She realized who I was and rejected me," he gave an unamused shrug.
"So..." I started to say.
"Yes, Silas. Yvette, Freya, and Faye are my daughters from Janette," he said as I nodded. I looked at Yvette, who sneered at me and wiped her eyes.
"Dear, Yvette and Freya are leaving tonight to go to the Red River pack to be with their mates," I heard Simon tell his Luna.
I watched a broad smile appear on her face and a chair scrape the floor as Yvette exited the dining room. I looked at Simon, and he nodded for me to go after her, so I did. I followed her wild berry scent to the garden behind the pack house.
"What do you want, Silas?"
"Haven't you ruined my life enough today?" Yvette said as she sobbed.
"Look, you're my mate, and I need you to keep my wolf strong."
"It won't be as bad as you think."
"You will have to share me, but so will Rachel. You two will have my pups," I growled as she turned to look at me.
"You are just as twisted as my Father."
"I will never accept the life I've been dealt with. Just leave me alone, Silas," she sobbed in her hands and ran back inside the pack house.
I sighed and walked back inside. I saw her going up the stairs with her two sisters following her. I returned inside and sat at the table as Jed glared at me and left. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Things would be interesting when we returned to the Red River pack.
