Phoebe's POV

I flip through the pages of the documents and I see that what he said was true.

"Are the policies okay with you?" He inquires.

"Yeah," I say.

He breathes out heavily, and hands me a pen.

"You can sign it then," he says. I take the pen and sign at the places I'm supposed to sign the documents.

And hand it back to him, he takes it and keeps it at a side.

"So do you have anything you'll be doing later in the day? Because I'd like you to spend the day with me." He asks.

I have no problem with that but I wanted to bring Jake and Emily home myself, maybe I'll text Lily to help me do that. "Wow, Okay," I couldn't turn down such an offer. I was beginning to like him as well.

"Are you ready to go now or do you want to relax for a bit? Your wish is my command, you know that," he informed me. Enough of the flattering, before I'll be unable to walk home, I guess I'll enjoy working for him as well.

This is the third time we are meeting, and I can say I enjoyed all the times from the first time at the club to the second time when those guys were taking me and he rescued me saying I was his girlfriend when I was not his girlfriend, and now he made me a customized gold spoon.

I wanted to dig gold but I guess the gold has found me. I now have to make use of this opportunity.

He was a sweet guy, I must say but not telling him to his face, not yet.

"Please don't flatter me, I'm ready if you're ready," I say smiling.

"Alright, since we are both ready I guess we should go then," he suggests and I agree.

"Alright," I say, picking up my bag and standing up.

We both get up and we head towards the parking lot where his car is parked then I remember I'm supposed to text Lily so she knows I want her to pick Jake and Lily up before she goes for her shift.

I don't want Ethan to know much about me yet, about my background and who my parents are. Many people don't like that part of me and I don't want it to ruin Anything for me, and I think of how I will get space to call Lily. "Ethan, please I want to use the toilet for a moment, I'll be back right away," I pleaded with him.

"It's okay, I'll be waiting for you," he gestures for me to do my thing, and I rush to the restaurant but I don't know where the restroom is, I go up to one of the workers, "Please I want to use the toilet, is there anyone around here?" I ask. "Sure there is, let me show you," Don't blame me, I've never been here a day in my life and the place is big.

While the worker was taking me to the restroom I saw Miriam holding a guy like they were just entering the place and looking for where to sit.

I pull out my phone quickly and stylishly and take a few photos of Miriam without her notice.

The worker shows me the restroom and Immediately I enter, I drop my purse and place a call across for Lily.

"Lily, please, are you free? I want you to help me out with something," I ask immediately she picks the call. "Actually I wanted to go on a lunch date with my boyfriend, what do you want me to do for you?" She asks. "You got a boyfriend? I never knew about it," I ask, amazed by the new development in Lily's life.

"It's not really a boyfriend actually, we are still getting to know each other, sorry if I called my boyfriend,"

"Well that's nice, I wanted you to help me pick up, Jake and Emily from school,"

"Oh that, I already had that in mind because I felt you won't be back early, remember you told me about that Job stuff with your new boss," she reminded me. "Oh thank you so much, Lily"

"You're welcome,see you later," she hangs up.

Lily was a really supportive friend even if we didn't have much money, she was considerate and nice to me.

It's not like Jake can't take care of Emily, he's big enough to bring her back but because of safety reasons and these guys my Dad owes money who is lurking around they might come up with a crazy ideas and take or hurt my siblings which I don't want to happen, that why either me or Lily will go pick them up from school.

I head out the toilet to meet up with Ethan who was waiting for me, before he runs out of patience.

My mind runs back to what Lily said to me about having a boyfriend and it sounds funny but it has to be true and real. Her last relationship didn't end well and it messed with her mind.

I came out of the toilet heading to where Ethan was waiting for me. I looked up to see Ethan talking to a guy in a suit and they were laughing like they knew each other before that time and I took a closer look to replace out it's my ex. I quickly dodge, hiding in the nearest wall, holding my chest. Is he stalking me?

I try to spy on them and I realize he is with a woman while he is talking with Ethan. Ethan looks back stylishly probably looking to get sight of me and make sure I'm alright because I might have stayed longer than expected.

When I'm standing behind a wall I'm closely looking at Ethan and my ex and their conversation is brief as they bring out their phone to collect and exchange. God knows what I got scared that Ethan might have given him my number. I quickly switch off my phone.

My ex enters the car with the strange lady and zooms off, while Ethan is still there waiting for me.

Is my ex stalking me? Why is he here today of all days?
